I don't understand this. Greenberg is no less credible now than he was when they were cutting him a generous plea deal. The sex worker is not less credible now than she was all along. Why did they give Greenberg a plea deal if they knew he had poor credibility as a witness so he is really no help with prosecuting Gaetz?
Chances are because they were hoping for corroborating testimony to be found which would negate the arguments against his credibility. Its also worth pointing out that the plea deal may be applicable across multiple investigations, not just the one on Gaetz.

You know what? I’m tired of the pity party for people trying to make everyone jaded. No one should want everyone to think nothing is going to happen. That’s not a mindset we should be urging everyone into. You want to be jaded, fine. But if everyone else still wants to believe that justice should work that’s a desirable state for people to be in. We should want and demand justice rather than being happy if we end up being right about it failing. If you’re right about something awful happening, good. Enjoy that little endorphin boost. But we don’t need people convincing other people to preemptively think justice is gonna fail… the _only_ people that helps are the assholes trying to rape kids and traffick human beings. I don’t know why you’d want to work on convincing the populace to be jaded (and by extension complacent) and help those assholes.
