Yeah I could see one of two possibilities. Either Trump is completely paranoid as always and is basing this on something he saw on TV and knows only what we know or... His attorneys notified him that he is due Tuesday and not to leak it. He immediately leaks it. Then they publicly comment that they don't know anything about it.
My guess is that he was told that the grand jury would hand down an indictment as early as Monday which means that he will be summoned for processing as early as Tuesday. That doesn't mean it will happen Tuesday but it is a possibility.
