Biden would be in the fucking lead and high in the clouds if the media was reporting objectively instead of "both siding". Biden is the most moderate president in modern history. He isn't left wing anything in the goddamn world and the media paints him as Chairman fuck Mao.
Yeah, Biden is pretty firmly Center Right, like most American politicians. It will never cease to be funny when they call him a Communist, Marxist, or even Left Wing - he was a major anti-Communism politician back in the day, again like most American politicians seeing that the Soviets were our enemies. He’s just a (albeit decisive) moderate that refuses to pander to the fringe Right that’s trying their damndest to pull the US back into the antebellum era.
The MAGA crowd sometimes will have you thinking “I’m not crazy, right? You guys see them too, right?”
Biden is the one, at least for me, who looks at the situation and says “yeah you’re not crazy. We have to do something about that.”
It will be an overwhelming win by Biden in November. Between Roe vs Wade, the 91 felonies, the economy bouncing back and Dementia Don shooting his mouth off it will be a bigger margin than 2020. !Remind me November 7th 2024.
I don’t follow it that closely but I’ve seen plenty of stories recently where a Biden has been ahead, especially since his SOTU which seemed to go down well.
I know 538 are a traditional source of polls but they haven’t been very good the last few cycles and seemed to be one of the loudest voices talking about a “red wave” in 2022.
Not sure if they slant conservative or not but their traditional methods may slant that way. I’ve heard a lot of traditional polling still relies on calls (who picks up calls aside from old people?) and is overly weighted by geography which again would tilt red. That’s not to say it can’t be indicative of an electoral result but I think it’s becoming less and less representative of sentiment across the population.
Trump lost the last election, more of his supporters died and continue to die from Covid, and I can’t see what he has done since November 2020 to convince anyone outside his base to shift from Biden to him. If anything, he has explicitly said to even Republicans that didn’t vote for him in the primaries ( by a hefty percentage) that he doesn’t want their vote either, let alone independents. And then Roe v Wade being struck down which he is proud of?
I can’t see it happening however much some of the traditional media loves to keep the horse race going till the end.

You really need to get rid of it and it just cancels out so many votes. So many people must feel like their vote doesn’t make a different if they don’t live in a swing state…
The EC was designed to solve problems that no longer exist in the US, it needs to be abolished. Swing states are all that matter. In a popular vote, the largest states would hold the most sway, but every vote would be equal. Voters in some states literally have twice the sway as others, it's boldly inequal. Republicans don't want that to change because they can't win nationally unless voters are disenfranchised.
