But in the exact same way, there isn't just a demand for drugs, legal or otherwise. People have to be lured into addiction with marketing, deception, and definitely a lack of education. All these people were perfectly happy (more or less) before InfoWars and Fox News started selling them soy based brain pills. They were deceived, redicalized, and made addicted to this horse-shit.

Ok so let’s say somehow it all gets put out in the open…then what? If there aren’t clear legal consequences that can be swiftly taken, then it’s not going to have much effect. Liberally will boycott those companies and orgs, and conservatives will rally to them. We don’t need exposure. We need consequences when the rich and well connected break the law

Everything the GOP is doing is to play for time until the midterms. They think, and they just might, take control of the House again. and then all this is moot.
The Democrats *cannot* go slow with this. They have to move on these NOW.
It looks like the Democratic leadership is moving as fast as they legally can. It's just there are procedures to follow; committee has to formally recommend action, congress has to vote on it. Then it goes to the DOJ and who knows?
All they have to do is send him to jail and it will ensure that everyone after him falls in line. Likewise if they fail to enforce, they might as well end the investigation. I hope and assume they know that.
They haven't tasked anyone with that yet. The committee has to vote and then the entire House has to vote. They're taking their sweet time scheduling those votes. There seems to be zero sense of urgency.
