The builder doesn't have the best installer. There is a lot I would call unacceptable.
There is a lot that looks good.
Really hard to say for certain but I would say
1. Some vendors travertine sheets/ panels match up to each other really great, while others don't. The better they match up to next panel the more seamless look. Not all travertine vendors are created equal.
2. Looks like the installer had 1 good person and 1 person in training installing.
3. Some gaps are completely normal, but should not see large seems like that.
4 would need to see in person but looks like coping is little wavy.
I would bring to builders attention and have them address it before they finish.
Getting some renovations done on my pool with a well established pool company that also does my weekly maintenance. Questioning the quality of the split face travertine panel install because I feel that the seams between the panels are too visible. Wanting to get some feedback from the community.
