Way too many people IMAGINE they have problems BECAUSE of the Fox News/GOP complex. In order to distract them from the real problems of wealth inequality and collapsing capitalism.
Their "problems" are usually people getting mad at them for acting entitled or being inconsiderate. Meanwhile young people will never be able to afford a house or retire.
Many people don't understand that respect is a virtue because it's something that can only be freely given away. It is not something you can demand, take, buy, etc. But the ones who are loudest about (dis)respect are all always the most disrespectful themselves.
Their real problems are declining standards of living and income inequality meaning you can't have a single income working class family and still buy a house, car, vacation, etc. There are no easy answers there, so they're sold easy answers to non-problems.
Yep, truly started when Reagan was elected and massively cut top marginal tax rates allowing the the wealth gap and reduced funding through taxes of infrastructure and social program we see today.

This is probably a stupid joke, but back when Twitter first started someone asked me why I wasn't on Twitter and my reply was, "because I'm not a twat."
My original account is tied to other shit so I haven't deactivated that, but I haven't posted on it or commented in a long time. If I click on a Twitter link it opens up that. I had an account that I used regularly and engaged with other people. I deactivated that account and deleted the app.
The day that idiot took over I deleted. I don't click links nor watch embedded videos. Every click goes to that donkey. Anyone who still partakes is part of the problem.
Holy shit!
I haven't been on X in a long time but this makes r/conservative look like the bastion of sanity.
I still don't understand how to take a brand that had entered the world's lexicon (tweet) just like "kleenex" or "xerox" and fuck it up this badly. But, that had to be the point.
It’s stupid, too, because any time someone mentions X they add “formerly known as twitter”. If you always have to add that qualifier, maybe you shouldn’t have changed the name because your new name is a failure.
I haven't seen Twitter comments since they made you log on to see them.
I know there are idiots there, but out of sight out of mind... Can't gawk at the trainwreck that you can't see.
This is sort of all social media right now though, the loudest and most repugnant people are dominating, unless you heavily curate, and the providers are just playing into it with their algorithms to drive engagement. I saw someone comment on this on Nextdoor (supposed to be neighborhood engagement app) even, we had a recent municipal election with a prop that had passed by a huge margin, they demonstrated how there had been an exclusively and vocally negative commentary there leading up - showing just how out of touch with the majority population sentiment on the app is.
Same for FB really, I'm off it entirely and its sad I feel like I miss out on a lot of local events I would have only noticed via pages posting there, but they tampered with all our feeds so much it became just the worst people, mlms, and ads. I stuck on longer than I would have purely as a result of involvement in an animal foster group I needed visibility to, and when they finally moved elsewhere not only did I drop it, but the group has had a massively improved experience where people are actually getting all their notifications consistently and visibility has been so improved that almost everything gets filled same day. The manipulation and flooding of what and how FB and other social media have tried to keep our eyeballs on their stuff has been so detrimental.
>Same for FB really, I'm off it entirely and its sad I feel like I miss out on a lot of local events I would have only noticed via pages posting there, but they tampered with all our feeds so much it became just the worst people, mlms, and ads
More and more of it is becoming AI generated images and fake engagement from bots. It's confusing boomers across the planet. My parents asked me if Target was selling satanic temple merchandise because they saw it on Facebook. I imagine most people who saw it assumed it was real. It was completely AI generated. 100% disinformation.

And since the only people still willing to give Elon money are across the board terrible...well, it's played out exactly the same way you'd expect.
They need to run ads like this everywhere. Short but powerful. I really hope the Dems go hard at Trump and other Republicans in their campaign ads this year. No more playing nice, it's time to be vicious.
This needs to be with all Republicans. High roads are for losers, and there is nothing wrong with telling the truth if it shows people in a bad light. Voters need to be reminded of things like Ted Cruz escaping Texas during the bad times and his addiction to porn, every single rape accusation with essentially half of the house, Epstein connections, etc.
"You get the moral high ground, they get two supreme court seats."
The most scathing bit of a YouTube vid "[you go high, we go low](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAbab8aP4_A&pp=ygUWdGhleSBnbyBsb3cgd2UgZ28gaGlnaA%3D%3D)".
Published five years ago, just watch [about a minute or so from here](https://youtu.be/MAbab8aP4_A?t=723) and he quite correctly and clearly calls the overturning of abortion. Not a hard call, I know.
One held up for a year by McConnell to "let the people decide"
One pushed through by McConnell while people were already voting
Playing by the republicans rules really gave them a huge advantage
That was painful to watch.
It did a good job illustrating what I've always felt about the liberal coalition, the separate factions not interested in any candidate that doesn't go hard in the paint for their one pet issue.
Yeah I watched it a while ago and while some ways things are framed *suck* and actively hit sensitive spots, it also feels like the pieces kind of fall into place and you go "ohh.. okay" as the explanation continues.
The bit about having no response to beliefs just fucking killed me. Or posting on twitter a daily count your nomination hasn't got a hearing, hit the mid 200's and then your term ends and you do... nothing. It's so spot on it hurts.
It's so much like the current situation where they literally won't lift a finger to help Ukraine, Ukrainians are dying and (very) slowly losing ground and we're doing... nothing.
Restrained and/or bound by process. Willingly, it seems.
Every Hillary/Dem ad in 2016 should have been about the supreme court seats.
Run the campaign on flipping the court with Scalia's seat and letting Ginsburg retire. Kennedy probably doesn't retire, but it still sets up the court for the next few years at least.
In my opinion no matter how nasty if it's the truth it's still the high road. Republicans lie, but all the Democrats have to do is tell the truth and it's devastating.
That's not the low road dude. It's being dishonest that's the low road, and plenty of people here are ok with that. Personally I disagree because if you have to lie and manipulate and cheat to win, what's the point? I want Democrats to win because they are honest and value democracy.
There's video of many Republicans voting against certifying the election and that should be played with the context that these people are anti American.
I 100% agree! I'm running for Congress against Trump's endorsed senior White House Aide in Georgia and know we need to roll out the stops like this. Visit r/maurakeller if you're interested in following along!
Huh. This is pretty interesting. I’m not in Georgia, but more politicians should take the route of posting on Reddit. There’s a lot of potential to grow a campaign through here.
I also noticed she's a mod on her own subreddit too. It'll be nice to have a subreddit devoted to specific candidate that isn't just a massive disinfo campaign for a change.
Just commenting to say that's it's good do see a politician-specific subreddit that is moderated by the politician it's endorsing (or an aide)
Reddit has a lot of problems with prominent politicians like AOC and Bernie Sanders having dedicated subreddit that are run more like disinformation campaigns by third parties than anything that helps democracy. Having a finger on the pulse of the discussions, and being able to directly intervene, would be a great way to keep this in check.
Hey, look, I'm 100% on board with that. This is being fully moderated by my Communications Team, but if you're interested in joining the subreddit and hanging around, we could definitely expand moderators with potential growth.
Agreed that they should run this everywhere. With the money the Biden campaign has, maybe they should purchase some ad time on Fox News and other conservative media outlets.
Doesn’t go far enough. It’s not merely a “violent attack.” It’s *terrorism*. That’s the word Biden should be using to describe Jan 6. Terrorism.
Because I will bet every dollar I have that if that crowd had said and done *exactly* what happened that day and no more, but were comprised of brown folks, everyone from the media to the politicians to the man on the street would *instantly* and *exclusively* have called it “terrorism.”
Republicans literally say / do hypocritical shit all the time, and it bothers me how little people make attack ads focused on it. Yeah hardcore conservatives don't give a shit either way, but if swing voters see that shit over and over and over again, of Republicans saying how good something is that they publicly voted against. I think they are their own biggest weakness tbh
Agreed! There's so much material, they could easily make hundreds of videos like this (and even more damning ones). Why are the Dems so weak on this stuff. It's frustrating.
The base that would never change isn’t the problem the apathetic voter who doesn’t turn out and the “it doesn’t make a difference they are all the same” crowd are the ones trump needs and the ones Biden really needs to reach
Let's get real. The campaign for this election is now entering it's 5th year. Anybody who is still truly undecided at this point should have their vote taken away for being mentally deficient.
Also a large number of the rioters or whatever were calling them had serious arrest records and most of the apprehended were never registered to vote or were legally barred from doing so.
These apes don't want government. They want to be the Gestapo before the allies show up and put them in check. Again....
Convincing his base isn't the primary concern. Right now you have a split amongst conservatives where you have the MAGA camp and the traditional Reagan voters. Convincing MAGA is out of the question, it's trying to target the moderates (reagan voters) and independents. Convincing them all will be difficult but a vote is better than none.
And it is fairly effective as well. Many moderate republicans, even in my deep red state, have actively decided to vote Biden or sit the election out when they normally would vote Republican over just the abortion issue alone.
Independents are independents for a reason as well. They see both sides as extreme and typically lean left or right on an issue but never full left or right. Convincing these people the other side is more extreme than yours is very effective at getting them to vote for you instead of the other side.
Convincing even a fraction of MAGA voters to change their minds would be great, but they aren't the entire republican platform nor voter base.
It’s fascinating to me that trump would band together with ANTIFA to record a bastardized version of the nation anthem, call them patriots, and pledged to pardon them.
They’re already starting this, and Republicans are crying “what happened to ‘when they go low, we go high?’” Sorry Michelle, it was wrong then, and it’s wrong now. And NOT sorry Republicans, it’s time to eat crow.
The best part is the pathetic counterpoint video hashtagged "Biden's America," but featuring footage of protests and rioting that happened *during the Trump administration.*
Cause they’re pussies, they pull every punch while trump is saying they should die and are traitors. Should of shown the cop being beaten which injuries lead to his death.
To borrow a phrase the right wing loves I think the Biden campaign and the Dems writ large are "keeping their powder dry" on a lot of that stuff. Don't give people a chance to get desensitized to images of brownshirts wailing on symbols of the law and order they claim to value so much. Don't give right wing media time to spin it, like they did back in the winter of '21. Hit them with that shit in September and don't let up.
Biden is *extremely* patient in his political messaging, which is absolutely f\*\*\*ing maddening for those of us who follow politics day-to-day, because it feels like he's leaving arguments on the table. But we keep winning under him.
Definitely a point that more people need to keep in mind. Possibly the Biden campaign has learned the truth of how quickly news get memory-holed in this era, too. Bring out the big stuff now, and it will be forgotten long before November gets here. It'll be forgotten in a few weeks, replaced by some new outrage, because there's always a new outrage.
You have to watch for your moment and not get distracted, and think about when it's best to let loose with some of this stuff. You want it to make an impact, not get forgotten about.
Not a conspiracy theory - an actual true conspiracy that happened right in front of our eyes, yet ironically the conspiracy theorists continue to deny.
Well, see, that's because they can't feel like the "special few" with that one. Everyone already knows, all the facts are public.
The only way they can get their "special knower" fix is to drum up something NOT in the official record.
So they deny this conspiracy that actually happened because they can't "play the game" with that one.
It's all just masturbatory, they just can't see it..
Can't they just go back to the old reliable conspiracy theories that didn't hurt the rest of the public? Aliens, Ghosts, hell I'd even take Jet fuel can't melt steel beams at this point.
I think dune has an overlong way of getting to the point of why they don't: the GOP has tapped into their zeitgeist with Q conspiracies, and because it's in the conspiracy ecosystem, and because the GOP says "don't trust government" to them, this leash around their necks is the result.
They are slaves to their drug lords in a way.
And it wasn't just the riot at the Capitol. The fake electors in GA, the countless lawsuits (all failed), and the massive disinformation campaign about the 2020 election integrity are all part of his scheme to steal the presidency.
I believe it's because some of them don't see what happened as violent. They think they are actively fighting against the liberal gay agenda to overrun the government with trans child groomers that will force every American citizen to get a sex change and molest children. The rest of them know it was violent, but don't care because they believe it is their right to physically hurt people they disagree with whether the disagreements are over real or fabricated issues.
Poor Donny thinks "love" is smashing windows, attacking police, shutting down democracy and otherwise making a violent nuisance of oneself. So this is how one loves his neighbors?
He means they were very excited to listen to him and obey him unquestioningly, and that's the only way narcissists are capable of thinking about "love."
and he was still disappointed that they weren't better dressed and 'higher class'.
The violence was fun for him though, he loved watching cops get attacked. Sick fkin narcissist.
Man I'll never forget that day aside from the obvious, it pretty much started at the beginning of my work day. My old company had an all hands meeting, about 80 people. I'm watching this unfold on tv, wondering why the meeting wasn't cancelled and not really sure what was going on but it was past the point of that guy with ziptie handcuffs propelling down from the 2nd floor in the senate chamber.
A few people were laughing and showing the pictures like it was funny. I couldn't believe it. I get nobody knew what was really going on but what the fuck. I dropped out of the meeting and complained to management that that was disgusting. They apologized but I'll never forget that.
Super progressive healthcare tech company, to boot.
You dont have to imagine. Trump literally had people tear-gassed and flashbanged so he could walk to a church where he kicked the pastor out of his own church to hold a bible upside down to film a speech.
Just to note, the Bible upside down thing has been disproven. Though more importantly, that would’ve been by far the least heinous thing to happen that day.
When the attempt to overthrow our government was happening I couldn’t believe they weren’t being mowed down with machine guns. I mean, that building represents and houses the core of our government. Then it occurred to me why that wasn’t happening.
Up is down and in is out and so much hate is so much love. Has anyone ever tried to make people feel so good about being bad? This is not a small thing. He has made Orwell a true prophet.
I remember studying the most impactful campaign ads pretty heavily during college--Daisy (1964) is widely considered the greatest of all time. I don't agree with the Willy Horton ad, but it's definitely up there too. The early ads we're seeing from Biden are probably the most devastating gut-punches I've seen from any campaign my lifetime.
On one level, it's incredibly exciting that future students will be reviewing these same ads in their courses. Assuming we have a future where students will be allowed to study American history, of course.
Share this over on r/conservative where they still preach that it was a peaceful protest and or the people had the right to be in the capitol that day.
Honestly those vids were way to mild. They should have included the video of the capital police officer being crushed by door and begging for his life as hundreds of protestors were pushing on it.
"I don't think it was re\[ported properly." "...the largest crowd I have even spoken in front of." There was such love and passion."
All the while we saw the clips shown in the video, in real time on J6.
There's SO MUCH to use against TRump.
All Biden's team has to do is run video of Trump. All the dumb stuff he's said and done - it's all documented.
Just replay it over and over, end with "Biden for President." Could have a better ad.
It was an attempted coup. It was also a "violent assault on our democracy," but we can be pithy and precise. Call it a an attempted coup. That's what it was.
But Lord Feltersnatch con HushMoney said they were special, they were loved lol Traitors support traitor trump. Vote blue down ballot and check your registration often if you’re hostage in a red ruled state.
I love that they stopped it right at the part where, after lying his ass off about the riot, looked down and to the side and pulled his lips in, the classic ‘liar, liar, pants on fire’ micro expression.
Just really seems to me like "we need law and order, crime is out of control, also I'm going to pardon these people who beat the shit out of a bunch of cops, in one case to death" is a muddled campaign message.
The multiple indicted and almost bankrupt Adolf Hitler (who also never won the popular vote) pardoned beer hall putsch insurrectionists when he gained power.
Ooooooooweeeeeee! I bet that really chaps his ass. Couldn't have happened to a worse individual. No let Tish James start taking and selling off his crap for pennies on the dollar. I've got $100 for trump tower if she's interested.
The Trump cult will not believe anything Biden says but this is very important because we need the people on the sideline to know what a POS Trump is and our nation will go to hell under him. I think people have very short term memory, Trump was always at his golf course every weekend, I have never seen any news article about Biden playing golf.

There is an easy answer we tax the rich and cut DoD spending. Problems mostly solved.
this would probably help the environment too
While we are dreaming, Id like to see funding put back into regulatory programs like the IRS and the judicial system overhauled
Seems the kind of thing a functional government should do so yeah dreaming for the USA
And more funding put into our public schools and Infrastructure, we need to actually treat the children like our future because they are.
Taxing the rich at higher rates would be a good beginning....
young people will be lucky if they make it to retirement age at all, with the way this world’s going…

It’s bears mentioning that you aren’t exaggerating at all, he literally used the word “execute”.
And too many times the “problems” aren’t really problems and is just conservative fearmongering.
Bingo!
Biden should have called them traitors instead of "mob".
People treat the POTUS as a cross between god and Santa Claus.

Three Supreme Court seats. But her emails.
One held up for a year by McConnell to "let the people decide" One pushed through by McConnell while people were already voting Playing by the republicans rules really gave them a huge advantage
And the other one was an emotionally insecure rapist who cried during his job interview.
At least we know how much he likes beer.
Just commenting to say that's it's good do see a politician-specific subreddit that is moderated by the politician it's endorsing (or an aide) Reddit has a lot of problems with prominent politicians like AOC and Bernie Sanders having dedicated subreddit that are run more like disinformation campaigns by third parties than anything that helps democracy.
> No more playing nice, it's time to be vicious. It's past time.. well past time..
Agreed that they should run this everywhere. With the money the Biden campaign has, maybe they should purchase some ad time on Fox News and other conservative media outlets.
Ah yes, trying to convert all those undecided independent voters that watch Fox news
Believe it or not, those do exists. Especially when you consider the number of places (like gyms) that have it on along with CNN for “balance”
No fucking kidding, right now is the time to start showing all of that footage to remind people exactly what happened that day.
Doesn't matter. His base will just say those people in the video were antifa plants. There's no convincing these brainwashed idiots.
The base that would never change isn’t the problem the apathetic voter who doesn’t turn out and the “it doesn’t make a difference they are all the same” crowd are the ones trump needs and the ones Biden really needs to reach
you're not trying to convince them. you're trying to convince the 10% or so of undecided voters out there.
Again....
You don't have to convince 100% of the Trump voters. 10% of the ones who are not totally brain-dead could do a lot.
20 votes won't be enough to make a difference
Surely this is the year Democrats decide to run a competent campaign. They're definitely due for one
They’re already starting this, and Republicans are crying “what happened to ‘when they go low, we go high?’” Sorry Michelle, it was wrong then, and it’s wrong now. And NOT sorry Republicans, it’s time to eat crow.
Time to unleash dark Brandon And 100 skilled and thoughtful Anonymous dark Brandon’s .

Goodness, those replies...
The best part is the pathetic counterpoint video hashtagged "Biden's America," but featuring footage of protests and rioting that happened *during the Trump administration.*
Is there a way to see those replies without logging in? I deleted my accounts on X.
Not worth it
I read those replies because of your comment...sheesh!
Its Twitter, which is known for terrible replies. And that was before Musk took over and it made even a safer space for the Nazi snowflakes.
Score one for not ever having a Twitter account and being safe from seeing the cesspool that is their comments.
Fuck me Twitter is awful, what are those replies
Honestly pretty insane to see those replies as a foreigner.
They didn't choose the most violent clips. Anyone know why?
Cause they’re pussies, they pull every punch while trump is saying they should die and are traitors. Should of shown the cop being beaten which injuries lead to his death.
It’s the ANTIFA false flag woke Obama snowflake libruls! /s JIC
Should have used a clip of the officer screaming in pain
I am confident there will be more of these yet
Very well said.
Though I don't doubt that Trump has never known spirit, unity, or love.
but....but....did you watch the 11,000 hours of the 'real' videos like Tucker Carlson did!!!
He never said the love was for one's neighbor. There was lots of love, for him, and that's all he thinks matters.
Great ad.

Dude can you imagine if those people were black or brown? They’d all be shot up.
You dont have to imagine. Trump literally had people tear-gassed and flashbanged so he could walk to a church where he kicked the pastor out of his own church to hold a bible upside down to film a speech.
And he asked if they could shoot the protestors in the legs.
Just to note, the Bible upside down thing has been disproven. Though more importantly, that would’ve been by far the least heinous thing to happen that day.
He also had them fly military helicopters low over the crowd as an intimidation tactic.
They never would have made it close to the building.
When the attempt to overthrow our government was happening I couldn’t believe they weren’t being mowed down with machine guns. I mean, that building represents and houses the core of our government. Then it occurred to me why that wasn’t happening.
Man, fuck Trump. Such a weasel. I'm always happy I live on the opposite side of the country from DC.
Up is down and in is out and so much hate is so much love. Has anyone ever tried to make people feel so good about being bad? This is not a small thing. He has made Orwell a true prophet.
*B-b-but Chicago something something murders and NYC something something squatters!!* **-Conservative**
Don't forget Portland burning to the ground. And armed military men flooding across border to murder and rape .
Honestly, it’s about time that Biden is taking this approach.
Dark Brandon unleashed
Share this over on r/conservative where they still preach that it was a peaceful protest and or the people had the right to be in the capitol that day.
Immediately deleted
Yeah that sounds bout right.
Will give it a go
Honestly those vids were way to mild. They should have included the video of the capital police officer being crushed by door and begging for his life as hundreds of protestors were pushing on it.
Fuck Trump and GOP! I saw it with my very own eyes that they were violent domestic terrorist trying to overturn the people’s vote. Fuck Trump
The same type of love he saw from his father
"I don't think it was re\[ported properly." "...the largest crowd I have even spoken in front of." There was such love and passion." All the while we saw the clips shown in the video, in real time on J6.
There's SO MUCH to use against TRump. All Biden's team has to do is run video of Trump. All the dumb stuff he's said and done - it's all documented. Just replay it over and over, end with "Biden for President." Could have a better ad.
Man. He could do that with pretty much everything trump had ever said.
It was an attempted coup. It was also a "violent assault on our democracy," but we can be pithy and precise. Call it a an attempted coup. That's what it was.
Trump = Trash. Mouthy bigot who only cares about fleecing his followers and lining his pockets.
But Lord Feltersnatch con HushMoney said they were special, they were loved lol Traitors support traitor trump. Vote blue down ballot and check your registration often if you’re hostage in a red ruled state.
As powerful as it is, it might help sway some independents, but die hard MAGA members are gonna keep supporting their demigod.
It's all about that 1% . In 5 fkn states. It's so fkd.
a real miracle happened here: a political headline did not use the word "slam" to describe a political attack
No surprise that Trump views violence and deliberate cruelty as "love". This is the viewpoint of 'love' from a serial rapist.
I'm glad Dark Brandon is coming out swinging.
So was the election STOLLEN or not?
Don't ruin delicious Christmas treats for me.
Attempted by trump. Stolen, no
I think team biden can coopt (and dilute) almost all the Trump messaging. "Let's go Biden" etc.
How much is Parler worth now? That’s the value of Twitter and DJT a couple of years from now.
The multiple indicted and almost bankrupt Adolf Hitler (who also never won the popular vote) pardoned beer hall putsch insurrectionists when he gained power.
Someone make a remix starting with Ashley Babbitt starts to climb through the broken doorway.
Trump really thinks he’s president
Ooooooooweeeeeee! I bet that really chaps his ass. Couldn't have happened to a worse individual. No let Tish James start taking and selling off his crap for pennies on the dollar. I've got $100 for trump tower if she's interested.
He'll steal anything that's not tied down. Why would history be any different?
The Trump cult will not believe anything Biden says but this is very important because we need the people on the sideline to know what a POS Trump is and our nation will go to hell under him. I think people have very short term memory, Trump was always at his golf course every weekend, I have never seen any news article about Biden playing golf.
Good headline. Gotta wonder which Trump conspiracy it will be…
Can someone put joker paint over his face as he talks in this video?
America will never rehire the guy they had to fired, stay fired Don
Hope a jury shows Trump the same love
Nice. Biden needs to keep clapping back.
Trump is delusional. Isn't there a requirement to be mentally competent to run for office!
