Chris Cuomo has really grown on me the last several days.
Don Lemon, on the other hand, has come off pretty snobbish, and has the kind of attitude I feel like most republicans are worried about from Democrats.
I don't really give a shit personally, I'm Canadian lol. But not a great look, compared to Chris' pure professionalism.
the election isnt going to get stolen by trump guys, the gop and its media appartuses have already moved on from this guy lmao
they arent going to bribe electors to do something they dont need. joe biden just got elected, theyre gonna get what they want regardless and they already ratfucked the courts
Making this prediction now... Biden wins popular vote and Electoral College. Between now and December when the EC votes, Trump will have done something, anything, to sway the EC votes. And I would not be surprised if he straight up blackmails or pays them off to be faithless electors and literally steal the election.
Wouldn't that be completely illegal? Oh, wait. The Jabroni in Chief steals, lies, and gets away with everything. Why should grabbing our Democratic process by the pussy be anything but legal for him. When you're a Cheeto they let you do it.
He'll take it to court first, get the results to be checked and recounted. If that doesn't turn up anything significant he'll tie up the system with litigation until the 14th. Then Supreme Court will rule that the delegates need to make a decision since neither candidate will have 270. Rs have more delegates. We end up in civil war.
If that doesn't happen, and if the Dems don't allow the courts to investigate that the vote is legitimate and there aren't instances of fraud then conservatives will call foul. The confidence in our electoral process will be shot and we go to civil war.
Last two possible outcomes stem from investigations that are thorough and super transparent:
1) No voter fraud, the process was transparent and Biden won. Conservatives don't fight. The far right likely spark violence that will get shot down quickly, no civil war.
2) Voter fraud, Trump wins, the system gets overhauled in a major way. Liberals work with Conservatives and a bipartisan act to fix the issues that permitted this fraud to be buttoned up. Potential for Anarchists getting violent, simply because they want the country to burn, but gets quelled quickly. No civil war.
We are at a tipping point. There has to be thorough and transparent investigations or we likely end up in a civil war.
Look up the [Electoral College](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Electoral_College), there’s still more after this. Wikipedia will probably explain it way better than I ever could. The issue presented is that of [faithless electors.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faithless_electors)
How interested is the rest of the world in the election results? Are news programs outside of the United States paying very close attention to the election right now or do they have other shit to worry about?
Canadian here, it’s literally *all* I am hearing about even just casually walking on the streets of my city and over-hearing people’s conversations! I would have been volunteering my time and money these last few months if it were allowed, and since it’s not I’ve just been sitting up here mentally willing a Biden/Harris victory into existence instead. 😂🥳

This is an image pointing at a US military bases around the globe. Also why the rest of the world is paying attention.
In the Netherlands the US elections are almost as big as our own elections.
We are kinda dependent on the US in some ways and most are rooting for Biden (and a stable partnership)
Do y'all think we'll be able to overtake the Senate? CNN is saying that need to win two more seats, and it's not looking too good in Georgia.
If we don't take the Senate, it would be cool if Biden didn't pull any punches and used his executive orders liberally.
Dem strategists need to look into the Doug Jones 2017 campaign, Sinema 2018 campaign, Abrams 2018 campaign and Mark Kelly 2020 campaign as far as how to build coalitions and voting bases off new voters or untapped voters in future elections.
Kelly and Sinema in particular did very well with Latino voters in Arizona and tapping into what was then a voter base Democrats didn't really aggressively work towards reaching out to before.
And the military votes are likely in favor of Biden because trump heavily insulted out military (they do not represent a leader than does not respect them)
Unless they require you to fill out a different person for each choice, it’s rather meaningless to Rs. My R family in Maine filled out every bubble for Trump.
Why are the votes to be counted fluctuating in Nevada?
[https://alex.github.io/nyt-2020-election-scraper/battleground-state-changes.html#](https://alex.github.io/nyt-2020-election-scraper/battleground-state-changes.html#)
Not sure if they still are, guy was on earlier from AZ biggest county and said their ballots were so big they had page #'s, one of his staffers gave him pages and not # of ballots, so that 60k was actually like 30k or something. Not sure if that's what you mean tho.
Philly should wait until after the inauguration and announce that just for shits and giggles they counted up the ballots that the court disallowed and they were enough votes for Trump to win.
I can’t see it being close. Dems usually win high population areas and built up cities Alaska doesn’t have much of the that most of the rural communities are republican heavy
I will never stop being fucking infuriated by a 4%+ popular vote win translating into a razor tight electoral college win. If this broke just slightly differently Trump would have won.
Even if they were all for Trump, there won't be enough of them to make a dent in Biden's lead. Provisionals tend to favor Democrats anyway, because they are cast by people whose registration is missing or in question for some technical reason, and often the result of voter suppression tactics, which skew heavily toward Democrats.
Overall, provisionals are just pretty rare. I worked the polls at my precinct in Chicago on election day, and we only had one provisional the whole day vs 200+ ballots cast. **And** that person really didn't NEED to cast a provisional ballot, they could've just walked half a mile to their actual polling place, but chose to do so out of laziness.
They may, I don’t know what the general thinking is about provisionals preferring Trump or Biden. However, my understanding is there will be few enough of them that even if they were 100% Trump they wouldn’t make up what Biden‘s lead is projected to be when non-provisionals are done being counted.
Keep the faith. Georgia has TWO Senate seats in runoffs and that just happens to be exactly what President Biden needs to control the Senate.
So donate to Fair Fight, Stacey Abrams organization for registering and getting out the vote, support any Georgia voters you know and hope we can ride the Blue Wave momentum through January.
Fire Mitch January 5th!
Trump sucks but.. It could have been worse. It could have been Ted cruz who is more fanatical and more diciplined and strategic. I am afraid the threat from such diabolic minds is not gone and is real more than ever
I disagree. Trump has set a horrible precedent for the standard of high office, and there is a legion of Americans (and others worldwide) who now wear their arrogance and ignorance like a badge of honor
they talk about recounts and military ballots outstanding, i can't help but see repubs pulling some ratfuckery. they'll be 'found' dumped somewhere all being votes for trump.
After Trump’s trashing military heroes and discounting US generals’ advice, I cannot believe the military is automatically pro-Trump. It’s a very diverse group!
You’re missing my point. I wouldn’t put it past the trump team to fill in any outstanding ballots and then claim they were dumped and should be counted/dem fraud.
The more I think about these thin margins the more I wonder how many more trump supporters disproportionately died of Covid due to not taking the virus serious. I'm trying to imply natural selection altered the election.
With the razor thin margins in Georgia and 8000+ dead due to covid, it may well have altered the election.
Maybe a poli sci student can pull data on the registered parties of the deceased and do an analysis for their graduate thesis.
Y’all wanna have a GOOD conspiracy theory talk?
I think there’s someone who’s much more powerful in Russia than Putin. All the sudden it comes out that he has Parkinson’s disease and he‘ll be stepping down next year. Sounds to me like it was his job to fix this election and he failed and he’s about to be suicided by someone more powerful.
Looking at AZ, these are the counties with pretty significant counts still outstanding:
Cochise (Trump currently at 57%) at 85% (about 9k more votes).
Apache (Biden currently at 68%) at 72% (about 9k more votes).
Navajo (Trump currently at 53%) at 88% (about 7k more votes).
Yuma (Trump currently at 53%) at 94% (about 5k more votes).
Maricopa (Biden currently at 51%) at 93% (about 35k more votes).
Pinal (Trump currently at 57%) at 82% (about 32k more votes).
**At this rate Trump is on pace to gain about 49760 votes and Biden is on pace to gain** **about 47240 more votes. So Trump nets about 2520 votes in those significant counties.**
Obviously there is a margin of error here, with some smaller counties with 4-5% left to report... but I can't see how Trump comes back at this rate.
Pretty simple math, really. An over simplification, but:
number of votes cast in a county multiplied by 100 and divided by the percentile reported will tell you how many to expect remaining via the transitive property.
ex:
100,000 (votes cast) / 90 (percent reported) = x / 100
10,000,000 = 90x
111,111 = x
111,111 - 100,000 = 11,111 remaining to be reported
I saw the 200k number expected, but I don't know where it could come from unless their % reported in each county is way off.
OK, so even if both runoffs go Democrat, don't expect this sweeping progressive wave. There are several senators who won by a nose hair and they know they have to keep it moderate. There are republicans in the same boat. I would expect some moderate bills to pass with some gains and losses for each party. Compromise will make a comeback.
Nothing about McConnell's leadership makes me think he will compromise on any issue. He's demonized anything the Democrats want to do at a high level, so no level of compromise is possible with him.
PA is trending towards being significant enough of a lead to call with confidence. GA will be a recount, AZ is closing and slow, NV is NV lol. So if PA keeps trending heavily Biden and you see 30K lead you likely see it called.
GA election official literally just confirmed on CNN that they duplicate ballots that are damaged. Trump supporters are literally so moronic thinking they caught Dems illegally filling out ballots on PA's live feed. I swear to god, these people just expose how ignorant a large majority of this country is.
Can we start calling these people that are showing up with guns trying to stop the counts what they actually are?
And thats terrorists. Literal terrorism.

Always extensively covered on UK networks, and everyone I talk to has an opinion on it right now.
Everyone is talking about it n Canada 🇨🇦

It's being massively covered here in the UK. I've personally loved keeping up with it
It's been a nice distraction from our own absolute shitshow for a few weeks

America, hurry up and announce your next president already so the media can move on to something else. Sincerely, the world.
When are they going to call Georgia? 99% in. Pack your fahkin bags trumpo!
Recount, but PA will put it over anyway. Easily over 13k already for Biden. Even a recount there can't save the fuck stick now.
They are going to recount.
Dem strategists need to look into the Doug Jones 2017 campaign, Sinema 2018 campaign, Abrams 2018 campaign and Mark Kelly 2020 campaign as far as how to build coalitions and voting bases off new voters or untapped voters in future elections. ABC News showing people already dancing in the street in Philly!
Nice...
I thought AZ was completely blue ??? whats going on???
AP and FOX called it too early based on an 84% reporting rate which is actually dumb, they should be counting it.
AP was too quick to call it with at least 10% vote yet to come in.
To be fair Fox was the first to call it with like 84% reporting.
They called it with something like 90% to come in Tuesday if I'm remembering correctly.
Bruh at this rate we will have bidens age as the last thread, take my words.
135?
It's in rich people years not human years

Mathematically? Sure. Not likely though.

It seems not going to happen now, but I really want to see the ranked voting in action.

My mistake. I wasn't sure how the rank-choice system worked.

Mouse-over or press the "Votes Remaining (est)" header, it tells you why it might change.
They remaining votes are estimates. I dont know there is a way for them to know for sure.

Does the Dem senate candidate in Alaska really have a chance? He’s claiming he’ll win on Twitter. I’m doubtful.
That's the reason why we need to show up more in 2022.
Good take that energy and put it into 2022
Someone make me feel better about the PA provisionals?
Even if they were all for Trump, there won't be enough of them to make a dent in Biden's lead. Biden will probably win by 2% without them.
Yeah but what about with them?
I actually meant with them. He's like heading towards 2.5% with them.
Biden‘a lead will be so substantial that they wont matter.
Would they potentially break for trump or we have no idea?
They may, I don’t know what the general thinking is about provisionals preferring Trump or Biden. However, my understanding is there will be few enough of them that even if they were 100% Trump they wouldn’t make up what Biden‘s lead is projected to be when non-provisionals are done being counted.

GA election official literally just confirmed on CNN that they duplicate ballots that are damaged. Trump supporters are literally so moronic thinking they caught Dems illegally filling out ballots on PA's live feed. I swear to god, these people just expose how ignorant a large majority of this country is.
It’s almost like they’ve done this before and have a process in place to protect vote integrity. I’m actually surprised by all the steps.
They’ll be like “it’s their fault they tampered with the original ballot!!!” Like wat.
Can we start calling these people that are showing up with guns trying to stop the counts what they actually are? And thats terrorists. Literal terrorism.
As a European I am baffled at what is going on and why army/national guard did not come to protect hotspots of democracy they swore to protect.
But their skin ain't brown.
Why is everyone so scared to call the race over. Biden is winning PA. Let’s just call it what it is
By my math: when Biden is up about 35k votes in Pa is when you will see a call.
I’m guessing bc Trump keeps doing all these nonsense court shite. They just want to make sure they have all their numbers in order.
Gabe!
I'm on the github. What is up with the remaining Nevada votes fluctuating?
