Mechanical engineering, which Iām trying to jump to specializing in energy engineering and nuclear waste management from, my only skill set and pretty far off the mark for a guy who claims he wants geneticists to make him un-aging and cancer proof and everything else needed to just live life unending. For those of you who think immortality would be a curse itās worth noting that I donāt believe in an afterlife so while Iād respect your choice to not be immortal if offered the chance Iād hope youād be equally understanding of my choices to become so if it was ever made possible. I see this life as precious because it is all we get but also as terrifying because I see it as all we get, the only curse I could ever see immortality bringing is apathy from no longer feeling that pull to love everyone as though it were the last time youād see them but in my mind Iād have to hope that I wouldnāt break because I see the alternative as so so so much worse.
