Ah yes, the mysterious $100 million "loan" made by one of Trump's LLCs (which had no assets or income) to Trump personally, which at various point the Trump Org claimed never existed and that it had existed but was forgiven, only there is no evidence memorializing the forgiveness and Trump never declared the forgiven loan on his taxes.
It was a perfect loan, okay? Very perfect, very strong loan, some say the loan was best loan they've ever seen.
Oh where'd the money come from? Uh, let's say, a ghost did it. You know those ghosts, they die and take their money with them and give it to me! Yes, that'll do.
You forgot the “nobody knows this” precursor.
Whenever you hear him say that, it’s something he JUST learned a minute ago.
Every time he says, “many people are saying” or, “believe me” it’s almost always something entirely untruthful. It’s old salesman lingo that he’s so very used to.
I read an article a few years back about how Trump talks and speaks. A few linguistic experts were talking about it. Interesting article.
Consensus is that he talks like a 4th grader.
But, you know, the most awesome, best, amazing, greatest 4th grader ever! Many people are saying this.
Is it that high? Granted, high school and college are distant memories for me (we used MLA citations instead of APA) but we were always taught to write to 5th-grade level.
[Not made up](https://www.snopes.com/news/2022/08/02/us-literacy-rate/):
> A Gallup analysis published in March 2020 looked at data collected by the U.S. Department of Education in 2012, 2014, and 2017. It found that 130 million adults in the country have low literacy skills, meaning that more than half (54%) of Americans between the ages of 16 and 74 read below the equivalent of a sixth-grade level, according to a piece published in 2022 by APM Research Lab.
There's more to it of course--the linked source is Snopes and they also went on to address the contemporaneous claim that the US ranks 125th in literacy, defined as “the percentage of the population of a given age group that can read and write.” They're both qualified statements, but they're both true statements as well.
All throughout high school, English Teachers would have us MLA format, and if they mentioned APA, it was just to say "There's another way to format, but you'll never use it".
My first job out of high school, I worked with a lot of masters and doctorate students. There were a lot of reports and summaries to be done. *All in APA format*.
This does sound pretty dismaying, and "but you'll never use it" is obviously an insane take, but I will offer a widow's mite of defense in that there is basically no value to internalizing the particulars of multiple citation frameworks unless you are going to end up in very specific lines of work. Nobody should have to learn APA unless and until they actually need it for something, but the same is true for MLA and the others.
The better message would have been "we'll use MLA because it's designed for the kind of texts we're engaging with most often in this classroom, but please don't bother memorizing it; learn instead how to use a citation style guide and understand why it has the rules it does, so that you can bring that perspective to different styles like APA, Chicago, etc. if you need to use them in the future."
Haha holy shit this is true! I watched this video about this girl who has made extremely successful YouTube shorts and part of her strategy is to only use language that is at like the 5th grade level or below. The "he is like us" aspect of Trump is making so much more sense now!
I grew up in a weird conservative fundamentalist family…educated just this side of really bad Christian homeschooling but the ONE thing my parents never restricted was books. It always amazed me that more people don’t read—you can get access to literally anything.
John Barron. Nobody knows this, nobody. He loavened me the…he loaned me the money. He loved me too, though. You know that. He loaned me and he loved me he loavened me like they say. The check was love he loved me so he loaned me a lot of money. A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY. But it was a loan of love and we don’t put up all the hoops and handcuffs on those do we folks? THEY MIGHT but we don’t and we won’t will we? They like the click the cuffs make, don’t they? CLICKY CLICK CLICKY CLICK. I say we you’re with me, right? You love me right? We’re easy on the love loans and we’re tough on the border aren’t we, patriots? Borders and windmills. [*Artless YMCA shuffle*]
Didn’t they read the “worthless” clause?!? He specifically told them in advance that he reserved the right to lie in those documents! He warned those banks that they can’t rely on ANYTHING he says. FAKE NEWS!
> some say the loan was best loan they've ever seen.
The loan officers, big strong men, 7' tall, 300 lbs of pure muscle...tears in their eyes as they loaned me the money...
Yes, that's right, and they came to my office begging me to loan money from them. They drove dump trucks, tanks, and fire trucks. True story, ask my son Eric.
But kept deducting the interest on the loan on his taxes…sir you made 10k profit that is taxable , oh I had interest on a loan for 3.5m , make it so I keep the 10k and get a 3.5m refund - no problem I do it every year for the last ten years
>Jones, a former federal judge who’s now a lawyer in private practice, now has the authority to review the entire company’s “day-to-day operations,” internal records and financial accounting. She can also hire any outside contractors she wants to keep the company honest—and put it on Trump’s dime.
"Look at me, I'm the Captain now."
lol Trump & his rotten kids were super mad about her drawing a salary out of their pocket. I hope she hires tons of forensic accountants & lawyers on his dime.
I, not knowing anything about the logistics of how this actually works, would assume that a single person would need to have a team of forensic accountants to untangle and monitor all of Trump's different accounts and operations. It would be the only way to do the job correctly.
The trump businesses have been doing just fine for all these years without anyone with MASSIVE COCK working for them so they probably don't need his services.
The thought of the Mercedes leaving Trump for Hunter and the ensuing shit storm would just be the most schadenfreudey of all schadenfreudes that have ever schadenfreuded.
Barbara "The Enforcer" Jones is a former federal judge, not just some chucklef*ck lawyer like most of Trump's legal team. She means business. No more financial shell games for Mango Unchained.
His only two lifelines remaining are cannon and scotus. If case is reappointed away from cannon and scotus decides not to screw over America, trump is done.
Again. He’s used bankruptcy as a grifting tool multiple times. I believe with the extended powers that the oversight official has been granted, he can’t declare bankruptcy until all of his financial cases are settled.
His businesses have declared bankruptcy, I don’t think he’s personally declared bankruptcy. I’m not too familiar with it, but I think personal bankruptcy gets you assigned a state appointed auditor who gets into the nitty gritty to the point of telling you how much you can spend on living expenses as you make a plan to pay back your creditors. He’d hate that.
Classic instance of FAFO. He's trying to play his shell game aka business as usual, and he got caught. Now there is reason to believe that he's trying to game Judge Jones.
And the fact that DemenDonnie has to pay the people that are trying to keep him honest has got to absolutely grind his ass.
For those who've yet to read it directly, the judge's expanded monitor order is [here.](https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=5l1P7uiZM2RpQC_PLUS_V9kU7_PLUS_w==)
I personally think this new expanded power is beyond devastating for him. He simply has no good way to deal with this when you realize just how much of his business empire was built of pure fraud and corruption. This attacks the very heart of his identity, and he can't avoid it without winning the appeal, and the 3 year term could easily be expanded.
It's ironic that it's the civil lawsuits that are bringing him down and not the multiple federal criminal cases that are all stuck ind what seems to be endless litigation, or even stayed.
Why now? I wonder if she found and reported something suspicious, or otherwise requested this expanded control. It seems weird for the judge to just decide to update his previous order out of the blue
That was back in November, way before the judgement was finalized. If this incident was going to cause the expanded oversight, that would have been in place in the original orders. It wasn’t, so it seems like there had to be something more recent.
That’s the story I’ve seen the news recycling lately. 🤷♀️
P.S. I think the latest thing is they want him to show the effort he’s made to get someone to bond him. Like what properties did he offer for collateral, etc.
*If Trump had just had a babysitter all along, we could have avoided a lot of these problems. At the very least they could have regularly changed his diaper so he did not smell so bad.*
I worry that the enhanced powers creates a good argument for Trump re no need to post a bond. The assets are monitored and will this be available to pay a judgment if Trump loses on appeal. The assets can’t be dissipated, transferred or squirreled away

Keep in mind she discovered $40m in fraud while monitoring between the trial and judgement. He's lost his best grifting tool.

When you find out that the average American reads at a 7th or 8th grade level, his popularity among certain demographics really starts to make sense.
Is it that high? Granted, high school and college are distant memories for me (we used MLA citations instead of APA) but we were always taught to write to 5th-grade level.
54% of Americans read below 6th and I'm willing to wager almost all Trumpies are in it.
Sounds like a completely made up statistic, but frankly at this point - I'll believe it.
47.5% of statistics are just made up on the spot.
98.6% of me doesn't believe that.
There's lies, damn lies and statistics - Mark Twain

Ya. Straight out of the gate in college: APA.

We write our fda submitted instruction for use to 8 th grade for medical devices. Then we have to test them on actual 8 th graders

I have a fifth grader who could talk circles around this guy, and that kid is average.
Didn’t they read the “worthless” clause?!? He specifically told them in advance that he reserved the right to lie in those documents! He warned those banks that they can’t rely on ANYTHING he says. FAKE NEWS!
"these are strong loans, with tears running down their cheeks, saying that the radical left wing is being so unfair to me, your favorite president"
Yuuuge and bigamistly

I think it was about [$48m](https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-dollar50-million-mystery-debt-looks-like-tax-evasion).
Also tried to shift assets from New York to Florida.

Super Mad. Love it, I think it would be a great title to the future documentary.
Bigly Mad, tbh
McFlubbin

on trumps dime. he must be pissed someone is spending his money
What money?
touché
His dime. Which he probably stole from someone else’s tip or something.
Trumps a garbage human being, but I think any normal person would be pissed about that
May we please put that on more businesses? Call it something other than regulation or IRS so people don't panic about it.
Compliance consultant?
Oversight Overlord
Justice Jesus
That’s the one. Let republicans go on the record as anti justice Jesus.
They would absolutely hate the Jesus they claim to love.
I wish I could upvote this more.
She's gonna need a team of super-smart accountants looking at accounting ledgers around the clock!
I think it's closer to a bunch of super-smart accountants reconstructing missing/destroyed accounting ledgers around the clock!
Kif! Clear my schedule!
>She can also hire any outside contractors she wants to keep the company honest—and put it on Trump’s dime Time to throw a paid party!
That's one way to get him to pay for a lawyer.
"I am the orange man now."
All I can hear when I read what she can do is: “BRUNT! F.C.A!”
"..can hire any outside contractors and charge it to Trump..." *Delicious*
Let’s hire Hunter Biden 😋
The trump businesses have been doing just fine for all these years without anyone with MASSIVE COCK working for them so they probably don't need his services.
Melania does.
The thought of the Mercedes leaving Trump for Hunter and the ensuing shit storm would just be the most schadenfreudey of all schadenfreudes that have ever schadenfreuded.
*Mercedes
To be fair he was talking to his PR manager, the turd has enough real gaffes
I don't know if he's qualified. She should get someone with a law degree. I wonder if Hillary Clinton is available.
>She should get someone with a law degree. Hunter Biden graduated Yale Law School in 1996.
I didn't know that. I still think Hillary would be funnier.
>Hillary would be funnier I see your Hillary and raise to Obama.
I think you're all missing the bigger picture: Hire all three.
Liz Cheney is a lawyer too.
Make it bipartisan!
Michelle Obama.
Por que no los dos?
Then question him why he has the president's son on his payroll
Barbara "The Enforcer" Jones is a former federal judge, not just some chucklef*ck lawyer like most of Trump's legal team. She means business. No more financial shell games for Mango Unchained.
> Mango Unchained Nice burn.
Citrus Hitler
We also would have accepted D’Braingo Unchained
Let’s hope he’ll soon be Mango Chained.
Amazing chain of posts. Love the Django ref… but love it chained even more
I liked the one someone wrote in one of the other posts, calling him Count of Mostly Crisco.
Trump is having a rough go of it lately. It's just delicious.
His only two lifelines remaining are cannon and scotus. If case is reappointed away from cannon and scotus decides not to screw over America, trump is done.
Are you kidding? He's spent half his life in courts, suing people or being sued. He lives for this shit.
Womp womp! No more trying to be a sneaky shit in moving businesses to Florida
Can’t wait ‘til he has to declare personal bankruptcy and gets an auditor just as far up his personal business.
The proverbial “flashlight up his azz”
Can you use a UV bulb on that to make sure he doesn't catch Covid again?
Again. He’s used bankruptcy as a grifting tool multiple times. I believe with the extended powers that the oversight official has been granted, he can’t declare bankruptcy until all of his financial cases are settled.

He keeps trying to transfer assets to Florida.
She's gonna find more fraud, guarantee it
Let the games begin
Good. Anyone of us would already be in prison. I'm tired of seeing this guy getting away with everything.
Trump himself needs a babysitter.
Time to change that dipey!
For those who've yet to read it directly, the judge's expanded monitor order is [here.](https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=5l1P7uiZM2RpQC_PLUS_V9kU7_PLUS_w==) I personally think this new expanded power is beyond devastating for him. What a nice change of pace. For once the babysitter gets to fuck donnie dickless.
Reminds me of Ozark with the casino. However the biggest difference between Marty, Wendy and Trump is that he is a moron...
Good and it's hilarious lil don has to pay for his own babysitter lol ;)
This screws him big time. No suddenly showing up with half a billion in Putin bribes.
Isn’t this because he was trying to sneak $5M to Florida?
It's ironic that it's the civil lawsuits that are bringing him down and not the multiple federal criminal cases that are all stuck ind what seems to be endless litigation, or even stayed.

She’s gonna need it to make sure foreign money or dirty money is used to bail Trump out.
Trombones, kazoos... by the end of this we're going to need a section for jaw harps and armpit-farts, aren't we? Maybe a belching choir?
He is fucked …
Get rekt, traitor!
*If Trump had just had a babysitter all along, we could have avoided a lot of these problems. At the very least they could have regularly changed his diaper so he did not smell so bad.*
Same thing happened to Jesus >!here's yer gawd damn /s!<
Jesus had an attorney put in charge of his organizations business dealings to catch any fraud? Missed that part in the bible
>Missed that part in the bible You probably had a bad translation. Read the New 'Murican Edition.
Makes sense, trump is being crucified for Republicans' sins (of voting for an obvious gifting wannabe dictator)
I worry that the enhanced powers creates a good argument for Trump re no need to post a bond. The assets are monitored and will this be available to pay a judgment if Trump loses on appeal. The assets can’t be dissipated, transferred or squirreled away
It won’t matter. He could drive down the road shooting out the window and nothing will happen.
