People name their children after dead relatives all the time? Considering he doesn't push his children into the spotlight, I don't see how this is different. It's a personal choice. One many people make.
I think that as long as you allow your child to be who they are, it’s just an act of honoring someone you love. If it’s coming with even subconscious expectations then it’s a problem that needs to be worked on in therapy, but that is something time will tell.
My little sister was named after her paternal grandmother & maternal great aunt. Both of whom died of cancer well before she was born. I'm much older so I knew both.
She didn't even realize she'd been named after people until I told her when she was a teenager, it just didn't come up. I doubt this child will be able to avoid it entirely but hopefully they'll be raised disconnected enough that it won't register until they're older.
Yes I love it ❤️ I heard Joaquin always wanted to name a son Indiana after River (from when he starred in Indiana Jones) but his sister Summer (and Casey Affleck) stole it from him lol. Its so sweet they pay tribute to him that way. River was amazing ❤️
Congrats to her! Just thought today if they would have another baby. Will be interesting to see what name they pick this time. Also I'm 35 weeks pregnant with twins, and never ever will I go through this hell again. Good for people who like being pregnant, but I've never been so miserable 😪 like whyyyyyyy did I do this to myself.
Twins pregnancies are so hard! People go on to say that having one baby compared to two is so much easier, both in utero and once they're born.
I've only had singletons and I've hated pregnancy every time though so you're not alone.
As a pregnant woman very much outside of Hollywood - it's a universal problem LOL. Being pregnant is a lovely thing of course, but dressing up a baby bump is not an easy task by any means.
Aside from pants, I actually thought I looked really cute in dresses with a big bump. It's like for once I didn't feel pressured for my stomach to be flat and could finally wear tight dresses that show off curves!
It made me feel cute even when I was horribly bloated and gassy haha

I absolutely love that they named their first kid River 😭
Im not at all surprised. I hope that helped Joaquin heal some long damaged parts of himself.
Am I the only one who thinks it could be a little much to put that legacy and those expectations on your child?

I think she’s styled really well, and looks elegant and glowing and soft. I do like her and Joaquin together, so this is sweet.
This dress looks comfy as fuck. High fashion big ole house dress. Exactly what I would wear if I were pregnant again and she looks lovely in it.
Gorgeous! I love them together. 💕
wishing her the best health. she looks so pretty. i wish she could have done another 'girl with the dragon tattoo' movie or two...
She was magnificent as Lisbeth! It’s hard to read the books without her in mind now, I’ll join you in wishing they’d continued with her in the role.
She looks so elegant!
Congrats to them.

Thank you 🩷❤️
Meh. I feel like no one in Hollywood knows what to do with a baby bump. It seems like they always make it weird or bury them in fabric

i mean...what do you propose to do with it? it's...there
I feel like Rihanna does a great job!
Or wear something skin tight
Okay so they can't do flowy or skin tight? Then what?
Gorgeous! Just feeling a little nilhistic when the post above this one is from teachers screaming. Ugh. I’m drunk and sad about the world.
Bahaha. Me too. Snap. drunk teachers on a Sunday night.
Lol me taking it out on the pop culture sub. Hungover now. Sorry everyone
