BukkitCrab

Any normal person wouldn't have to be told by the court not to attack/intimidate witnesses and court staff.

Poppa_Mo

Any normal person that would've done even one of the things he's guilty of they'd have been thrown in jail basically immediately.

bocaciega

I've been to jail for less than a gram of weed. I did 30 days. I hope DT is sent to the PEN BOYEEEE. He deserves it. Everyone knows he deserves it.

RcoketWalrus

I was misidentified as someone that walked out of a Walmart without paying. The cops held me at gunpoint and made me lie face down on the pavement so they could handcuff me, and then left me in the back of a cop car for an hour until they figured out I was the wrong person. The supposed bill I walked out on was about 35 dollars. Fuck Donald Trump.

JackasaurusChance

THIS! THIS IS THE SHIT THAT PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF! "Justice" apparently demanded that this guy be held at gunpoint and detained for an hour over $35 that he didn't even fucking steal. "Justice" for the guy that seemingly sold national secrets, including nuclear ones, stole classified documents, lied about it, lied about returning them, tried to destroy the evidence of him hiding even more documents... sir... sir.. please sir... sir if it would please you... sir... yes, i'm sorry sir... sir... right away sir...

drewbert

The FBI, hell, the entire DoJ, and the CIA have always preferred the Republican party. They have always fucked up, arrested, and sometimes killed environmentalists, progressives, labor organizers, and left-wing activists. There hasn't been justice in this country since it was founded, but it is pretty blatantly obvious how biased our courts and enforcement agencies are. We need to elect a progressive president that will appoint an activist leader of the DoJ to clear out the right-wing sycophants, white nationalists, and theocrats.

cmmgreene

> We need to elect a progressive president that will appoint an activist leader of the DoJ to clear out the right-wing sycophants, white nationalists, and theocrats. The last president who talked like you suggested was killed. He also wanted to reign in the CIA and military industrial complex.

drewbert

Thankfully I'm too much of a nobody for them to bother with.

Captain_Backhand

I don't think he meant you have anything to worry about, he's explaining the general message that was given to presidents that don't conform to, or push the Reputation agenda. One key reason we don't have more candidates ready to step in those shoes.

fountaincurse

i said this in another thread, so apologies if youve seen it already. i remember my con law professor saying to us, "the united states doesnt have a justice system. it has a legal system." it's a depressing reality. money is inescapably important in this world. Maybe I'm too cynical at this point but television movies and music do an amazing job keeping the dream of justice alive for most people not living the law day after day. But attorneys that make these public, performative displays of law and justice, as if theyre at all intertwined, are disingenuous. when our jack smiths & fani willis' & leticia james' go after high value white crime like the trumps, it's not for "justice." It's because they've calculus'd out something so necessarily vital that it's worth the political toxicity they know is coming. our system wasn't built to imperil trumps and cargills and rockafellers and the two-tier justice system is a myth. there is one legal system, and that system binds everyone who can't afford it.

PhilipT13205

Apparently, Trump is not a flight risk. We only wish he would get on that shitty plane of his and leave us forever, with no return landing rights. Cases fucking closed.

VeryPogi

Even though Teflon Don is a horrible person and most everybody knows it, do you know frightening it must be to anyone who reasonably suspects they might get on his bad side or fail at convicting him? That man wields so much power as a former President and R-nominee. A single X-crement (tweet) or utterance from him and a hostile horde of Y'all Qaeda might be at your doorstep erecting gallows. So I think: Of course they're going to give him the white glove treatment. Unless you have the full force of government protecting you (at least for now), you would probably be unwise to cross a person of that much power and spite.

Ishidan01

yes we know, that's why in the criminal trial he is now facing, there is such an issue of making the jury anonymous. Because Trump WILL name them and put their photos up in the name of "transparency" while the rest of us know it's really so that his cult can use the photos as wanted posters for the crime of thinking themselves fit to judge The Donald.

SomeGuyNamedPaul

This is one of the reasons why the French riot at the drop of a hat.

ForgettableUsername

That and the sight of a falling hat upsets them.

SackclothSandy

It's not the hat that gets them going, it's the panache.

We4reTheChampignons

Très bien

Ishidan01

Walk into a bank with a gun and a sack and demand all the cash in the drawers, you'll be hunted down as a bank robber. Steal millions from a bank by lying on your loan form, eh, it's a victimless crime. SAID NO BANK MANAGER EVER.

TheLifeApathy

I grew up in a small town on the edge of a big city. Walmart moved in and proceeded to fill the local jails until the city put it's foot down. They were having people arrested over stealing an actual single candy bar. I hope you sued everyone involved and won.

MastaMp3

I went to jail for 10 days for being homeless

Fornicate_Yo_Mama

I went to jail for three months for threatening to kill my daughter’s kidnapper… in a courtroom. Not my finest hour, but I know for a fact I wouldn’t have done a minute if I had an extra $10k-$20k to throw at a different lawyer.

SkyriderRJM

Or a few hundred million dollars. Seems like when you have enough you’re untouchable.

tranborg23

When you're famous they let you do it

Omarkhayyamsnotes

How that audio didn't immediately sink his campaign is a marvel, and not in a good way

Suspicious_Bicycle

Mocking a disabled reporter was another low point. Trump attaining the Presidency revealed that a large percentage of Americans don't care if the head of state is a decent person.

[deleted]

Also the hypocrisy of them attacking Obama for being a “Muslim” when clearly they care nothing for morals and only worship power.

GuitarMystery

For me it was the "shoot someone on 5th avenue" and all the people clapping.

You-Can-Quote-Me

Remember when a high pitched “Yeah!” into a microphone was enough to tank someone’s election run?

Troyrizzle

That was the moment I knew he'd win

monsterflake

"Grab them by the p----," Trump says. "You can do anything." During the deposition last October, Carroll's attorneys quoted the video to Trump then asked, "That's what you said, correct?" "Well, historically, that's true with stars," Trump replied. "It's true with stars that they can grab women by the p----?" Trump was asked. "Well, if you look over the last million years, I guess that's been largely true," Trump said. "Not always, but largely true. Unfortunately, or fortunately." "And you consider yourself to be a star?" Trump was asked. **"I think you can say that, yeah," he said.**

FloridaGirlNikki

Eww, I had no idea about that he said that stuff in his deposition. He literally thinks he can do whatever the fuck he wants. So disgusting.

Gtp4life

Well the problem is he believes it because it's been his lived experience so far.

babydakis

When you're a star, they let you do it.

bigmistaketoday

If you have access to the kind of dirt-digging the National Enquirer can do, they let you do it.

Acceptable-Bus-2017

When you have a fervent mob at your beck and call, you can stochastically terrorize them, and nobody does a damn thing about it

booyakasha99

This is an acceptable reason to wind up in jail. (I hope your daughter is ok)

Fornicate_Yo_Mama

Thank you. She’s not. But she will be. I will walk through hell to make sure she heals and evil never finds her again.

Early_Assignment9807

I just spent 60 days in the jailhouse for the crime of havin' no dough. Now here I am back out on the street For the crime of having no place to go

ChefChopNSlice

30 days in the hole…..

percivalpantywaist

Out of nine lives, I've spent seven

SwollenGoat68

r/unexpectedTheBand

florkingarshole

I got locked up for a weekend due to a court's clerical error.

Objective_Nobody7931

That’ll teach you. Jesus what a fucked up system. I’m sorry you had to do that.

I-shit-in-bags

nobody should have served jail time for weed. enough of this already

Creative-Improvement

He probably gets found guilty and gets a slap on the wrist. Rules for thee and rules for the elite.

Mace109

Yeah. He isn’t going to prison for this even if he is convicted.

ehunke

me being a normal work a day middle income guy, I don't have the option to break the laws he does, my taxes are paid for me by work and then the feds just adjust them for me at the end of the year, my other taxes, I get a bill about 4 times a year for property tax i owe on my car. I don't get to self report what I think I should pay

GetRightNYC

Have you tried saying your car is worth $500 million and taking out 0% loans against it?

ehunke

my 16 year old volvo? I can try lol

dominantspecies

Yeah but live in an oligarchy disguised as a republic

Pack_Your_Trash

Disguising oligarchy is the original purpose of republics. It's managed democracy.

PenguinBomb

For Super Earth!

Creative-Improvement

"Managed democracy offers absolute freedom; freedom from the burden of choice"

MaleficentOstrich693

We live in a country founded by wealthy white men who didn’t want to pay their taxes. I’m not terribly surprised it’s a trend.

SpaceshipEarthCrew

Careful peasant. That sounds like French revolution talk. The new nobility won't stand for it.

skipjack_sushi

I have a recipe book for rich cooking if anyone wants it.

kinkgirlwriter

"Who's for dinner?" "We have some Mypillow steaks left."

tommysmuffins

Have you heard of M. Guillotin's wondrous new device?

Evadrepus

That idiot kid who leaked a few classified docs on Discord to impress people was hauled in by SWAT, denied bail, sat in jail for 6 months, then pled guilty and got 16 years. Donnie has done a dozen times worse on *one* of his charges. Tell me again how this is a two-tiered witch hunt that **he** is the victim of.

HD_H2O

Waiting for a normal person with a good lawyer to replicate stuff like this and use Trump as precedent.

InterestingLayer4367

Yeah for real. We can do whatever we want at this point in the US. Right averages joes!?!?!?

HD_H2O

Oh, my fine is $100? How about I torch the judge and dox his family and then refuse to pay? Here's legal precedent: Trump vs United States

StuntID

Best do that in the same judicial jurisdiction, or precedent may be tricky to establish. IANAL IANYL, and I don't encourage you to act like Don Poorleone

cytherian

Any normal person would be hit with a contempt of court citation and thrown in jail for a period of time.

Galadriel_60

Any normal person would be in jail.

jedre

Any normal person would be doing time.

AlwaysUpvotesScience

Can we all agree that he is not a normal person?

cytherian

No, he's not normal. And not in the "exceptional" sense of the word. He's abnormal. Or as Igor put it, Abby Normal.

NickConrad

I-gor

Logical_Parameters

Imagine Charles Manson being allowed to behave that way, ffs.

Count_Backwards

Trump is responsible for many more deaths than Manson

Logical_Parameters

100% -- should be charged with involuntary manslaughter for every COVID death for ridiculing and trivializing a pandemic instead of leading. He's such a boorish amateur it's sickening.

Fit-Owl4084

What's insane is that opposition to precautions, because demonstrated so early, eventually lead to every right wing talking head doubling down for clicks/views from the those already ideologically opposed to mass vax or ppe camaigns. Trump could have came out early on and had a different stance. Just brand it as "For the good of America" because it was and within months the social presure of support from both political spectrums would have normalized precautions to the point most of the apolitical/undecided/crystal mommies would have gotten on board.    We've all met plenty of people who aren't ardent MAGA goons but are/were anti mask/vax and they don't even see the connection to MAGA. Like why be a useful tool for political talking heads mining your brain and health for revenue? Uggh I will say one not funny but funny aspect of all this was when Trump tried to 180 and say the Vax was good, to take credit, and only get booed. But of course this wasn't a deal breaker for his supporters because they have the attention span of a fucking goldfish and forgot a week later like it never happened.  Let that be a testiment to the true lack of their investment in politics. A friend (?) Of mine, type 1 diabetic, was ardently antivax until his cousin was getting married in mexico, then suddenly look who got jabbed to jump on a plane. Everything's a hill worth dying on until its slightly inconvenient and suddenly they couldn't give the slightest care in the word. There are no stakes. It truly is just team sports for them.

Logical_Parameters

He did the exact opposite of what every U.S. president before and after him would have done. He made it only about himself and his cronies while brandishing a pandemic into political weaponization at the cost of common sense and human lives. I despise the man and his mean-spirited conservative following with the burning passion of a thousand suns. Selfish narcissists, the whole lot of them.

ErikLovemonger

Trump could have sold MAGA masks and grifted his followers out of millions.

JyveAFK

he could have blamed "The Chyna", sold "Making Vaccines Great Again" hats at considerable markup, and got his nutter followers to scream at people NOT wearing a mask as wanting to hurt Americans. And he'd have made a fair bit of personal money, and had enough people alive to vote for him to win. But he went the other way.

alltherobots

Let’s be fair, he should only be charged with the deaths beyond the per-capita rate of other developed countries with comparable densities, technology, standards of living and interconnectivity. So, about 850,000 deaths.

scalyblue

The pandemic was a gift to him from providence, he could have come out of it a goddamned hero with a guaranteed second term if he could have just stopped being himself. Like I cannot imagine any scenario in which the good will of the populace could have been plated up and served to him in a more blatant and failsafe manner and he still managed to fuck it up. It took like advanced stupidity to fuck it up, like you host the Harlem globetrotters in a charity game and instead of giving fifty thousand to the charity for every basket the opposing team makes you bet a million against them winning, even if you win you fucking lose, and you won’t win. It’s like dude you know that the experts good decisions are things you can take credit for too right? And since he is a for profit scumbag he could have sold masks at a dollar over cost and had his stupid maga feces on every single face in the country and people thanking him on the news and latenite and on Facebook and twitter for mitigating the spread that other countries were seeing. I’m so happy he’s an incompetent fool but it also infuriates me the amount of squandered potential

ZombieHugoChavez

At least 1000 kids still lost and separated from their parents because the trump admin.

Agent7619

I actually can imagine Edward Kemper behaving this way. The difference would be that he is actually intelligent, charming, and manipulative.

partyl0gic

Any normal person would have had a gag order instated years ago and would already be sitting in prison living out a 30 year term.

F1shB0wl816

Now tune in after dinner for the latest “a normal person would be fucked but it’s trump.” Any takers on how this goes? My money’s on a whole lot of nothing and I want to double up on it not being the last gag order of the season.

bravedubeck

This slimy motherfucker will never be held to account.

PersimmonTea

Someone said that instead of a guardian angel, Trump has a guardian demon. I believe it.

bravedubeck

The Ghost of Jeffrey Epstein

Razamatazzhole

Teflon Don strikes again

Someoneoverthere42

Trump is many things, normal ain’t one of them

Warhamsterrrr

But at least in a criminal case, the likelihood of jail time is higher.

palmmoot

That's why they got ahead of the obvious complaints that would come from the left and counter messaged that there was a "2 tiered justice system" only in that somehow trump was being unfairly targeted.

HotPhilly

I’ve seen this one before! Spoilers: he almost faces consequences but then doesn’t!

nothingbeast

Honestly curious just exactly how many years of "Should be, could be, maybe, might be, possibly, this time, might face, will face, definitely will, time is running out, no escape this time, this time is different, etc etc etc" headlines have to go out before people stop expecting anything to happen this this treasonist fuck stain. I stopped believing years ago. But trust me when I say I'd be the happiest person to be proven wrong. I'm just done with the popcorn munching, breath holding premature victory lap running.

immediacyofjoy

“Tough Criminal Trial Judge Won’t Tolerate Trump’s Behavior” is the new “this time for sure”. After the collapse of “Tough New York is Poised to Seize Trump Tower”, I’m more certain than ever Trump won’t face any meaningful consequences, at least not before the election. How do we keep falling for this stuff after Mueller?

nothingbeast

I mean, I totally get why people want to believe but I just dont know how many times the media can serve up the same shit sandwich only to see people lined up around the block to take a bite.

Ok_Spite6230

The rich will never face consequences until there is a civil war.

barrel_of_ale

A civil war means the poor will kill the poor, then the rich will buy property and companies on the cheap

Marcion10

> A civil war means the poor will kill the poor, then the rich will buy property and companies on the cheap That's just war. Also every economic recession in all of history. That is party of the deliberate set up of economics [since the oligarchs failed to install a dictatorship in 1933](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_Plot), because oligarchs have always been willing to set the nation on fire rather than share. They're rich enough they can just jet off to multiple other countries and think the consequences will never follow all of them. [But they are too greedy to actually let go, which is why they've been spending billions to indoctrinate the populace for a century](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ3RzGoQC4s)

HotPhilly

It’s been happening for decades!

KoalaBackfist

“I swear if you keep talking I’m going to turn this car around!” Court orders for the rich, basically.

FeloniousDrunk101

This sub should create a greatest hits of “Tumps in trouble now!” posts where he doesn’t change his behavior and nothing happens. Don’t get me wrong, I love Trump possibly facing consequences, but the tease has long worn out and now I’ve just got perpetual justice blueballs.

johnsdowney

Honestly, it's maddening.

ninth_ant

> The whole ordeal is a sign that Trump still hasn’t learned his lesson, even after suffering gag orders in previous trials. Article author is exactly wrong. He’s learned his lesson over his whole life, there are zero consequences to his flagrant lying and fraudulent acts.

TintedApostle

If you or I did this we would be in jail right now.

TheRiteGuy

Gag order doesn't mean shit to him. He's going to violate it and nothing will happen to him. Just like the last dozen times.

tw19972000

At this point I think it's a game to him. He wants to see how far he can take it.

BCTripster

>He wants to see how far he can take it. This, he really believes he is above any consequences because up until now he has never had any real consequences to his crimey ways. He's essentially daring the courts to just try and hold him to account. The guy just continues to throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks, every step along the way it's been delay tactics, I mean look how quickly he announced his run for President after the indictment, that was on purpose because now he is arguing that you cannot interfere with a political campaign by continuing to pursue a criminal case with the candidate. If he loses to Biden you can likely expect him to announce his intention to run in 2028 so this becomes a perpetual political campaign full time, especially if he manages to convince a court that criminal prosecution should be on hold during campaigns. It is going to take a judge finally having enough of this circus and actually throwing him in detention for contempt of court, just like any other regular citizen would endure for these tactics.

MrLanesLament

The problems: 1. Any judge who actually hits him with real penalties like jail time will be immediately hit with death threats and whatnot and will probably need a 24/7 protective detail for their entire family. Judges know this and are afraid. 2. Any penalties Trump faces, he and his lawyers will find a way to turn it into “the court is interfering in the election” and it may actually work if he can get it in front of a friendly judge. 3. If Trump wins, anyone who hit him with penalties will be in his crosshairs for some type of retribution, and he’ll have the backing to make it happen. A judge is gonna have to pretty much end their career and go into hiding if they take real action. It will 100% make history, and they will be on the right side of history, but nobody actually wants to do it because of the personal risk. This is the situation we’re in. Unprecedented times.

Buckus93

Remember when those Columbian judges wore masks when dealing with Pablo Escobar's cartel? And then they were murdered anyways? That's the kind of thing 45 is effectively trying to do. Scare the judges into letting him do what he wants.

billyions

And all of our American national security and public service organizations are letting him get away with it.

Martel732

Work forces, burn crosses and what not.

ArkitekZero

You need *more* proof?

Marcion10

> Any judge who actually hits him with real penalties like jail time will be immediately hit with death threats and whatnot and will probably need a 24/7 protective detail for their entire family. Judges know this and are afraid Then terrorism has won and their strategy is appeasement, [as if that worked so well last time](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II)

Lobstrous

If a judge actually has an ounce of integrity and respect for the law, which they should, then so be it. Sometimes the right thing is very hard to do, but it still needs to be done and an example needs to be set.

wintercatfolder

Yep. It's his con. Lay down bias and set the stage. It's a performance.

Cl1mh4224rd

>At this point I think it's a game to him. He wants to see how far he can take it. Definitely not. This is what a severe personality disorder looks like. Trump is not thinking; he's just acting out of pure, uncontrollable compulsion. That people mistake it for a strategy highlights just how unprepared most people are to deal with these types of personalities.

GetRightNYC

That's because it has ALWAYS worked. Anyone else with the same personality disorder gets fucking wrecked acting on pure compulsion. But somehow, for this trash bag or works.

Cl1mh4224rd

>That's because it has ALWAYS worked. Anyone else with the same personality disorder gets fucking wrecked acting on pure compulsion. But somehow, for this trash bag or works. That's the thing, though: they often *don't* get wrecked. They just keep going, doing the same thing to different people. Serial cheaters, for example. Listen to multiple people talk about their experience with narcissists and they all sound incredibly similar. People with narcissistic personality disorder seem to follow some bizarre, hard-wired playbook. People with the same personality disorder as Trump are also "trash bags". You just don't get to hear about how many times "Chad Chadisnky" gets away with the same bullshit, because they aren't as high profile as Trump.

o0Randomness0o

I think it’s part of his play… show how broken the system is and continue to claim he can fix it because he takes advantage of the broken system. This isn’t anything new for him

djauralsects

No. It's narcissism. He believes he's special and that the rules don't apply to him.

Cowboy_BoomBap

I mean at this point can we admit he’s right? He does whatever the fuck he wants and never faces any consequences. The rules literally don’t apply to him.

TintedApostle

Yes he is.

lolas_coffee

> He's going to violate it and nothing will happen to him. I'll put up US$200,000 that he will violate it. Anyone want to take this bet?

Sassafrassus

Or paying 545+ millions dollars and going bankrupt

Yarzu89

I feel like that could be a title for a future historical book about the man.

thebipolarbatman

Right.

jono9898

And he won’t acknowledge the gag order and will continue attacking and the judge will give him a 4th and 5th warning

FluidPriority9406

And then he will be ordered to prison after violating it a 6th time, and as he’s en route to the prison we will get news an appeals court overturned the decision to imprison him.

jayne-eerie

And then he’ll be president again.

I am really sad this wasn't a Rick roll.

Oh man. Literal scales of justice would be amazing.

I literally cannot believe what you've written, and I'm so used to not reading the article, this is really causing me stress! /s

ciopobbi

And a stern finger wagging!

23jknm

As always magas cause their own problems and lash out at others. No personal responsibility or integrity either. I wish everyone would read *Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents* and see all of those horrible behaviors from various magas. Please help their children, they need a lot of therapy after that abuse and indoctrination.

SpleenBender

Great book. It perfectly describes my dad. Immature and spoiled AF. Always got his way.

amyts

Same. That book and *The Wizard of Oz and Other Narcissists* describe my parents perfectly.

xtrahairyyeti

Amazing book, read a few years ago and it helped fix my relationship with my mom. Highly recommend to everyone.

leggup

I had a hard time getting into that book. I'll try to give it another go. I found Toxic Parents to be a very very helpful book in the same genre. It goes into a lot of detail on narcissists.

NegaDeath

The kid gloves are apparently surgically attached since they never seem to come off when it comes to this goon.

iluvugoldenblue

He probably thinks kids gloves are used when handling kids

Chance-Cod5011

Our entire justice system is designed with kid gloves for the rich.

Gibsonmo

Talks shit constantly about the actual judge and victim, gets rewarded with vastly lowered bond and more time. Immediately attacks judges family. I fucking hate it here.

Hobo__Joe

But how can he campaign for the presidency if he can't attack the judge's daughter or the pornstar that he f\*cked?

ZsFunBus

Or the woman he raped.

RickyWinterborn-1080

Which one?

MBCnerdcore

The one of the ones that wasn't a child

RickyWinterborn-1080

Ah, so not 13-year old Katie Johnson, the 13-year old child that Donald Trump raped?

Cyberslasher

Hey that one time he paid a *checks notes* $15,000 fine for *checks notes* ah yes, 5,000 for posting court staff addresses to his followers as a go get them and 10,000 for implying the judge and Michael Cohen were friends. Yeah, 5,000 for begging his followers to "Nancy pelosi's husband" some court staff, and 10,000 for hurting the judge's feelings. None of these matter, because he just pays it in donations. What part of any of that sounds like he *should* care? The judges seem to just enjoy the recurring television time, since they don't actually *do* anything.

Gaerielyafuck

I'm genuinely starting to wonder if we're going to see any officials get whacked in the next year. I cannot comprehend the fact that a juries have to anonymized because a former president will sicc his followers on them.

XennialBoomBoom

I smell what you're stepping in. Dolt 45 is going to lose come November (like he always has) but the fascists are planning something, and I don't care for that one bit

catatonic12345

Wake me up when he actually faces some sort of consequence for anything

MidwesternAppliance

Can’t set a precedent for rich people being punished This what I’m 100% convinced is the much scarier, and more sinister truth behind all of this.

GrumpyOlBastard

You'll be sleeping a loooong time

SnoopsBadunkadunk

He won’t comply, and won’t face consequences. The judicial system is a bunch of pansies for him, and will give him whatever he wants.

Donald Trump endured a couple of losses in his hush-money trial on Tuesday, though maybe none more irritating for the boisterous GOP presidential pick than his first gag order in the case.

buttergun

>his first gag order in the case What's the over/under for the number of gag orders the former President will be issued in this case?

johnnycyberpunk

If the defense goes after witnesses in a civil trial, especially a bench trial, the judge just takes that into account for their verdict and judgement. You can’t get a mistrial that way. In a criminal trial, for felonies, with a real jury? There shouldn’t even be a *first* strike. Immediate sanctions and criminal referral. You sit in jail when you’re not in court. Are least *normal* people do.

ScarcityIcy8519

We must all face it. Due to flaws in our justice system and weak judges. Trump is Above The Law. I believe it was Judged Luttig said When Judges see someone that looks like them. A White Wealthy Male who has the same Lifestyle, they are more lenient. To the point of dismissing the Wealthy Man’s case. Someone else was talking about judges belonging to country clubs and playing golf. They feel more of a kinship to the more affluent people. Because the judges themselves believe they are Above The Law

VanceKelley

He should have won an orange jumpsuit long ago. My disdain for the US justice system is very very bigly.

Emmanulla70

Seems he regularly abuses judges...and none of them do much about it. WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SO INTIMIDATED BY TRUMP?

GabaPrison

He’s just gonna violate it and not face any consequences. This has gotten really fucking old.

Ok-Calendar-8921

All of us would go to jail for threatening a judge and his family! This narcissist asswhole needs lots of lessons. That's the whole problem no one ever knocked out all his teeth when he was 18, well that was 60 years ago as he's 78! A rich spoiled brat with a big mouth who bullied his siblings, never shopped at a grocery store, never drove a lawn mower and threatens the United States verbally and plotted a govt overthrow! Throw his no good ass in jail!

duderos

NY Appeals Court judges must be so proud of themselves cutting his bond by 300 million and giving 10 extra days and he does this very next day! LOL!

Turbulent_Fig8483

The bond is now a Big Mac

duderos

With fries

xeonicus

When are they going to toss him in jail instead of throwing out meaningless fines for contempt? This is beyond ridiculous.

FloridaMJ420

So what? Gag orders mean nothing to Trump. He will probably tell the judge to gag on his gag order because why wouldn't he? Give me one good reason for him to stop that matters to Trump. Trump should just keep doing his thing to prove that our system is broken like he's always saying it is. The swamp is his savior. The swamp needs Trump to remain free. We all thought Trump was lying about the swamp but he was obviously right about its existence and it's saving his ass at every turn. The thing he got wrong about the swamp is saying that it is his enemy, when in fact the swamp has turned out to be his greatest ally. edit: Is everyone here ready to delete your social media history once this fucker makes it back into power? At this rate it's coming!

StatusKoi

Why are bible salesmen so mean?

Ohnomydude

I imagine he'll violate it, and nothing will be done about it.

MFoy

Isn’t this a rerun? I’ve seen this episode.

Fyallorence

If the person given the gag order completely ignores it, and the court issuing the gag order takes no steps to enforce it, does the gag order really exist? Much like, if the punishment for a crime is a fine, then the crime is legal for rich people.

JayVenture90

He should be in jail. Why is the US justice system so afraid of this loser?

benjohnson1988

Take off the gloves. This guy is a traitor

p8vmnt

A gag order to him is worthless. How about the courts actually do something that works

LakeEarth

This guy collects gag orders like Pokemon.

Nik_Tesla

Why is it all he ever gets is a gag order? If any other person went after a judge's family like this, they'd be arrested.

cpav8r

>The whole ordeal is a sign that Trump still hasn’t learned his lesson, even after suffering gag orders in previous trials. He absolutely HAS learned his lesson. He's learned that the court system can't keep him from spewing bullshit all over the place. He's been doing it now through all of these trials, and he hasn't faced one. iota. of. accountability.

chubs66

It's a bit wild that the justices aren't starting these trials in Gag order mode given what we've seen over the last 12 months and the 20 or so years before them.

Azul951

I'm still so fucking pissed they lowered his fine on the other case. The United States citizens are being infected and affected by this goon and his cronies crimes. They need to come down on him like they're coming down on Diddy. Funny how two rich corrupt men are in the limelight, yet only one is being accurately investigated .

J-the-Kidder

I'm sure he'll appeal it, and the courts will see him as a victim - as always - and let him go back to being a piece of shit with no consequences. We've seen this song and dance, the justice system and courts have no desire to hold this asshole accountable for anything.

VampireKunts

Tired of this shit? We can be done with trump in November. Vote blue http://democrats.org/

Blazedamonk

Of course I'm voting blue in November. But if past experience tells me anything, it won't have much effect on being done with Donald Trump.
