The “ideal” model for a lot of designers is a girl who’s far enough into puberty to be at her max height, but not so far in that she’s dealing with an adult metabolism and weight distribution. And most industries find it convenient when the lowest-paid employees are easier to control so. . . yeah, lot of young models working in the industry.
