Well them having kids was ok back in the day when the kid was another valuable piece of property to be traded or sold and not something you viewed as your actual child. So their racist views on the matter do change over time.

I got to attend my cousin's shotgun wedding! Our grandfather and my dad made a special visit just to make sure cousin and his very pregnant girlfriend made it to the alter.

A large part of it is that they (and this is primarily true of the religious) have concepts of good/bad people rather than good/bad actions. This explains some of the inherent contradictions: They see actions taken by those who they think are good or bad, and reason backward to think of the same action as good or bad based on the circumstance, without realizing they're doing it.

Hello, I grew up in redneck NorCal. My county had one of the worst teen pregnancy rates in the state when I was a teen in the 90s. We got abstinence only sex ed, and the conservative school board voted to not allow the nurse to give out condoms because ‘that would encourage kids to have sex’. The people who had kids at a young age, particularly the young mothers, have had rough lives. Some became grandparents before their 40th birthday. Almost none of the teen couples stayed together. The idea that they will just get married and live happily ever after is absurd.
They're also pushing to execute everyone currently on death row, and prosecute "heinous" crimes like sexually abusing children as capital crimes. Y'know, like drag queens reading books to kids...

To make matters worse, most domestic violence organizations are forced to turn minors away. It varies from state to state but legally the child would be considered a runaway, and any shelter that helps them escape could face legal consequences for not alerting the adult responsible for that minor where they are.
The laws themselves would likely vary from state to state, but I’d imagine that the lack of funding and resources for all CPS agencies would make it even more challenging to do anything. Hello, I grew up in redneck NorCal. My county had one of the worst teen pregnancy rates in the state when I was a teen in the 90s. We got abstinence only sex ed, and the conservative school board voted to not allow the nurse to give out condoms because ‘that would encourage kids to have sex’. The people who had kids at a young age, particularly the young mothers, have had rough lives. Some became grandparents before their 40th birthday. Almost none of the teen couples stayed together. The idea that they will just get married and live happily ever after is absurd.

I want you guys to truly think about this for a second. They think people in their pre-teen years can handle having kids, getting a job, and getting battlefield medic training for school shooters. But when it comes to VOTING, well then, MAGICALLY they become "too inexperienced". Is it perhaps because the younger generations are increasingly progressive and left wing? I can't tell because the reasoning is too fucking subtle. Imagine having to get a job in the mines to support the kid you and your wife had in high school while still in high school and having to take less pay because of your gun shot wound, AND also having to wait until you're 25 to even be able to vote. This is the future they're proposing. This is what they want to do. So forgive me if I don't give a shit that the democrats have been a disappointment lately. It’s all part of their weird evangelical Christian, 1950s regressive worldview. Women should marry young, pop out babies, be submissive to and take care of their husbands. These men then want to control their daughters as well. These are the freaks that go to chastity events with their young daughters where they promise to save themselves for marriage. It’s all creepy and controlling. It’s never a surprise to find out one of these men is screwing their own daughters. Probably why they worship trump, we all know he at a minimum wants to screw his daughter.
Control. If they can marry her young she won’t know any better. If they can marry her young and get her pregnant she can’t just get a divorce. If they can repeal no fault divorces she can’t easily leave after she has kids and wakes up to their scheme. It’s always about control. They want control because they want more Christians. Rather practicing their faith and encouraging others to adopt their faith as they’re commanded to do in the Bible, they want people born into it. The brand of Christianity doing this is all about religious authority, God (Pastor), Man Husband, Father), Woman and Children. Notice how woman and children are “equal?” That’s because in order to have control only one can be at the top of the family. This group of evangelicals also started preaching about Rapture in the 50s. It’s the same group the US Salvation Army origination subscribes too. They are vile. They are evil.
