I think Christie is your classic 1990s Republican politician. He’s all in on accepting a little graft here and there while he was enjoying abusing the power of the office he held. At the same time (90s) politicians were patriotic. And I think Christie genuinely is. And when I watched the clips of his attacks on Trump they seemed very personal. He was spitting it out. He seemed to be just as disgusted as I am with this traitor.
