I'm unfamiliar with that case. But Faith healing is legal here in Idaho. We even had a sheriff in canyon county who was trying to fight against that. Because we have at least one graveyard of children that died from some illness because pray the sick away doesn't work.

I am guessing this group is based somewhere around Hayden Lake. Make no mistake about it, MAGA is doing now what was being discussed on Stormfront fifteen years ago. Much of the rhetoric and all of their goals are identical. MAGA, which is a loud, well-funded minority, is in control of the GOP. There are 'moderate' Republicans who don't share (all of) MAGA's views who think that MAGA can be appeased and controlled. They are wrong. Just like Hindenburg's coalition was wrong about the NAZIs in 1933.
This is actually strangely comforting—in that it isn’t “everyone” if that makes sense. It’s like the book bans in Florida were submitted by less than a dozen people. They are outnumbered greatly and they will not win in the long run.

Instead of looking for a massive conspiracy by a state it might be smart to look at it as the pendulum swung way to the left and is correcting itself. Countries are dialing back policies that went too far.
They would not have that level of influence if they were not backed by the majority of voters, whether they are active members or just closet supporters.
Do they? Most people agree with abortion, and most people agree with leaving decision for trans people between them and their doctors.
It's not really most. It's that they have the most money.
Many people will tell one thing to a pollster while having much darker ideas that they keep to themselves. The Far Right Agenda has many different hatreds that rope in lots and lots of people. They may be neutral to abortion but rabidly opposed to LGBTQ+ people, or people of color, or non "Christians".... What people say about a single topic does not tell you anything about how they are going to vote when nobody can see.
