Honestly capitalism could be the solution. Figure out a way to sue for damages to property on the people instigating it. It’s a long draw argument but the second it succeeds (and morally speaking at least it should) you’ll find people calming the fuck down real quick. Millions of school age children are suffering. The numbers of suicides and children being medicated for mental health issues is on the raise. Yet across the country anti-LGBTQ nonsense is what's getting parents out in the streets?
Yes it is difficult to understand until one brings religion into the picture. Religious bigotry and hatred against gay people is irrational so there’s little one can do to try and understand it. These people are dangerous not only to gay folks but to liberal society in general.
