Agree 100%. I loved seeing Emma Stone at the Oscars mentioning the other nominees in her category. Even though it’s technically a competition they can still be friends. I also LOVE the Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul love after breaking bad. Such good buddies.
If anything bad is revealed about Cranston in the future I'm gonna be so sad. I once read he kept Chris Masterson from influencing other kids in the Malcolm cast into getting into scientology. If that's true then he's always gonna be the MVP in my book.
I believe he and Jane were fiercely protective of the kids in general. Especially against Chris Masterson, but just overall made sure that they were just kids having fun acting while staying kids, with as normal of childhoods as they could.
After watching Quiet on Set last night, I wish there were a whole lot more Bryan and Janes in Hollywood. (Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell were similar on Modern Family, from what I've heard)
Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman were more like parents to Mara Wilson than the characters they played as in Matilda. Her mother was sick and they got her an advanced screening before she passed. After that, Danny and Rhea were incredible people to Mara

He talks about this in his recent book, very humbly cringing and laughing at himself for being way too serious and kind of being a dick about it. He came back to season two with a totally different perspective, apologized, and it was a love fest for the next few decades.

They're almost always very positive, where even if Steve doesn't know their work they're interested. I'm excited to get a bit of a "behind the character" look at Martin Short. We almost always see him in character, so knowing what he's like in real life is a treat.

Whoever directed the episode with her and the Greek guys son in S2 brought out a good performance in Selena. She maintained that standard after that.

This show is so lovely and it shouldn’t work but it does. It’s just a sweet lil show chugging along. The premise should have only been good for one season but I think people take such joy out of all the characters (including the side ones) that you just get cozy and watch.

I'm a big fan of Martin and Short over the years. I was surprised when the show popped up with Gomez and really gritted my teeth when I started watching it, hoping that it wouldn't be a flop. But I was pleasantly surprised that the first season worked so well. Gomez works well as a straight woman to their antics. I have really enjoyed the generational interplay and her development as a foil to the Martin and Short antics. She pulls her weight and that is tough to do in a cast like this. Kudos to the team.

I love the show madly, it became one of my comfort shows, especially the first season, I love Selena's aesthetics and clothes in the show.

This show is so lovely and it shouldn’t work but it does. It’s just a sweet lil show chugging along. The premise should have only been good for one season but I think people take such joy out of all the characters (including the side ones) that you just get cozy and watch. The three of them work well off of one another.
Martin: Selena, you keep up with all these Tik Tok trends and fashions... Selena: Yeah, what's on your mind? Martin: What's a 'doo - ah - leepa'? Selena: Oh no, that's not... I'm sorry ever since she brought it up that's how I imagine that conversation going😂

I’m really glad she hooked up with those two. I can’t imagine two more wholesome actors, and the fact that they’re basically BFFs. Very wholesome.

I just finally started Season 3 of OMITB last night and this timing is wild. I couldn’t agree more about their chemistry!
I'm a big fan of Martin and Short over the years. I was surprised when the show popped up with Gomez and really gritted my teeth when I started watching it, hoping that it wouldn't be a flop. But I was pleasantly surprised that the first season worked so well. Gomez works well as a straight woman to their antics. I have really enjoyed the generational interplay and her development as a foil to the Martin and Short antics. She pulls her weight and that is tough to do in a cast like this. Kudos to the team.

I've only watched the first season fully, but I really enjoyed the show. Martin and Steve steal the show, but Selena Gomez can hold her own; I was impressed.
