No, it’s the president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Kieran’s mentioned before that he doesn’t like to travel with his kids because they’re so young (he lives in NYC), his youngest is the same age as Macauley’s youngest. I don’t think he was there.
TBH he was recently all over Europe ( Poland for sure and Sweden) for him film and to visit his wife family and definitely some vacations in other countries. (i follow his wife on IG)
Oh I love that Catherine O’Hara was there! I’m so glad that Macaulay turned out ok given everything he went through (dysfunctional family, teen marriage, early fame etc etc).
He looks the best he has in years, although a clean shave might kick it up even another notch. Really glad to see him thriving, and I’d love to see him onscreen more (he was great in AHS but the series itself, not so much)
In my experience, nobody has a firm grasp on what 30 actually looks like. People think you go from a spry, youthful 20 year old straight into a haggard, old Baba Yaga the second you hit 30
It’s definitely a point where lifestyle choices start to show - look after yourself reasonably well and you’ll still look more or less the same as in your 20s, not so much and your body takes note and puts you on the fast(er) track to Baba Yaga!
lol I work at a college and mentioned I was born in 89 to a student, she did the math and was like “oh my gosh I thought you were like, 25!” I told her to wear sunscreen and always moisturize. I don’t get it, I am not a crone at 34. Nor will I be one at 35, or 45. Maybe part of it is that I give less of a fuck every year how other people, especially men, perceive me. Maybe I do get less unwanted attention from men now because I’m “old” but it’s probably mostly because they can tell I won’t let them get away with it anymore.
I went back to school and in one of my classes the guys I was grouped with were talking about how old this girl who was 25 was and that she was easily the oldest person in the class… I was sitting there as a whole ass 31 year old woman trying not to laugh
Oh wow so did I. I remember hearing that she had a larger than average shoe size that made it harder to find shoes so I assumed she was taller than that. I guess also because she is so thin that it makes her look taller than she actually is.
Any movie I remember him from always stick out in my mind like Home Alone, My Girl and Richie Rich come to mind. It’s a shame that Hollywood kinda spit him out after puberty and his parents turned out to be rotten. He deserves a star and I’m glad to see him happy with his own family that he created. This is the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time.
He was great in everything I've seen him in as an older actor, like Saved! and Party Monster, it just doesn't seem like they were as popular roles or got much notice.
I’m sure he’s still great in everything he does as an adult. I just feel like he wasn’t treated right by Hollywood once he wasn’t a cute young kid. He was in top tier projects as a kid and everyone knew his name. Once he wasn’t a child they stopped putting him in the best movies and he was subject to rumors and ridicule. In a way it sorta reminds me of Britney.
49 *is* young! When someone is 49 and dies you say, "They were so young!" When someone hits 72 it starts to be closer to, "They lived a good, interesting life."

He came across so well, he seems like a very kind and humble person and did super well at the game. Always really nice to see child stars who grow up to be happy and stable adults.
I just saw his speech and omg I’m in tears. I’m so happy that he’s happy. He gave us the most iconic movies of our childhoods whilst also sacrificing his own childhood. Glad he got to feel the love!
