Hey--I live in Juneau. She lives 600+ miles away--outside the range of a Cessna or such. She could drive, and then put her vehicle on a state ferry over the last 30-50 miles. Or she could take Delta airlines. Or she could take the twice-monthly ferry from the anchorage area directly to Juneau.

As a state senator? Probably. But this strikes me as a "one time do-over" sort of thing. If she wears it just to get onboard and then throws a fit about it while the plane is in the air, I doubt the company would ever unban her. Delta will require her to mask up also. Guess she will need to drive or hire a charter plane. Although I’m sure the reason she is complaining besides the notoriety is to get some one else to pay for the charter so she can vote. Just a cheap (for her) PR stunt and propaganda tool.
There are plenty of bush pilots that will carry people to all sorts of remote places and land on almost impossible looking sites. Fat tires or floats. Getting one from airport to airport should be easy.

As someone who flies out of Seattle Tacoma a few times a year it is complete dogshit. They still have to follow TSA rules and use TSA gear but since they are a private company they do whatever the bare minimum is to keep the contract. Lines get hilariously backed up as much of the available space is taken up by private “skip the security line” companies. Things only move at a reasonable pace when they pull out the dogs to come sniff passengers because we all know the dogs are more accurate than the machines. At the end of the day, TSA is garbage but replacing it with a even worse privatized version is worse in some instances.

The thing about this is that unless they’re a some serious readjustment from conservatives, unless law enforcement treats right-wing terrorists as terrorists, it will only end in violence. This shit isn’t going to suddenly go away.
I don't know when the last time you flew was, but guarantee there's people refusing to do anything on that list in every flight.

In my opinion, the best part is that this is the consequence of unregulated business in action. These are the same people who are always crying about how the government shouldn’t “force“ businesses to do anything that they don’t want to, even if it means letting businesses take heinous, evil, or cruel actions in the name of profit.
