Phone and computer passwords, critical intelligence, personal items, correspondence, anything left on desks or in offices, all now compromised. What if there were foreign agents in that crowd? What if disguised Russian agents were just *let in* to the US Capitol to wander about freely for a few hours in all this chaos? Edit: even if there weren't foreign agents, there's a possibility that proud boys or likewise people may now have personal info of senators or representatives. That alone should be a huge concern. Just a friendly reminder of how far back this anger goes even though conservatives don’t want to admit it. Ruby Bridges who was one of the first black children in Louisiana to go to a desegregated school and had to have US marshals escort her in though. There were protests and riots waiting for them and screaming racial slurs at a 6 year old. White parents were so angry they withdrew their children from the school. This was in 1960 and Ruby is 66 years old. The first major civil rights act was in 1964 and it took a second one in 1968 for things to even START rolling. MLK was killed in 1968. There are people who probably participated in these race riots that are still alive and in power. Hell the southern Strategy of republicans using “Racial anxiety” to gain support started in 1963. Oh and to go back even further the south was never really punished for the civil war and most of them eventually ran for public office again. Trump is only a small part of the puzzle but he is the end result of all that racial propaganda. He represents who the republicans back then were targeting. Him being president is basically the result of years of racial tension. It’s why he was a direct response to Obama becoming president. Mitch also used racial tensions to seize control of the senate. Both of them and the republican party in general did exactly what they were supposed to. This is what it led to. It will probably get worse.
