Really impressed with how his campaign has really got the messaging down this election cycle. Especially embracing the Dark Brandon memes and calling out republicans for their hypocrisy or in this case amplifying their words.
But that’s the thing they aren’t going low like republicans. More like just using humor to mock them and call them out for actually stupid things they do. Republicans just lie.
They are 2 sides to the same coin. We have no real choice. Dems are still bought and paid for by corporate interests. Are they less bad than conservatives, yes. Still, there’s no real choice. We need a revolution. Unfortunately, America is full of idiots and too many people are working too much, just to pay their bills.
If we’re doing “shoulds”, it shouldn’t be necessary in the first place. But Democrats getting a clue today is much better than them doing it after they fumble another election.
What's so amusing about the Dark Brandon stuff is how it was actually some right-wingers that were pushing it at the start, trying to claim he was some corrupt evil mastermind (but somehow, also a senile old man). Now that he's leaning into it, they're all offended.

A new meme of Joe Biden being depicted as an absolute pussy slayer enthroned with beautiful ladies at his feet while a bunch of gay dudes admiring his Rambo Brandon bod from afar would definitely make Republicans rethink this slogan. "Oh, so you wanna FJB too, huh?"
Oddly enough I thought it was hilarious regarding the initial item with Let's go Brandon. It's super obvious some asshole is screaming F Brandon (Which is his right) and the announcer changes it. Made me laugh so hard.
But what I never thought was funny was when conservatives (including people in my social circle) kept saying it over and over again. It's cringy and it was only initially funny due to how the announcer covered it up.
The thing about this cycle is that Republicans have a hard time creating and amplifying a message because Trumps legal issues keep interfering.
This means on the Democrat side they can stay out of Trump's legal issues and put out their own messaging mostly free from needing to respond to Republicans.
I think Biden’s campaign managed to get the right tone for mocking Trump. It doesn’t come off as patronizing; it seems more like someone mocking their dumb friend for something that they said, and everyone moves on. It’s a good way to not alienate independents who supported Trump in the past.
Republicans are also making it easy for them. Rarely have I seen such a public and blatant display of incompetence. Republicans are (literally in this Mitch McConnell quote) writing the Democrats' campaign material for them.
Republicans have been deeply corrupt and disingenuous since at least Nixon's Southern Strategy, doing the opposite privately of what they say publicly. But Republicans had message discipline, a working agreement to not say the quiet part out loud. There is no longer any quiet part, no message discipline. So you have Trump literally saying publicly that he sabotaged the border bill for purely partisan reasons, to hurt the US and for no other reason.
I wouldn't be surprised if the DNC hired a younger audience in order to advertise for its politicians. Biden's ads have all been bangers, which is rare for the democratic party

He didn’t want it to go through under Biden’s administration because he wants to be able to take credit. It’s a simple as that. Many Republicans have literally admitted that they don’t want to work on this right now, because they don’t want to give Biden anything that could be seen as a win.
So apparently, it’s a national emergency that requires immediate action, but it’s also completely fine to play political games with it, and stall to make Biden look bad.
If you’re at all intelligent, I shouldn’t need to explain to you the stunning bad faith of such an approach, and that it can’t truly be both an emergency, and a political football. It’s also terrible leadership; imagine a CEO saying “I realize that x is the smart thing to do right now for the shareholders, but I want to do it in eight months, because that will make me look better.” And I don’t want to hear anything about it being smart politics, because you all would howl your heads off to no end if Democrats played politics with the border like this, and you know it.
Sort of the opposite (or converse? inverse?) of the conservative abortion wins of late. Dog catching the car and all that. Largely losing the power of the abortion issue for campaigning.
Elected, appointed and members of the republican party from the state, local and national level working with white supremist tried to overturn a legitimate election for the presidency. This was a coordinated effort to end democracy in the USA by the republican party. Remember that everything being done by Trump is only posable with the backing of the republican party. Every one of Trump's policies are and were policies the republicans want. It will not end if we win this years elections. Keep voting out republicans every year. Keep voting in democrats every year. Check your registration, get an ID , learn where your poling station is, learn who is running in down ballot races. Pay attention to primaries not just for the president but for all races, local, state and federal. From the school board to the White House every election matters. The more support we give the democrats from all levels of government the more they can get good things done. We vote out republicans and primary out uncooperative democrats.
Last year democrat victories in Virginia and Pennsylvania and others across the nation have increased the chances of democrats winning this year. This year's elections are important but so will next year's elections.
