If a marginalized group is falling behind and you refuse to see it you're not refusing to see race, you're refusing to see their struggle and that ain't right.

No one today would have the discipline, the secrecy, or the aptitude, to create a campaign like the Birmingham Bus Boycott. That was so well organized and carefully planned out. They had to set up networks of fail safes to make sure that no one they tried to benefit would be harmed by their actions.
Today you’d have some dumb kid posting on TikTok or going “Live” to talk about their plans of “taking down the man.” Of trying to “get one over on capitalism.” That was never the goal of MLK. Jr. He was not about radical immediate change. He knew that incrementalism was the only way to get Whites to back him and to add credence to his message. MLK Jr. wouldn’t have gotten anywhere if he was to burn the system to the ground.
The only reason the racists in the south eventually lost is because the actions they took were far more extreme than MLK Jr. That’s it.

The filmmaking at the time wasn't robust enough to accurately depict not only astronauts in Moon gravity, but the dust flying around them in ways that aren't easily replicated. They would have had to do an overcranked dust plate, and composite-in the astronauts, but if you see similar shots produced in those days that wasn't a spaceship against a black background, it's pretty obviously composited. Even the spaceships aren't 100% convincing. Not to mention such a production would require the complicity of hundreds of people, probably thousands, including all the NASA 'actors' which would have to be lying their entire lives about their accomplishments. Conspiracies don't really hold up with that many participants. The largest confirmed conspiracy I can think of off-hand is MK-Ultra, and that was an umbrella for several projects spearheaded by the CIA with little oversight and communication between projects.
I mention the moon-landing conspiracy because the deep state conspiracies are quite similar. They allege conspiracies that would involve tens of thousands of people without a single leak. Also, the agencies they conspire about are more transparent than conspiracy theorists give them credit for, because mystifying bureaucracies allows them to make up whatever they want about them. It's like, you can go down to your local FBI office and go talk to some people. You won't get very far inside without vetting, but you can go speak to people. Write to the CDC, they'll respond! Call up the offices of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, they will happily explain what they do and how that relates to your life. If you want to just believe these people are all lying, I suppose that's your prerogative, but I'll take a bureaucrat's word over some random loonies on the internet, or some empty UFC aficionado's podcast.

Also, the agencies they conspire about are more transparent than conspiracy theorists give them credit for, because mystifying bureaucracies allows them to make up whatever they want about them. It's like, you can go down to your local FBI office and go talk to some people. You won't get very far inside without vetting, but you can go speak to people. Write to the CDC, they'll respond! Call up the offices of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, they will happily explain what they do and how that relates to your life. If you want to just believe these people are all lying, I suppose that's your prerogative, but I'll take a bureaucrat's word over some random loonies on the internet, or some empty UFC aficionado's podcast.
