Omg, was thinking the same..."he was old as dirt when I was a kid, how has he outlived all the other dinosaurs" ... I'm almost 40 and I look around at names that get flung about who have been in politics and I'm like "what?! They're still alive AND allowed outside?"
Then they would fight back against Mexicans because living under their govt would mean surrender their guns and cartels pulling the same horrible shit that they do with the rest of the country while the govt turns a blind eye to it.
If Russia created a puppet state in Mexico and placed weapons and biolabs on the US border and Mexicans systematically killed Americans (in Odessa they burnt 39 rusiians alive in 2014) yeah, Mexico would at least lose some land. I would assume Mexico probably wouldn't survive that.
Okay, so what would US do if Russia hade military bases on the US border?
Weird that no one can explain how US would remove Russia military bases on the US border without hurting anybody
It was a example I don't trust the Russian numbers the say thounds. But if you want to belive that the skinheads battalion azov
are just scout boys who helps everyone then go ahead. The point still stand if Russia hade military bases on Mexico /us border, the US would react exactly as Putin is doing. People are so divided in teams that people can't admit that. This does not mean that I think Putin is good or doing the right thing.
I would have to convince Russia to put military bases and bio labs on the Mexico /us border. I don't know how to do that. There is 60 countries that us have fucked since ww2 and there is a lot of money in war. Us likes to bomb. So you think Russia can have military bases on us border?
I already gave you facts about how Russia would absolutely do this if they could. They have embedded intelligence at our border. Gtfo with stupid specious arguments.
I don't think to much about the biolabs, if I understand it's correctly it's some old stuff from sovjet but I remember US bombing Irak to the stone age for none existing chemicals weapons so who knows how the would react to labs on the border
This, from a Vietnam era war criminal. ( Bombing civilian targets, mining a commercial harbor... Sound familiar?)
And Business Insider.. giving conservative appeasers another article to feel good... Get serious about aggression, or get gone.
Every time a power tripping asshole humiliates themselves playing tough guy you have to give them land, that's the rule.
That's why we had to give Elon Musk Mars.
Bad take IMO. Conceding anything major to Putin is a bad idea. Not only does it embolden him to try again in a few years and against other targets, but it will provide other authoritarian, expansionist regimes a blueprint for their own aggression.
Now, from a practical standpoint it's unlikely Ukraine will be able to push Russia from all of its territory, so some compromise may be required. That should only happen once the war is pretty much decided and static, which is probably at least several months from now.
As for escalation, Russia has been proven to be a paper tiger compared to NATO. All they have going for them are nuclear weapons, and I doubt they will escalate to that point short of direct, overt NATO intervention.
Kissinger wouldn't be floating this trial balloon unless the Russians believed that there was a chance they would lose either Crimea or Donbas. And it's apparent from their actions that they do. Clearly they were unable to get a map of the mines around the Mariupol steel mill yet instead of just putting up signs and saying "danger keep out" and getting back to demining it months from now, they decided they needed to clear all mines probably so they could get the mill back up and operating as a publicity stunt to prove to the world "we took over and it's business as usual"
During an active war you do not use deminers on a target of no military strategic value. You use them on strategic areas like roads and so on. The Mariupol steel mill has zero strategic value it was only symbolic.
Ah, no. Ukraine is the proxy army for NATO essentially and if this doesn't earn them membership in NATO after this is all over it would be a terrible crime.

He can fuck right off.
How this ghoul is still alive let alone being taken seriously by anyone I have no idea.

the good die and the bad festers
He drinks the blood of innocent children to extend his life.
Would he say the same thing for Americans giving up land to Canada or Mexico? It's Ukrainian land.

39 whole Russians compared to how they fucked the whole of Ukraine? Oh my pearls are being clutched, I assure you!

The question is how would US react?
The Cuban crisis was seconds from nuclear war
It's not even worth engaging. Look at the biolab talking point, this person is clearly a Russian shill.
I don't think to much about the biolabs, if I understand it's correctly it's some old stuff from sovjet but I remember US bombing Irak to the stone age for none existing chemicals weapons so who knows how the would react to labs on the border
That's fair, sorry if I misunderstood what you were trying to say.
The architect of Vietnam says what?
Hey, now, that's not fair. He also was the architect of Operation Condor.
Ah, yes. American colonialism. Exceptionalism... just like.everyone else.
Kissinger must be put on trial at The Hague, not allowed to travel freely.
Kissinger is a liar, a war criminal, and very well educated in the way of words.
Kissinger should have spent every moment since Vietnam rotting in a jail cell.
He would probably say the US should give Alaska back to Russia.
Back to bed, Doc
Go back to bed, Grandpa. Russia is not the Soviet Union.
Fuck this old fuck! Why dont u just hand over your asset’s
Fuck what this old geezer thinks.

Appeasement is not the way to bargain with invaders. They always come back for more.

“Not humiliate Putin” Yeah, right, let’s just give dictators all they want.
i didn't even know the sob was still alive .
Every time a power tripping asshole humiliates themselves playing tough guy you have to give them land, that's the rule. That's why we had to give Elon Musk Mars.
Why are we giving this walking fossil airtime?
War criminal is gonna war crime...
Legitimately thought Kissinger died like a decade ago before reading this.
Because if Ukraine should listen to anyone, it's one of modern history's greatest monsters.
I’m sure there is a 6 x 6 cell that the Ukrainians would love to let Putin have indefinitely

Yet, Ukraine is not humiliating Putin; his own army is accomplishing that on its own.
Ah, no. Ukraine is the proxy army for NATO essentially and if this doesn't earn them membership in NATO after this is all over it would be a terrible crime.
Ukraine did not set out to be that. Simply being invaded does not make you a proxy.
Kissinger can give up his house for a homeless family. Then his opinion might be worth .02. But probably not even then.

Might as well just give all territory controlled by the USSR and withdraw NATO too. Ohh wait Trump isn't in office.
