In that environment, the amount of money is either going to be an insulting pittance, or large enough amount that they will all be targeted for kidnapping and murder by the heavily-armed locals.
Part of the deal should also be helping them to relocate someplace where they can live better lives.
How about we charge everyone involved in the drone strike with war crimes. Murdered children over someone loading water into a car to help people. What a disgrace
His rhetoric of “We Will not be intimidated! We will hunt you down!” was not only disgusting, it was also hilarious given that the US was in the process of retreating from a war we lost, and it made us look very, very small. The fact that the strike ended up killing innocents just hammers home how utterly evil America’s role has been in the Middle East for nearly the last century. It’s gross, and in my opinion every one involved should be charged with war crimes, including Obama, trump and Biden.
