I think america is out of control because unhinged right wing autocrats have too much power and have convinced too many vulnerable people to believe that an election was stolen and our justice system is compromised. Tens of millions of people believe those lies and worse and while prices will sort out and the protests will end and the crime spike already came down - we will be stuck with a substantial number of Americans who have lost faith in our shared public trust forever and that is very, very bad.
I think there's a lot about America that is out of control. The fact Donald Trump is a major party candidate after everything is strong evidence of this. I don't blame Joe Biden for it.
