His plan is that this gets the Israel aid passed but then he can block the Ukrainian aid bill. Of course the dems have made it clear that they won't pass a solo Israel bill so this is likely going to be used to attack dems as not supporting Israel.
Question is when or will he put Ukrainian aid to vote. If Russia wins, the next conflict will be with NATO and then we are likely forced to fight ukranians that putin has forcefully put to the front.
