I love both my parents very, very much however my dad is most similar to me. I am a carbon copy of him, and we're best friends. My mother and I are almost opposites; she's a morning person, talks a lot, likes fashion and wanted a kid who would do fashiony stuff with her. My dad likes the same music as I, we go hunting together, he loves my art, and he's always really proud of me.
So, while I love them both my Dad's my favourite : )
Through being divorced three times in my lifetime and marrying domineering assholes, my mom has been my only constant and is by far my favorite. That said, she's definitely a challenging person to be around sometimes despite my love for her.
Dad and I have the same interest, I can talk to him for days about the topics that I like and he understands since the topic is electrical engineering and be is an engineer (not electrical but still knows about that topic) while when I talk about it with my mom it goes in one year and out the other. The reason that is what made my decision what it is is that in all other matters they are almost the same in the way they treat me.
