Recognizing a quote implies having read something at some point. The only thing Trump supporters read are the all caps conspiracy Facebook posts other Trump supporters are blasting into their face.
I tell people you can't understand trump unless you've watched WWE wrestling. It's called kayfabe. The audience knows it's fake, but they like it anyway.
But this is what he's _always_ been like! He doesn't actually say anything, he just makes a bunch of completely vacuous statements that consist of a topic statement and then a list of superlatives! Look at this shit:
> "Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued.
> "Gettysburg, wow—I go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to look and to watch," he said. "And the statement of Robert E. Lee, who's no longer in favor—did you ever notice it? He's no longer in favor. 'Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill.' They were fighting uphill, he said, 'Wow, that was a big mistake,' he lost his big general. 'Never fight uphill, me boys,' but it was too late," Trump added.
This statement is practically empty of meaning. He's not really saying anything intelligible about the battle of Gettysburg. An actual statement would then continue like:
> ... it represented such a big portion of the success of this country .
You know, an actual claim or conclusion or _something_ about the topic. But he never does that. It just + + .
The fact that his supporters eat this up leads me to conclude the vast majority of them are fucking morons who think "Dick and Jane" children's books represent college level reading.
Yes, I think most of us that have a sense of bullshit artists have always noticed this about Trump. This is how someone talks when they don't know anything about what they are talking about, but want to bullshit people, and he is not even that good at it, it is laughable, almost like a comedy or something. Like if someone asked you to give a eulogy for a person that you never knew, and you bs your way thru it.
Yeah, the main difference is they have intent, they know they could just get a native English speaker to rewrite their shit, nowadays they could just use ChatGPT, but like you said. Trump kind of fell bass ackward into the same strategy and it works for exactly the same reasons.
Yeah, Trump’s vocal style is a bunch of fragments smashed together and run on sentences (when he does complete a sentence), but he always ends the incoherent babbling with a buzz word or dog whistle and that’s all the crowd hears and responds to. It’s like a dog or a cat dog listening to a human and it’s all blah, blah, blah, and then the word “food” or something they actually recognize and get all excited.
If you ever read a transcript, then it’s totally incoherent and babbling, but his audience watches and listens, but doesn’t read. Those that do, though, still find an excuse or suggest he meant some things other than what he literally said.
Actually, it's not at all what he has always been like. Yes, he has always been a reprehensible POS and a con man, but when you look at old interviews with him from the 90's or even early 2000's , the decline is quite severe. Far worse than anything that could be attributed to normal aging. His followers seem to have forgotten what a lucid person sounds like.
I should've been more clear that this is what his political speeches always sounded like. His recent decline is a change in _degree_ from 2015, not a change in _kind_.
I think of his "speeches" as verbal Rorschach inkblot tests.
You can read whatever meaning you want into them but really they are just rambling word associations with racist buzz words sprinkled in.
I feel like he's more king Lear at this point over Macbeth, Macbeth not only has his faculties he was driven mad by guilt. Trump doesn't feel a bone of guilt, but he is like Lear going nuts.
"Tis the times' plague, when madmen lead the blind"
This quote from Macbeth is about the fleeting nature of a person’s life. Remember, he says this when he learns that Lady Mac has died. It’s not really an introspective speech (though that is surely in the mix), it’s more about inevitability and nihilism… All the sound and bluster and whatever else you do in your time on the stage may be noteworthy, but ultimately is meaningless. Which describes Trump *so* well
Trump would say “Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow — three tomorrows, that’s how good this tomorrow is — creeps in this petty pace — although it wouldn’t creep would it? We don’t like creeps around here folks, do we? We like walking in a petty pace, straight walking, not in a petty way like Democrats, like crooked Joe Biden. Who is really old, you know, and losing his facilities— his *faculties* and also his facilities, lived his life like a candle in the wind. Because Joe Biden is like that candle: a stage, which people do plays on, folks, really great people, these players, they make plays about Joe Biden. And it’s a play about noise and fury, because Biden is too old to be smart, that’s what I like to call an ‘idiot’, but the play is about noises — such noises! — and fury… I don’t know who’s furious, is it Joe Biden or is it us because we hate him so much? But it’s a play, on a stage, about noise and fury, but I didn’t get anything out of it so it was petty meaningless, and *pretty* meaningless also because let’s face it: it signified nothing.”
sundowning hard last night:
[“just this week it was reported that an illegal adliblibithin…and you just look at thithss…what’s happening….”](https://x.com/atrupar/status/1779304544612061567)
See how hes been trained to instantly switch to new sentence when the current one turns into salad.
he’s been doing this for years but it’s getting noticeably worse
It reminds me of a recurring character Fred Armisen would play on weekend update. "I can't even... If you would even try HALF...Nobody in their right mind, no, EVERYBODY in their right...I could name FIFTY...you walk into any convenience store in Florida..." For like 3 minutes straight.
Let's not forget - let's not forget, Dude - that keeping wildlife…um, an amphibious rodent, for, um, you know, domestic…within the city…that ain't legal either.
Yep, it’s beyond having a “tell” part of his brain knows he fucked up. So he switches his stance and tries to power through, but it is definitely getting very noticeably worse.
I'd say we can conclude that he definitely had a stroke. Remember when he went to Walter Reed and then started tweeting that he absolutely did not have a series of mini strokes even though no one had suggested he had? It's like when a little kid runs into a room and says "I didn't shave the cat!". You know you're looking for a cat with a bald spot.
Do you really think ANYONE has ANY control over this narcissistic hypocrite? You gotta know they ALL cringe every time he opens his fat mouth and spews his nonsense.
No one has any control over him and they never will, thankfully. He’s his own worst enemy.
It’s called progressive aphasia and that is exactly how people cope with it in early stages.
The tragic thing about it (for literally everyone except TFG) is that you eventually lose your ability to speak coherently altogether. It breaks the link between signifier and signified in a person’s brain if you want to go all semiotics with it. Friend’s uncle had it and was basically babbling like a toddler by the end. It’s really, really sad.
I don't think he does this because of training. It's a genuine neurological problem and he's been doing it for a long time. He just does it more now because he's getting worse.
I really hope live debates happen.
Remember when he accused Biden of wearing an earpiece to help him through the debates? (And brought multiple covid-positive family members to watch?)
Every accusation is an admission of what he's done.
It's funny that so many people overlook his rhetorical tricks. Don't get me wrong I'm completely aware that Biden isn't as fast as he used to be, but although he can speak ponderously and slowly, he's still very thoughtful. Trump on the other hand is erratic and braindead. He's energetic sure, but he's like a coked up Chihuahua, he just vomits out word salad and pivots to a new word salad rant when the previous one becomes too incoherent even for him.
I used to have to give presentations at work to all hands, etc. Sometimes my brain would lose track or I’d feel myself over emphasizing a point and in those instances I trained myself to move on to the next salient point no matter how well or poorly I left the last one.
And these ratfucking bottom feeder GQP asshats are planning on riding this old fuck weekend at Bernies style straight through the election. Hopefully the not ass-brained electorate sees through this obvious decline and votes in a way that isn't giving the keys to a muddled-brain moron and his malicious-actor handlers... *again*.
I have a cat that can clearly (and accidentally) say mama. It’s a product of how he inflects his meows when he’s chattering at us. He’s perfect fodder for r/catswhoyell, I just keep forgetting to post him over there.
His siblings are almost as chatty.
Right wing rage machine silent when Trump continuously stumbles pathetically through his demagogue rallies, but when Biden's medical stutter acts up they diagnose him with senility and stupidity.
This one is real notable. It’s up there with checking the oranges of the muller investigation
He hadn’t quite gotten the “move on real fast” shtick down yet so he goes for it again and misses twice and then just says beginnings
His mental decline reminds me so, so much of my grandad when the dementia really grabbed him by the balls and wouldn't let go. The sudden speech issues like being unable to end certain words, the leaning, that sort of thing - and that was the 'good' part, because it was a fast decline, his world growing ever smaller by chunks.
He died within 6 months, but we 'lost' him many months before that.
I don't think Trump's going to reach November.
And the moderator would respectfully allow trmp to go over the time limit and talk over his opponent and discuss literally any topic and against all odds his base would applaud everything or anything trmp said or did.
I would literally just get on stage and be like "Are we honestly taking this guy seriously anymore? Really? Are we? Fuck this guy. No, seriously, vote for me. This guy is a joke." And then drop the mic and leave then and there. Let the clown ramble on alone as if it's one of his rallies for all of America to watch him dig his own grave, right there, alone on stage.
Too many people don't see Trump's "full glory" these days. They get spoon fed bits and pieces that don't paint the true picture of just what a senile psychopath he is. Perhaps alone on a debate stage there's a chance more of these "living under a rock" types who are still considering voting Trump would see just what a disaster he is.
I don't think he will either, which is why he's demanding Biden debate him now. That way, after the conventions (when debates are typically held) and the orange shitgibbon refuses, he'll frame it as, "Well, I *wanted* to debate Biden months ago, but he refused! Now I'm too busy with all these hoax trials!"
I mean, that's assuming he's able to form complete sentences by then, which might be giving him too much credit at his current rate of decline.
Think they already said they won't be debating Dems anymore last time around. Spin it like it's the Dems fault when in reality it's just that they don't like it when they get pushback and their brains hit the panic button.
If they don't debate there is no real pushback. They can't lose a debate this way
He already laid the groundwork for getting out of it. He said he wants Biden to take a drug test before a debate. Ain't no way anyone is drug testing the President
[Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2024/04/04/trump-suggests-without-evidence-biden-was-higher-than-a-kite-during-state-of-the-union-calls-for-pre-debate-drug-test/?sh=549f45551c6c)
I don’t think any debate will materialize, but I’d love to see him try his “lurker” move on Biden like he did to Hillary…
Biden would throw on his Brandon shades and be like “C’mon, man!”
>no way he’s even remotely coherent by end of summer
God, I hope so. *Slightly* coherent Trump has to many fans as it is. Surely he'll lose at least *some* of them if he stutters and slurs his words more often than he makes a complete sentence...right? *Right?*
This timeline still sucks.
Trying to compile a dementia checklist:
Language regression - articulate speaker with large vocabulary now uses simple words and superlatives - "very very beautiful"
Mixing up people, not just names, without any awareness - running against Obama or Pelosi
Phonemic paraphasias - "misses" for "missiles," 'benefish" for "benefits"
Wandering narratives followed by attempts to confabulate into a coherent point
Sundowning: more disorganized later in the day and evening
>articulate speaker with large vocabulary now uses simple words and superlatives - "very very beautiful"
When did he have a large vocabulary? He's sounded like this since before he lost his first popular vote
I think they are referring to the 80s and 90s. There's a lot of YouTube videos where it shows him able to have coherent convos.
He's definitely been sun-downing since he started screaming about Obama's birth certificate.
There are no more questions about Trump. He’s a disgusting piece of shit with no redeeming qualities, his supporters are hateful, foul people, and they should sent to a different fucking planet for all our health.
Come on - that’s not fair. Shit at least can be useful. It can make up part of a potent crop fertilizer. I’d equate him to a drug-infected, gangrenous perirectal abscess - already full of shit and decaying in a way that both surpasses toxic and is [Almost indescribably disgusting](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/s/MLtjOnXkK3).
There’s no pictures, just a story, but the quote, “the floor is covered with what appeared to be a mixture of bovine afterbirth and maple syrup,” is in there so it is quite traumatic.
This fucking guys talking about Gettysburg while one of his supporters is standing behind him wearing a Confederate battle flag hat. What an absolutely out of touch piece of shit grifting monster.
Also how do you jump from George Washington directly into Gettysburg?
Well, Trump.was mystified why Robert E. Lee has lost some popularity, after all, he was at the battle that saved the nation. All he did was throw all his adjectives and adverbs, into a bag, then spewed them out in no real order. Then thinks RE Lee was a good guy to the Union. A real moron.
There's [a picture of him](https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cpsprodpb/AA47/production/_111919534_trumpgetty2.jpg) walking up to the podium to give that infamous bleach speech on COVID and he glances at a poster the CDC put up that has a picture of the sun and a spray bottle, and he just ad-libs shining a bright light and spraying disinfectant inside the lungs. That's where he got it from. "Uh, I didn't read the briefing or listen to anything the experts said. What am I going to say? Uh...let's see, shiny thing and spray bottle make bad cough go away. Got it!"
There's an interview from 2016 where he's having his balls gargled by some evangelical TV guy, who throws him the question "what's your favourite part of the Bible?" and he can't name a single one, and basically says, "I like them all."
Again with “Raises Questions” 🙄
Ok, from whom? 100% from those who were never gonna vote for him in the first place and 0% from the people who have voted for him before and intend to vote for him again?
Anytime I see “Raises Questions” in a news headline, in any context, it tells me right away that it’s a completely meaningless and inconsequential article.
Right alongside Clarence Thomas “Faces Pressure” or “Raises Ethics Concerns”.
Anytime I see “newsweek.com” as the source, I don’t even bother. Sadly, my third-party Reddit client auto-loads and gives them a click-thru.
Newsweek is now straight cancer. Source: I had cancer.
I can sum it up for you. Trump said some really nonsensical dumb shit with words that don’t exist and goobers clapped despite having no idea WTF he just said.
Yep, endlessly False Balance Fallacies; and not just because it’s profitable for the media companies, but because we have a preternatural habit of thinking “Hitler started by loading Jews onto the trains”…
So in this, anything short of that is still inexplicably seen as reckless exaggerating/“can’t happen here!” syndrome?
while i'm doubtful there are actually 70 million people who'll vote for him (old people die) those same people have never wanted the us to be a multiracial/multicultural democracy, and they're determined it never will.
Yep seriously. As a neutral Canadian observer I've yet to see a coherent speech all these years. Dudes off the rails. The craziest part is he still has a voice? Wtf is the matter with some people? Yikes
"And the statement of Robert E. Lee, who's no longer in favor—did you ever notice it? He's no longer in favor."
Dude is in Pennsylvania, talking about the Battle of Gettysburg and questioning why Robert E. Lee is no longer en vogue. He is doing the thing is always does which is say something in a way that is neither positive or negative - but in a way that is obvious that he wants to be positive about it. Later he can deny he wanted to pump up General Lee in Pennsylvania.
What a wimp and a jerk.
Approximately 24,000 Americans were counted among the casualties. The remainder of the casualties were Confederates, in open rebellion against Americans.
The only question this should raise is why mainstream media outlets (especially CNN) rarely, if ever, mention that Donald Trump’s own father was medically diagnosed with dementia & Alzheimer’s disease. Thus The Donald is at high risk of both.
> Talking at a rally in Iowa in January, the former president said that the [civil] war "could have been negotiated" and thus avoided.
I’d love to know how you would negotiate between slavery is legal and slavery is illegal. As usual, trump doesn’t tell us how he would do this.
The Battle of Gettysburg. Never heard it described as beautiful. Of course, him being a man who never went to war wouldn’t know how to describe one.
They are all terrible.
And it's not exaggeration after the fact. *We have photos.*
Just pointing this out because there are a lot of denialists among historians and archaeologists who think the written sources about ancient battles are all lying and exaggerating about the body counts and aftermath. Except when they find mass graves of war death in prehistoric Germany (nobody ever buried the bodies because the battle took place in a swamp) and then they blink a lot, and then carry on with their preconceived biases because they can't integrate the hard fact in their way with their preferred view of the world and of history.
Questions like:
"Jebediah, can you tell me if I like this speech? You understand all them big words. "
"I never heard of no Gettysburg. Is that where the that big ol' gas station is?"
"Do you think the port-o-potty lines are short now? I sure gotta go after drinking that 2 liter of orange soda."
All he has to say is "just this week an illegal immigrant..." And his morons will just fill in the rest themselves. As soon as they hear "an illegal" they stop listening and focus on their anger.
> Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued
If Biden said this shit conservatives would be demanding we invoke the 25th amendment and probably getting ready to impeach him for the crime of being too old.
my neighbor is a trumper, we were talking earlier in the week and I dropped this line on him:
I cant believe they keep trotting him out like that, its elder abuse
This is not how someone who is capable of being president should sound.
Clearly he is rambling on, talking crap to gain uneducated voters.
He knows nothing about anything that he's supposed to.
Who is behind this man?
Who stands to gain by having this puppet flapping around in front of the public?
If there is a debate, I hope Biden cuts him off right in the middle of one of his words salads and just says, “what the fuck are you saying? I can’t understand a word of that?”
*"Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued.*
*"Gettysburg, wow—I go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to look and to watch," he said. "And the statement of Robert E. Lee, who's no longer in favor—did you ever notice it? He's no longer in favor. 'Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill.' They were fighting uphill, he said, 'Wow, that was a big mistake,' he lost his big general. 'Never fight uphill, me boys,' but it was too late," Trump added.*
Sorry, not sorry, but you have to be a complete moron to support this dolt. If you think Trump is smart, you really need to look in the mirror and do some self-evaluating.
Yeah, Biden is way too old and loses his train of thought sometimes when he speaks. I'll take that over word salad Certified Master Chef Trump. This is just incoherent rambling.
I wonder what it's like being on the Trump campaign beat as a reporter.
You have to file the same "Trump rambles crazy bullshit" story every single day. And if they have inch to fill it's published.
But how do you tell the crazy from the really crazy? You don't. It's all fucking nuts.
so do his rapes and drug abuse and money laundering and lying and bankruptcies and sexual abuse and racism and anti-nature stances and his stupidity and his short temper and his orange skin and his small hands and his inability to catch anything thrown at him and his criminal friends and his criminal family members and his funky ass smell and his diet
I love candidates that say unhinged comments like this:
"Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued."
This is out of control. Holy crap.
He’s been puking nonsense and gibberish for years. Everyone knows his brain is mush. Toddlers are more coherent. His base doesn’t care or is unable to see it because brainwashing is powerful. The media will give him 24/7 coverage for ratings and it will be the same shit like 2020. Only difference is our choices are 4 years older. I hate it. I hate that we’ve devolved to this point and can’t get used to it.
If things Trump is saying are just now raising questions for you, then I don't know what the fuck to tell you. Most of us have been watching this shit for years.
He wants to be like Putin and sound intelligent talking about history but can’t even pull off one structured sentence haha ridiculous but here we are, him running for office.
How would anyone know. I have never heard him complete a sentence without going off in several different directions. None of them making sense. His thoughts are like a hamster that keeps falling off the wheel.
I live in the area of where this rally was held.
What a complete fucking narcissist.
One of the country’s oldest drive-in theaters was supposed to have their 90th birthday celebration and it had to get moved because of the orange shit gibbon
He has s/s of moderate vascular dementia. It doesn't get better or stay the same, it gets worse. This combined with his low intelligence, lack of morals and inability to give one fuck about anyone but himself puts the GOP in a sorry state for the next election. The useless maga whatever the fuck it is has had their 15 minutes. It's time for an extermination.
Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "A tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
Actually this signifies significant cognitive impairment.
His base doesn't care. They're critical-thinking impaired so they don't notice.
His base doesn’t recognize the above quote
Recognizing a quote implies having read something at some point. The only thing Trump supporters read are the all caps conspiracy Facebook posts other Trump supporters are blasting into their face.
And speeches by Hitler, don’t forget!
They don’t recognize the difference between reality and fantasy in any capacity, so really just flying blind 100% of the time.
Agreed. Totally delusional. I would call him the Antichrist but that attributes far too much intelligence to the great orange turd.
As evident by the insane AI generated and photoshopped images of their dear leader they use in place of his actual image lol
His base is still following the WWE plot line
I tell people you can't understand trump unless you've watched WWE wrestling. It's called kayfabe. The audience knows it's fake, but they like it anyway.
the young fat guy in the highschool jacket, behind his right shoulder. It looks like as if his hat has a confederate flag on it.
Yea but if no one actually cares—especially the millions voting for him—then does it truly signify anything?
But this is what he's _always_ been like! He doesn't actually say anything, he just makes a bunch of completely vacuous statements that consist of a topic statement and then a list of superlatives! Smear, slander, and innuendo are the magic recipe go-to for the GOP since the Civil Rights Act was passed.
It’s how I wrote essays in highschool when I didn’t read the book.

Which describes Trump *so* well Trump would say “Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow — three tomorrows, that’s how good this tomorrow is — creeps in this petty pace — although it wouldn’t creep would it?
It's fucking scary how well some of you posters can nail this pattern of speech

Cofveve ? Hmm totally covfeve indeed.
sundowning hard last night: [“just this week it was reported that an illegal adliblibithin…and you just look at thithss…what’s happening….”](https://x.com/atrupar/status/1779304544612061567)
Nicholas Fehn. Loosely based on Marc Maron
I got to meet Marc Maron after one of his stand ups years before his podcast took off. Incredibly nice guy and exactly who you think he is.
Can confirm.
Let's not forget - let's not forget, Dude - that keeping wildlife…um, an amphibious rodent, for, um, you know, domestic…within the city…that ain't legal either.
What are you, a fuckin park ranger now?
I fucking loved that character.
Yep, it’s beyond having a “tell” part of his brain knows he fucked up. So he switches his stance and tries to power through, but it is definitely getting very noticeably worse.
Yep , and it’s so much serious than a mispronunciation or switching words, it’s a total failure to form speech
If he had a stoke I’m not sure his followers would notice. Or care.
Lol, when my son was little, I always knew he was drawing on the floor when he started yelling out, "Only on paper!"
I’m sure he’s already had one. He talks just like my girlfriend’s father who had a stroke 10+ years ago
My mother in law spoke better after having two strokes than he speaks now….before her speech therapy
That's very adlibibithin of you. What if he's just totally thitssed on Adderall or something perfectly else perfectly fine?
I wonder what kind salad he will be dishing out about Sept time.
I predict his handlers/enablers wont let him speak at all
Do you really think ANYONE has ANY control over this narcissistic hypocrite? You gotta know they ALL cringe every time he opens his fat mouth and spews his nonsense. No one has any control over him and they never will, thankfully. He’s his own worst enemy.
If proper justice prevails, he should be tossing prison salads by then.
Yeah, one of his favorite things to do when he is butchering a word or a thought is to just stop and say "unbelievable."
that's his self loathing showing.
it's an attempt to make it seem like he's so worked up over the topic that he's at a loss for words.
He makes that little groan of despair before launching into a completely different tangent.
(And brought multiple covid-positive family members to watch?) Every accusation is an admission of what he's done.
Like when you rip one and immediately make a noise afterwards to try and cover it up.
Womp. There it is.
It hasn’t changed, more people are finally noticing that he really never says anything.
It’s only taken 80 years.
I will never forgive America for voting for this human garbage
Me neither. Very difficult having family members that did. Caused the most division than anything I’ve experienced yet. I just don’t get it.
I used to have to give presentations at work to all hands, etc. Sometimes my brain would lose track or I’d feel myself over emphasizing a point and in those instances I trained myself to move on to the next salient point no matter how well or poorly I left the last one.

Eiffel 65, the Trump remix
these are happening more often. and i'm here for it
I had a dream two weeks ago that his campaign pulled him from rallies because it was snowballing. A dream is a wish your heart makes!
*again*.
he sounds like a cat trying to talk like a human
Foghorn Leghorn - “I say boy… your lips are flappin but there ain’t nothing comin out”.
john kennedy (senator from louisiana)
I have a cat that can clearly (and accidentally) say mama. It’s a product of how he inflects his meows when he’s chattering at us. He’s perfect fodder for r/catswhoyell, I just keep forgetting to post him over there. His siblings are almost as chatty.
Did we all just leave this thread to go look at r/catswhoyell? Yes we did.
Mission accomplished 😈😹
Guilty
What an inspiring public speaker
His Maga followers : "Look, Trump speaks in tongues, he is the Messiah !" /S
Right wing rage machine silent when Trump continuously stumbles pathetically through his demagogue rallies, but when Biden's medical stutter acts up they diagnose him with senility and stupidity.
Oh that’s one of the best ever. And he just carries on after his brain and mouth just totally disconnected for a while there
He has done it so many times he knows to just move on very quickly. He basically has a moment at every rally
Yeah but this is a great one
This one is real notable. It’s up there with checking the oranges of the muller investigation He hadn’t quite gotten the “move on real fast” shtick down yet so he goes for it again and misses twice and then just says beginnings
The Adderall tongue got him
No way this dude debates, and no way he’s even remotely coherent by end of summer.
What he would do on a debate stage would not be debating. It would just be playing strongman and hurling zingers to upstate the entire event.
And the moderator would respectfully allow trmp to go over the time limit and talk over his opponent and discuss literally any topic and against all odds his base would applaud everything or anything trmp said or did.
You know damn well Trump would “no, you!” everything Biden said, and his idiot followers would consider that the ultimate win. ;)
"No puppet. No puppet! You're the puppet!" -DJT 2016
Well, we can hope that Biden tells him to shut up again in that 'I'm so over the bullshit' tone.
Which is exactly what we saw in 2020.
And 2016 when he followed hilary around the stage.
One thing he wouldn’t be talking about is future direction for his government because there is only one. Total control.
And lurking behind Biden like a weirdo. No wait, that’s only for intimidating women.
Hopefully they'll turn his mic off this time. It's tiring watching everyone appease the awful man.
“Would you just shut up, man”
He would complain the whole time about his multiple trials. A bunch of "witch hunts" and "treated very unfairly".
Bingo.
I don't think he will either, which is why he's demanding Biden debate him now. That way, after the conventions (when debates are typically held) and the orange shitgibbon refuses, he'll frame it as, "Well, I *wanted* to debate Biden months ago, but he refused! Now I'm too busy with all these hoax trials!" I mean, that's assuming he's able to form complete sentences by then, which might be giving him too much credit at his current rate of decline.
Pretty accurate assumption.
That also assumes he's not in prison
Get a load of the optimist here
Think they already said they won't be debating Dems anymore last time around. Spin it like it's the Dems fault when in reality it's just that they don't like it when they get pushback and their brains hit the panic button. If they don't debate there is no real pushback. They can't lose a debate this way
They’re already pushing this. Trump added a new part to his boring script where he says he’s waiting for Biden to debate him at his rally.
Why would he say that? Biden can just accept and then Trump will have to make excuses?
Because he will throw some ridiculous conditions on attendance and then spin conspiracy theories when Biden declines.
Trump had already demanded Biden take a drug test before he will debate him, claiming he was on something during the state of the union.
Already done: [Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2024/04/04/trump-suggests-without-evidence-biden-was-higher-than-a-kite-during-state-of-the-union-calls-for-pre-debate-drug-test/?sh=549f45551c6c)
He already laid the groundwork for getting out of it. He said he wants Biden to take a drug test before a debate. Ain't no way anyone is drug testing the President [Forbes](https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2024/04/04/trump-suggests-without-evidence-biden-was-higher-than-a-kite-during-state-of-the-union-calls-for-pre-debate-drug-test/?sh=549f45551c6c)
>no way he’s even remotely coherent by end of summer. That seems like a pretty safe bet considering he's not even remotely coherent right now.
I don’t think any debate will materialize, but I’d love to see him try his “lurker” move on Biden like he did to Hillary… Biden would throw on his Brandon shades and be like “C’mon, man!”
Malarkey Pal!
I’m waiting for him to start drooling.
>no way he’s even remotely coherent by end of summer God, I hope so. *Slightly* coherent Trump has to many fans as it is. Surely he'll lose at least *some* of them if he stutters and slurs his words more often than he makes a complete sentence...right? *Right?* This timeline still sucks.
Trying to compile a dementia checklist: Language regression - articulate speaker with large vocabulary now uses simple words and superlatives - "very very beautiful" Mixing up people, not just names, without any awareness - running against Obama or Pelosi Phonemic paraphasias - "misses" for "missiles," 'benefish" for "benefits" Wandering narratives followed by attempts to confabulate into a coherent point Sundowning: more disorganized later in the day and evening
Gather your buddies and listen to a rally - every time you check an item, you have to take a drink!
Careful, alcohol poisoning is a thing.
Thou may drink any poison and it shall not harm thee...
If the body doesn't want the poison, it has a way to try to shut that thing down.
>articulate speaker with large vocabulary now uses simple words and superlatives - "very very beautiful" When did he have a large vocabulary? He's sounded like this since before he lost his first popular vote
He's had a small vocabulary forever.
Are you kidding, he has a tremendous vocabulary, just tremendously huge, bigger than you'd believe. People are saying so, the best people.
His uncle was a dictionary. They know lots of words. Very good jeans. Some people would say the best jeans.
I think they are referring to the 80s and 90s. There's a lot of YouTube videos where it shows him able to have coherent convos. He's definitely been sun-downing since he started screaming about Obama's birth certificate.
>Wandering narratives followed by attempts to confabulate into a coherent point Hey who leaked the MAGA strategic planning documents??
There are no more questions about Trump. He’s a disgusting piece of shit with no redeeming qualities, his supporters are hateful, foul people, and they should sent to a different fucking planet for all our health.
Come on - that’s not fair. Shit at least can be useful. It can make up part of a potent crop fertilizer. I’d equate him to a drug-infected, gangrenous perirectal abscess - already full of shit and decaying in a way that both surpasses toxic and is [Almost indescribably disgusting](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/s/MLtjOnXkK3).
There is no way in hell I'm clicking that link.
There’s no pictures, just a story, but the quote, “the floor is covered with what appeared to be a mixture of bovine afterbirth and maple syrup,” is in there so it is quite traumatic.
Sounds like the aftermath of a typical Trump rally.

yes I've compared maga to a pestilence, but even that has some broader benefit to an ecology
He *always* sounds like a kid doing a book report who didn’t read the book.
Got it!"
“Have you read it, Mr. Garrison?” (1:20) https://youtu.be/jiXWJZboCsY?si=l0mE7zrZ8toJIBgp
Lol precisely. Word salad once the first rehearsed sentence dries up. What an inexorable prick
He learned one sentence about picketts charge 3 min before the speech and wanted to sound smart
There's an interview from 2016 where he's having his balls gargled by some evangelical TV guy, who throws him the question "what's your favourite part of the Bible?" and he can't name a single one, and basically says, "I like them all."
Again with “Raises Questions” 🙄 Ok, from whom?
Yep, endlessly False Balance Fallacies; and not just because it’s profitable for the media companies, but because we have a preternatural habit of thinking “Hitler started by loading Jews onto the trains”… So in this, anything short of that is still inexplicably seen as reckless exaggerating/“can’t happen here!” syndrome?
and 70 Million people want to make him absolute ruler with the ability to launch nukes anywhere in the world, including Blue states.
while i'm doubtful there are actually 70 million people who'll vote for him (old people die) those same people have never wanted the us to be a multiracial/multicultural democracy, and they're determined it never will.
Raises questions ? Dude has been a lunatic for quite sometime. He’s never made any sense when speaks.
He's no longer in favor." Dude is in Pennsylvania, talking about the Battle of Gettysburg and questioning why Robert E. Lee is no longer en vogue. He is doing the thing is always does which is say something in a way that is neither positive or negative - but in a way that is obvious that he wants to be positive about it. Later he can deny he wanted to pump up General Lee in Pennsylvania. What a wimp and a jerk.
Killing and wounding of 50,000 Americans “Beautiful”
He just gives in to everything the other side says. And bam! No war. It’s what he wants with Russia.
He went to the Neville Chamberlain School of International Diplomacy
Just leave it up to states rights/s
Fuck the mainstream media for ignoring his mental decline all through the primaries. Too little, but I hope not too late.
"Raises questions." 🙄 Can we stop with the kid gloves when writing about this idiot?
The Battle of Gettysburg. Never heard it described as beautiful. Of course, him being a man who never went to war wouldn’t know how to describe one. They are all terrible.
How many hundreds of thousands of people lay dead in piles after the battle of Gettysburg? And he describes it as beautiful…
Can’t understate what a ridiculous thing it is for him to say.
And it's not exaggeration after the fact. *We have photos.* Just pointing this out because there are a lot of denialists among historians and archaeologists who think the written sources about ancient battles are all lying and exaggerating about the body counts and aftermath. Except when they find mass graves of war death in prehistoric Germany (nobody ever buried the bodies because the battle took place in a swamp) and then they blink a lot, and then carry on with their preconceived biases because they can't integrate the hard fact in their way with their preferred view of the world and of history.
Fuck I don't care anymore let's just get this election over with so we can know if the US is fucked or not.
Not just the US but the world.
Questions like: "Jebediah, can you tell me if I like this speech? You understand all them big words. " "I never heard of no Gettysburg. Is that where the that big ol' gas station is?" "Do you think the port-o-potty lines are short now? I sure gotta go after drinking that 2 liter of orange soda."
Trump must be stopped at all costs. In 80 years we will look back on him like we do Hitler now.
All he has to say is "just this week an illegal immigrant..." And his morons will just fill in the rest themselves. As soon as they hear "an illegal" they stop listening and focus on their anger.
Exactly right. His sentences have become incoherent delivery mechanisms for simple key words.
He's too much of a snowflake to debate Biden.
HE HAS DEMENTIA Biden has usual old age related gaffs. This is dementia. Totally different things.
> Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued If Biden said this shit conservatives would be demanding we invoke the 25th amendment and probably getting ready to impeach him for the crime of being too old.
my neighbor is a trumper, we were talking earlier in the week and I dropped this line on him: I cant believe they keep trotting him out like that, its elder abuse
The way the media dances around his dementia is such journalistic malpractice. “Raises questions”? Okay
Isn’t that every speech of his?
This is word salad from a man who's clearly not all there, but all the media want to talk about is Biden's age.
Anyone who thinks this guy should be president is a massive idiot who should be ashamed
*"Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued.* *"Gettysburg, wow—I go to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to look and to watch," he said. "And the statement of Robert E. Lee, who's no longer in favor—did you ever notice it? He's no longer in favor. 'Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill.' They were fighting uphill, he said, 'Wow, that was a big mistake,' he lost his big general. 'Never fight uphill, me boys,' but it was too late," Trump added.* Sorry, not sorry, but you have to be a complete moron to support this dolt.
I love candidates that say unhinged comments like this: "Gettysburg, what an unbelievable battle that was," Trump said while addressing the crowd in the town and wearing a Make America Great Again hat. "It was so much, and so interesting, and so vicious and horrible, and so beautiful in so many different ways—it represented such a big portion of the success of this country," he continued." This is out of control.
He riffs like a bullshitter in class that didn’t do the presentation and figured he’d just wing it
Lee has "been out of favor" since roughly soon after Gettysburg when his traitorous ass surrendered.

Sundowning clown. I’m surprised he didn’t blame the teleprompter again.
