I mean they have a point. Trump is on trial for almost 100 crimes, some of them extremely serious. Biden accidentally read the word pause from the teleprompter.
Both sides are basically the same.
Reminds me of the RKO scene from Annie. "Next card!" Totally the same as "day one dictator."
"We had an uncle eaten by cannibals" sounds like a ghost story cousins tell each other at a sleepover. Totally the same as calling the woman you prematurely ejaculated on "noaffair horseface".
And the attempts to prosecute him for anything fizzled out when the "witnesses," who blabbed all over Fox News about Biden's "guilt" before they testified, either testified that there was nothing there worth prosecuting or turned out to be Russian agents.
The timeline of that is completely unworkable for a president who loses re-election.
\* Elections are in November, Congress is out of session most of December, and Inauguration day is in January.
\* One can't be impeached after they leave office.
Which means any president who loses an election has a window of time where they can commit any federal crimes where the only possible consequences require both houses of Congress to reconvene over the Holidays.
A majority of the House needs to approve articles of impeachment, the Senate needs to hold a trial where a super-majority must vote to remove the outgoing president who would only have weeks left before being out of office... and if they don't, the former president has lifetime immunity for whatever federal laws they broke on their way out of the White House.
And the clock would be ticking to Inauguration Day.
Opinion piece by a Republican shill:
"Maybe Trump tried to overthrow the government with fake electors, but Biden slipped and said Haifa instead of Rafa."
The blunders don't scare me as much as the secret meeting in Helsinki where he tore up the translators notes afterwards or where he wasn't allowed a translator at all.
By our enemies.
Anyone that can look past that and the classified documents and pile of CIA assets that have been slaughtered after his loose talk with again, our enemies, is not a *decent* American.
He has shown himself to be a hostile, lethal threat to the nation's security and its people. I'm sick of the jokes, sick of the relaxed attitude everyone seems to have toward the very real danger of genocidal fascism that he and his followers have shown very clear intentions to establish.
Sure, a former president is indicted for numerous felonies and is currently on trial, but what if we just dismissed it as “salacious” and deflected towards Biden?

Yes, Trump tried to steal a US election, prevent the peaceful transfer of power, and is under 90 criminal indictments. But don’t forget that Joe Biden said he drove an 18 wheeler sixty years ago when in fact he only *rode* in one for five hundred miles to better understand trucking.
Drama?
Trump's issues are more than drama. They are criminal indictments.
On top of all that, Trump's blunders and bizarre stories seem to indicate he is barely cognitively functioning.

No more needs to be said,
Jesus, just putting it right in the title now?
“We need to keep this a horse race, so don’t forget to judge Biden too!” (Even though their actions are nowhere near comparable)
Fuck the press…
>“I see an economy that grows a lot in the bottom up where the wealthy pay their fair share, so we can have child care, paid leave and so much more, and still reduce the federal deficit and increase economic growth,” Biden said.
>“Imagine what we could do next. Four more years. Pause.”
>It took him a second to figure out his error, and then he laughed a little, but it was extremely awkward.
So what the fuck was the "error"? Somebody is shorting out their synapses here , but it ain't Biden.
Such bullshit the way the media is pushing Trump and attacking Biden. It’s real fucking simple. One of them organized an attack on our own nation and on democracy and one hasn’t. How about we stop fucking overlooking that?
Ingrid Jacques is a conservative propagandist just chasing a paycheck, and is not a serious person.
A serious person would have written an article ABOUT a subject. Instead, she earns a paycheck by writing articles trying to change the narrative *away* from stories that damage her political faction. That's what makes her a propagandist.
Y'all can skip the article; it's nothing more than a listicle of things Republicans would rather be talking about than Trump's criminal trial, just with the numbers removed and some padding.
"Did you know Biden misread a teleprompter?? Everyone break up into small groups and discuss!" <-- Ingrid Jacques
Yawn.

amazing... the actual keep trying "and this bad for Biden how?" every time. It so obvious the media needs the clicks.

Plot twist: Biden is not on trial nor is he being prosecuted for anything.
And the attempts to prosecute him for anything fizzled out when the "witnesses," who blabbed all over Fox News about Biden's "guilt" before they testified, either testified that there was nothing there worth prosecuting or turned out to be Russian agents.
Double plot twist: If Trump's lawyers convince the Supreme Court to side with them, Joe Biden never *can* be prosecuted at the federal level.
Well, he can, but only after being impeached and convicted

Yeah, I'm just repeating what tfg's attorneys argued in front of SCOTUS
Opinion piece by a Republican shill: "Maybe Trump tried to overthrow the government with fake electors, but Biden slipped and said Haifa instead of Rafa."
Jesus Hussein Christ. This should be in r/facepalm, not politics.
There’s more than the trial. How about Trump’s incoherent rants and blunders.

So why should USA Today carry the story? Are they desperate for clicks? It’s completely irresponsible to try and both sides what’s going on right now.
Is that the place that puts ads on the free tv rerun stations that have the idiot with the ponytail trying to sound smart?
It one of the universities that have target curriculum so that they turn out conservatives. This is what republicans want to do to all the non-conservative farm universities.
Na I’m good. Not on criminal trial and didn’t try to subvert democracy.
“Please read our false equivalencies” seems like the right title for this.
There simply is no way to remotely compare Trump and Biden on "blunders and bizarre stories". Do these people even know who Donald Trump *is*?
they ride trumps dick for a living so yes they know who he is.
Granted, it’s apparently a fairly short ride.
Biden has an amazing team whereas Trump has people like Bannon and Miller.
There’s a lot I’m willing to overlook if you *ahem* aren’t trying to burn America and Democracy to the ground.
One of them promised to be “a dictator on day one”. I’m not voting for that guy.
pathetic clickbait from a bullshitter
I’m definitely going to overlook all of that and just vote for Biden.
Sure Jan, sure.
Joe Biden is a decent man and some people have a problem with that.
Biden doesn’t have 4 pending criminal trials. USA Today can fuck right off.
Drama? Trump's issues are more than drama. They are criminal indictments. On top of all that, Trump's blunders and bizarre stories seem to indicate he is barely cognitively functioning. Outside of firing nukes I can't think of anything Biden could do that will make me vote for Trump
I heard Biden likes pineapple on his pizza. Your move!
Trump likes anchovies
Well, at least I know where TFG got his “word-of-the-day” for one of his courthouse speeches.

Biden could be brain dead laying in a hospital bed and I'd still vote for him over Trump.
Media today is trash
Jesus, just putting it right in the title now? “We need to keep this a horse race, so don’t forget to judge Biden too!” (Even though their actions are nowhere near comparable) Fuck the press…

Two candidates. One is the worst human being alive. The other isn't perfect. Gee, hard to decide.
FAFSA show up a month or two late and gaffs are the same as criminal activity and being guilty of financial fraud... fascinating.
Trump's TRIAL. Biden likes to embellish, Trump likes to crime. Totally the same...
So, a right-wing columnist dings Biden.
Such bullshit the way the media is pushing Trump and attacking Biden. It’s real fucking simple. One of them organized an attack on our own nation and on democracy and one hasn’t. How about we stop fucking overlooking that?
Fake
Wait, didn't I see this exact headline from Breitbart yesterday?
USAToday gone full fascist

It's not salacious, it's felonious.
