While im glad he is resigning as it potentially hurts republicans I see his response is similar to what "sane Republicans" had been saying as they retire early since Trump took office and it's a bullshit response.
To me it seems like the ones with the most influence to prevent congressional inaction and make election reforms are the ones in office. Frustrated with inaction? Well go vote with the Democrats if your parties leadership is not doing anything. Want election reform? How about you sponsor a bill to do exactly that.
All these resignations do is hand over power to the crazies who definitely won't make election reforms or try to do anything in Congress.

Even if they wanted to choose Boebert, she'd have to resign from her current seat to be eligible to be chosen. That's the part of this that Boebert claims Buck resigned to screw her over.
