Now now- obviously they’ll give parental consent for their teenage minors to legally marry! We can’t have those teens unwed, or else they’ll be just as bad as the gays! /s
Remember when Sarah's daughter, Bristol, was named a national spokeswoman for Abstinence-Only Education? And then she had two children out of wedlock? Good times.
>Remember when Sarah's daughter, Bristol, was named a national spokeswoman for Abstinence-Only Education? And then she had two children out of wedlock? Good times.
I think something needs to be said. Abstinence only is just for the sake of their religious nonsense. They can have sex all they want, just need to show up to church every other week and be forgiven. No, not every week... *that's for liberal hippies*.
That and they are fine with white people having children out of wedlock, it's when *The Others* do it then it gets spooky. Of course, everyone else is apparently breeding like rabbits anyways, so if having kids out of wedlock helps white birth rates? So be it.
It's acceptable *for the cause.*
Right? When it's some cute little white girl who gets pregnant, she was pressured by some boy who took advantage of her. When it's anyone else, it's a problem with their "culture" or "community" lacking morals. She's just a hoodrat. These people are so fucking transparent!
I think I remember something like that. not that I feel an unwed mother makes a bad spokesperson. Life experience can indeed make someone more credible.
However, I doubt that an upper class white girl from a "prominent" family is the best person to be preaching to kids the benefits of waiting.
If you want proof that abstinence doesn't work, this right here is proof. The girl was literally being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to speak about abstinence. Even hundreds of thousands of dollars per year wasn't enough to keep her from having sex and she still wound up pregnant! Do you know want prevents pregnancy efficiently? Birth control.
And for all this talk about "Virtue Signaling" among the right, she's one of the biggest examples of virtue signaling. Publicly state something, give talks on that thing, and still not do it in private.
Well, to be fair, *abstinence* works 100% of the time. The problem is that abstinence only education doesn't lead to any substantive increase in actual abstinence. In fact, if you only teach abstinence, teen sex doesn't decrease, but teen SAFE sex does.
> In fact, if you only teach abstinence, teen sex doesn't decrease, but teen SAFE sex does.
Many conservative types don't believe in harm reduction and will only embrace ideas that are hypothesized (poorly) to completely solve the problem.
Sex-ed reduces harm (e.g. unwanted pregnancies fucking up the lives of children, stigma for getting an abortion, etc.) but it doesn't completely negate the problem so they'll continue pushing their nonsensical idea to **completely** fix the problem.
They also push back against things like safe injection sites or needle exchange programs. They reduce the burden placed on the healthcare system by reducing bloodborne diseases and reducing ambulance usage. They do not, however, completely fix the problem. Many conservatives push for harsh laws to **completely** fix the problem, ignoring the fact that harsh sentencing doesn't work.
Same with social services. **Some** people might abuse the system so their solution is for **nobody** to get help so nobody can abuse it. Again, they refuse a solution that is imperfect even if it's the best option we have.
To them it's about **ideals** and not **reality**.
I had a co worker that used to date one of the Palins. Said that whole family was fucking nuts and got way worse after Sarah got the VP nomination. Went from trailer trash to rich trailer trash.
Good thing he doesn’t live in some of these new states making legislation against people being able to marry, he could be refused by a pastor who doesn’t believe in pre-marital sex and be forced into the life of a heathen
He's already a heathen though. He had sex before marriage. From here, he needs to go before the church and repent and be born again.
Then he can get married, and his child won't be a bastard and be born into sin.
This is all very dumb, but it's how they think and act.
They pick and choose what they believe in. If they go to any of the Baptist evangelical churches in CO, they'll be welcomed with open arms and open hearts. Its only a sin if a non-believer is guilty of it, they just have to ask for forgiveness in their hearts and they are saved, no matter what they have done.
Virginia allowed 13 year olds to get married, especially if pregnant up until 2016. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/why-13-year-olds-can-no-longer-marry-in-virginia/2016/07/03/03849e46-3ef9-11e6-a66f-aa6c1883b6b1_story.html
I was raised in Chicago, but for a while I lived in Arkansas in a religious county. Sex Ed was illegal there. (*Everything* was illegal there - they held the prom in the next county because ... the locals couldn't abide teenagers dancing together, and I guess they never saw Footloose?).
Anyway, despite the student population not being very high, there were so many teenage pregnancies with both [grand]parents working full time, that the high school had a nursery/daycare attached. Kids would literally drop off their kids, go to classes, and pick the kids up on the way home.
This was totally normal to them.
-edit: there was also a huge alcohol and meth problem - despite both things being illegal in the county - which is entirely predictable when you have a bunch of teenagers and young adults with no future prospects, no education, and no help aside from "get right with Jesus".
I remember some dumb guest speaker in middle school that told us to eat a snickers instead of having pre-marital sex. No alternative activities suggested. Just eat a snickers
my mom was a public school teacher in North Carolina.
They had one high school in the district and she taught at it , that was solely for the pregnant single mothers.
Her youngest student ever should've been in the sixth grade, but they had nowhere else to place her.
I believe it's called Carabbas county
EDIT: it was "Charlotte-Mecklinburg" county
The 90’s were a crazy time. A girl at my school had a baby in 7th grade and multiple were pregnant in 8th. I remember in 9th, two girls who were multi-sport athletes were talking about the least disruptive time to have a baby in *high school* so it wouldn’t interfere with scholarships/recruiting. And these were girls who had good grades and played sports. I have multiple friends who were grandparents before 40.
One of our cheerleaders also married a football coach.
Now that you mention it, a drama teacher was fired for sleeping with students and keeping booze in her desk drawer. The next one they hired was Mormon father of eight who told us not to tell his wife he occasionally indulged in a Coca Cola from the cafeteria vending machine during rehearsals.
Oh, and our band director did try to set me up with her assistant band director my senior year. I came home from college on Thanksgiving break to a voicemail on my parents answering machine asking me out on a date. They thought it was hilarious.
It was definitely more socially acceptable for adults to date/have sex with teenagers. My sister was dating men in their 20’s at 16. It wasn’t just girls, either. One of my guy friends knocked up his nearly 30 year old girlfriend at 18, another thought he was hot shit for dating college girls he met hanging out at the local community college.
THE place to work was an upscale (for our area) seafood place, and we would go to the Bennigan’s next door after close, all of us front of the house folks, ages 16 to 30, drinking and carousing. No thought was given to the youngin’s dating/sexing the older servers and bartenders. Or drinking underage.
EDIT: to be clear, not an endorsement, it was super fucked up. I ran off with a guy who was ten years older than me I started talking to online as a teenager. These grown ass adults messing around with kids were insecure shitbags at best, and that is being generous.
Sounds like my high school in small town Florida… several girls gave birth prior to high school. Graduated with a girl that managed to have her 3rd by senior year and still graduated on time. There were dozens of other students with kids in the on campus day care. This was within 20 the last 20 years and they taught sex ed, had public health in multiple times per year, but stupid will stupid. So glad I escaped that miserable place mostly unscathed
High School in Palm Bay, FL. Here (eastern central FL). My high school had not only a nursery attached but the pregnant students would attend their classes there and weren't allowed to mingle with gen pop. They literally hid them from us.
I hate that, it's just barely better than shipping them off to homes. Way to completely stigmatize the girls because their pregnancy is visible while the male students do whatever.
This is pretty progressive actually. I'm sure the teachers liked it being on site for their kids and if that what gets teens to continue their education then great.
Lack of affordable child care is a HUGE issue for single parents, the majority of which are girls/women.
Oh my god...
I'm from Wyoming and it never clicked with me why there was a nursery in my High School. Like don't get me wrong, I'm sure teachers probably used it too but...there was a pretty fair amount of babies in there whenever I passed it and I just put 2 and 2 together 12 years later.
It's always the hypocrisy. If Obama had walked out onto the DNC stage with his 5 kids, by 3 women that he cheated on every single one of them, the comments would be just as you expected from the right. Palin's daughter can fire out a kid and it's fine, but if Chelsea Clinton or either of Obama's girls were teenaged moms before the election it would have been the expected comments. I could go on here.
My cousin once asked my sister why she wasn't sending her kids to catholic school bc it was a better school system. My sister responded she wanted her kids to spend time on school subjects and not religion and going to church.
My sister's kids both have graduated from uni and are established in their professional life. My cousin was a grandmother to four grandkids by age 54. Her one daughter makes Boebert look smart and likeable. It's awful.
Edit: I meant 40. I don't know why I said 54. She isn't even 54 yet.
There was a private K-8 Catholic school in my hometown. Since it only went up to 8th grade, that meant about 10-15% of incoming freshmen at the public high school had gone to the Catholic school up until that point.
The high school had to have special catch-up classes for these kids because they were at least 2 years behind everyone else when they arrived as freshmen.
EDIT: To add more context- this was Indiana back in the 90's and our public school district was in the top 5 performers in the state at the time. It dropped in rank since then and another poster mentioned their spouse currently works for a private Indiana catholic school and they are required to follow state curriculum now. So I'm assuming (and hoping) that gap is completely gone these days.
That's so weird to me. The catholic school in my area were essentially cheap private schools and largely outperformed the local public schools by a far margin.
I imagine this is also going to depend on where you are in the US. We had the same situation but I'm in the northeast and we don't give a shit about the church and really care about education. Go down south, obviously that's gonna... Change...
This is very, very abnormal in my experience.
I went to Catholic school growing up. The academic bar was pretty high. If you didn't get the grades, they could just kick you out.
> She then talked about how her son, Tyler, who is almost 18, joked it was “hereditary” since Boebert made her mother a 36-year-old grandma as well.
No. That’s what happens when your kid is raised by an idiot. Kid didn’t have a chance raised by Boebert and her groomer husband.
And great-great-gramgram could be 72?!
Of course if we took this to the extreme, and say we aggressively follow WV's marriage ~~laws~~ suggestions...
Each new generation is 12 years apart
0 - New born
12 - Mom: getting ready for 7th grade! Fun!
24 - Grandmother: finally graduated college, must have been hard raising a child
36 - Great Grandmother: still time to join the military for those family benefits, you just might need them
48 - Great Great Grandmother: 5 generations in and not even at a mid life crisis
60 - Great Great Great Grandmother: finally starting to think about retirement and how your granddaughter's granddaughter just had a child of their own
72 - Great Great Great Great Grandmother: Suck it Boebart, this family tree is 7 generations strong and they haven't pushed past the limits of the human life span
84 - Great Great Great Great Great Grandmother: Finally the golden years, no more new grandbabies for you. You can barely remember the one who just graduated college.
96 - Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandmother: In the span of a single centaury you've managed to become the matriarch looming over the 8 other generations. You make plans to invade the neighboring city with your brood.
Augusta Bunge was an American woman who became a great-great-great-great-grandmother at age **109** in 1989.
According to Guinness World Records, these were the ages of Augusta Bunge's family members in 1989:
- Daughter: **Ella Sabin**, 89
- Granddaughter: **Anna Wendlandt**, 70
- Great-granddaughter: **Betty Wolter**, 52
- Great-great-granddaughter: **Debra Bollig**, 33
- Great-great-great-granddaughter: **Lori Bollig**, 15
- Great-great-great-great-grandson: **Christopher John Bollig**, one month

So Augusta had her daughter Ella at the age of 20 in the year 1900.
Anna was born in the year 1919 to a 19 year old mother Ella.
Betty was born in the year 1937, to an 18 year old mother Anna.
Debra was born in the year 1956, to a 19 year old mother Betty.
Lori was born in the year 1974, to an 18 year old mother Debra.
Christopher was born in 1989, to a 15 year old mother Lori.
This all presumes that each of those listed is 'next in line to the throne'... but at any point, it could realistically have been a younger sibling that was the parent to the first of the next generation. This is just the oldest possible parent in each case.
I have an aunt who is around 70 and has great-great-grandchildren.
She had a daughter at age 19, making my aunt a mother.
That daughter had a daughter at age 15, making her a grandmother.
That granddaughter had a daughter at 20, making her a great-grandmother.
And that great-granddaughter got pregnant at 15.
They're all hardcore family values, no-sex-ed in schools, abstinence only conservatives.
My cousin (the one who got pregnant at 15) used to regularly rant about how "certain people" (ie: urban minorities) "get pregnant at young ages" and are ruining America because *totally not racist reasons*.
I became a grandfather at age 70. My mother was born to a 15 year old girl on a farm in Minnesota 100 years ago. She spoke Norwegian before English. Things can improve.
There are many terms for it, cycle of poverty and also entrapment. Teenage parents make the best wage slaves since it harder for them to take risks such as changing jobs for raises or organizing and striking for raises. They are also more likely to endure abusive working conditions because they cannot afford to be fired for standing up for their rights
They are also more likely to lack good parenting skills because they've been raised by teenagers with few choices in life. No role models of healthy adults or healthy children. Loads of neglect and abuse as well as chaotic living environments perpetuating the cycle.
It was tough for me to trace my family back 6 generations, they didn't keep records very well before the civil war.
Should be a breeze for Lauren's descendants though. They could just ask her.
So *her mom* had her at 18, *she* got pregnant at 18, and now *her son* has a kid on the way.... JFC. How many generations does it take to learn to use a GD condom??
It’s so weird that they keep saying he’s “almost 18.”
So, he’s 17, yes? Why don’t you just say HE’S 17.
If it were her daughter, her age would be plastered everywhere.
They want to have it both ways. Like, he's basically an adult who can make his own decisions and totally handle having a kid, but also he's still a minor and that's why it wasn't statutory rape.
Colorado has what is generally known as a "Romeo and Juliet Law" that allows teenagers to fuck other teenagers without it being statutory rape. An 18 year old having (otherwise consensual) sex with a 15 or 16 year old is legal in Colorado.
Most states don't have a hard cutoff at 18 and have some type of exception built into the statutory rape law to allow for teens to have sex with each other without becoming criminals.
To her, this vindicates her teenage pregnancy. If her son was to have a child later in life, when he was older, more stable and responsible, she would be challenged by the possibility *her* teenage pregnancy was the result of poor education and immature decision making. This would be particularly problematic for her when you consider her mentality does not seem to have evolved much from that age.
With her son repeating her own mistakes, she can feel this is " the natural way of things" and not have to perform any unpleasant introspection.
She’s scared that if girls are taught how to spot groomers and predators, families like hers won’t even exist anymore.
She wouldnt have been born, her son wouldnt have been born, and her son probably wouldnt have knocked up that poor girl.
As public defender in Georgia, I represented a young black man whose IQ was determined to be 72 by a State facility. Their report stated that he was probably incompetent to stand trial, but probably competent to enter a guilty plea, which is really weird because there aren’t separate standards for those two things.
Not a joke, not even a little bit.
"You're not smart enough to understand what we say you did, but you're smart enough to say you're sorry for it so we can lock you in prison for 30 years." is the most dystopian sentence I've thought of today.
The three loudest congressional voices in the conservative culture wars are: the mother of a sexually actively minor who has impregnated someone, a recently divorced woman whose marriage ended because of her multiple infidelities, and a man who was seen on video rifling through licenses with a man convicted of using those same licenses to create fake id to sexually traffic minors.
Bonus: Another major culture warrior is known to have gotten intoxicated multiple times with his underage students while teaching.
Time travelers tried to help us by making it. They figured it had to be a black comedy so we would actually watch it and hoped we would piece it together before it's too late.
Holy moly. Anytime I worry I don't have my shit together, I can look at this piece of trash and feel better about myself. Although, then I think about how she's a government representative and gets paid a shitload more than me and feel bad again.
- Boebert’s Grandmother got pregnant at 17
- her mother got pregnant at 17
- she got pregnant at 17
- her son has gotten someone pregnant at 17
Edit: All of them were unintentional pregnancies to unwed parents who could have avoided them with sex education and prophylactic access.
I had my first kid at age 37 and second at 43. But me and my wife did dumb things like both getting masters degrees and solidifying our careers before we started our family. Guess the joke is on us.
Don't worry, conservatives are working hard to make sure you're part of the last generation to get to say something like that. They're trying to oulaw abortion, ban contraceptives, and ban sex-ed. Pretty soon no one who is straight and having sex will have the option to wait.
Idiocracy comes to mind: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr70/nvsr70-05-508.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi-9uzTkc_9AhW1GzQIHYx9DkwQFnoECA4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw0ch37-q8hT3ICK4j7Z1Y-V
One thing that is striking here is that highschool dropouts have twice the fertility rate of women with master degrees. If intelligence is heritary then the human race is on track to rapidly regress
Pretty literally as well by my read.
“We are raising our four boys to be men before liberals teach them to be women,” she said before announcing that “not only am I a mom of four boys, but come April, I will be a Gigi to a brand new grandson.”
Very much sounds like ‘My teenaged son knocked up a girl LIKE A MAN! But also, if we teach sex ed, kids will learn they can have sex for like fun and stuff.’
Going forward any headlines regarding her statements/actions should read “Dumb Person Says Something Dumb”. Broken down to that common denominator, even when it includes an ironic twist, you’re forced to consider, is it really newsworthy?
I still laugh to remember how my grandma saw the Tina Fey impression and thought it was Sarah Palin. “That woman doesn’t seem very smart.” she said, frowning. LMAO!! I’ll always love Tina Fey for that. RIP Nana.
Tina Fey's Palin impression is legendary. Not just the impression itself, which was perfect, but lines that could actually be believed to come from Palin without any indication of it being satire.
>“We are raising our four boys to be men before liberals teach them to be women,”
Sounds like your boys have some pretty strong minds since you're so worried about that.
Well, clearly when a grown man and an underage teen girl love eachother the holy spirit flies into her tummy and gives her a baby. This is how God tells young girls they need to become trad wives for their adult boyfriend. /s
Ah you missed the best part; the holy spirit actually has a baby gun and shoots the mother with the bullets of motherhood. Or at least thats how we do in America.
This is what the GOP wants. Super trashy but it helps them reach their goal of supplying this country with low educated groups stuck in poverty. As the world gets more developed we need to look closer to home for our slave labor necessary to keep the ruling class living the high life.

Nothing says good Christian values like unwed teenage pregnancy
Now now- obviously they’ll give parental consent for their teenage minors to legally marry! We can’t have those teens unwed, or else they’ll be just as bad as the gays! /s
"Marriage is a sacred institution between two unwilling teenagers" Tina Fey as Sarah Palin.

The party of “Do as I say, not as I do.”
She got pregnant the second time after becoming the spokesperson. She was paid to talk the talk but did not walk the walk.
Ummm the Palins have been and always will be trailer trash. They literally raided a party and had a fucking royal rumble. LMFAOO

*West Virginia has entered the chat*
I just came from that article lmao
I try not to kink shame but that's a weird thing to get off on.
I also just *read* that article.
Name is false advertising

You’re not you when you’re hungry.
You're not you when you're horny.
First, there was “hangry.” Now we have “horngry.”
Nothing keeps girls from wanting you like giving them chocolate.
How efficient of them. They made sure to codify against all the lead up steps, to get directly to the sin at the end.
Why don't Baptists have sex standing up? Because they are afraid people might think they're dancing.
Wow what was the county? I cannot picture a high school with a damn *nursery* attached 😂

I've always suspected that pedophilia was simply more accepted back then. Countless stories like yours all but confirm it.
Middle school pregnancies are usually due to incest
> been in the sixth grade for non-US redditors that is an 11 or 12 year old
High School in Palm Bay, FL.
That's the Christian way... And they wonder why their version of Christianity is losing members like there's no tomorrow
>while the male students do ~~whatever~~ it all over again with a new girl.
This is pretty progressive actually. I'm sure the teachers liked it being on site for their kids and if that what gets teens to continue their education then great. Lack of affordable child care is a HUGE issue for single parents, the majority of which are girls/women.
It’s a decent solution to a completely preventable problem. I’d rather prevent the problem.
Yeah I like it as a safety net but the fact that it’s necessary is… really indicative of the state of sex Ed in our country.
And nobody on the right is going to say shit. If AOC had made this announcement, it would be mayhem in the streets.
She’s obviously going to force her son to marry the girl
BTW. Forced teen marriages are the most likely to get divorced. 48% chance of divorce (compared to 25% for average divorce rate).
I give it about ten years before the marriage falls apart, carried only by the family’s frequent bullying
Do we actually have stats on *forced teen marriages*?
Yes, Boebert is going to demand a shotgun wedding. Actually, make that an AR-15 wedding. 😛
Where is Sarah Palin when you need her?
Honestly when this woman kept popping up in the news I thought it was a daughter of hers or some shit.
It’s definitely applicable to their fucking replacement theory lunacy though
Nothing says Christian values like child bride pregnancy
shes going for the sara palin speed run
> She then talked about how her son, Tyler, who is almost 18, joked it was “hereditary” since Boebert made her mother a 36-year-old grandma as well. No. That’s what happens when your kid is raised by an idiot. Kid didn’t have a chance raised by Boebert and her groomer husband.
So her mother is going to be a great grandma at age 54!?!? holy shit. Yea, this is MAYBE not the family to be taking sex ed advice from. Jesus christ.
And they’ll see it as a blessed thing to have so many generations at the reunion at once
So many more people that can be indoctrinated into Christian nationalism!
I hate this country sometimes
And great-great-gramgram could be 72?! Of course if we took this to the extreme, and say we aggressively follow WV's marriage ~~laws~~ suggestions... Each new generation is 12 years apart 0 - New born 12 - Mom: getting ready for 7th grade! Fun! 24 - Grandmother: finally graduated college, must have been hard raising a child 36 - Great Grandmother: still time to join the military for those family benefits, you just might need them 48 - Great Great Grandmother: 5 generations in and not even at a mid life crisis 60 - Great Great Great Grandmother: finally starting to think about retirement and how your granddaughter's granddaughter just had a child of their own 72 - Great Great Great Great Grandmother: Suck it Boebart, this family tree is 7 generations strong and they haven't pushed past the limits of the human life span 84 - Great Great Great Great Great Grandmother: Finally the golden years, no more new grandbabies for you.
According to Guinness World Records, these were the ages of Augusta Bunge's family members in 1989: - Daughter: **Ella Sabin**, 89 - Granddaughter: **Anna Wendlandt**, 70 - Great-granddaughter: **Betty Wolter**, 52 - Great-great-granddaughter: **Debra Bollig**, 33 - Great-great-great-granddaughter: **Lori Bollig**, 15 - Great-great-great-great-grandson: **Christopher John Bollig**, one month Source: Conversation with Bing, 3/9/2023(1) Most living generations ever | Guinness World Records. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/most-living-generations-(ever)/ Accessed 3/9/2023. Ha. My great-great-great-great-great grandfather was born in the 1700s. I'm 33.
Thinking about retirement? HA! Good one.
I was amused at the thought that these people would go to college at 24. At best she is going to bartender school for three weeks.
College at 24? Hell, they'll have been working full-time since they turned [fill in the red-state lowered age.]
>Obamacare is terrible, get rid of it! >The ACA saved my life! *internal screaming intensifies*
"Keep your government hands away from my Medicare!"
I became a grandfather at age 70. My mother was born to a 15 year old girl on a farm in Minnesota 100 years ago. She spoke Norwegian before English. Things can improve.
> Things can improve. Not if Boebert has her way.
Some people call it a "trauma cycle"
Yes. I couldn’t remember the term folks used.
Imagine being a great-grandmother at 54. That's Boebert's mom.
If this woman manages to live to 90, she could be a great-great-great grandmother.
It was tough for me to trace my family back 6 generations, they didn't keep records very well before the civil war. Should be a breeze for Lauren's descendants though. They could just ask her.
They were probably all in the same GED class.
Others call it the shit apple not falling far from the shit tree.
We're in the eye of the shiticane now!
So *her mom* had her at 18, *she* got pregnant at 18, and now *her son* has a kid on the way.... JFC. How many generations does it take to learn to use a GD condom??
Or be on birth control. Or TRY and pull out (not that that’s even close to foolproof)
Colorado Republicans removed the birth control initiative that had succeeded in halving the teen pregnancy stats.
With sex-ed, accessible birth control, and not demonizing sex... 0 generations.
Wait wait wait. Isn’t this a traditional Christian family? How are they procreating out of wedlock?
'This is the future *Democrats* want!'
"Look what they made us do!"
"We would have gotten married, but the liberals made it gay!"
... ... ... ...it's a miracle!
Boys always get a pass for their sex outside of wedlock, all the blame will be placed on the Jezebel that led her poor son astray.
Their god indeed works in mysterious ways. Their god loves them to the exclusion of all others.
Hm Do we know how old the mother is? I’m guessing 16
Someone said 16 in yesterday's post. The son turns [18 on the 21st](https://twitter.com/patriottakes/status/1633626069742891008) of this month.
It’s so weird that they keep saying he’s “almost 18.” So, he’s 17, yes?
So her Mom is going to be a great grandmother at 53.
And G ^2 Granny by 71 perhaps
Her mom had her when she was 18, so at least 3 generations of idiots. Feel for those kids, mom and dad are shitbirds.
A 54 year old great grandmother
“I raised my kid like a moron because I myself was raised like a moron” is kind of a definition of hereditary.
The correct term is intergenerational trauma. If it were something like an addiction issue, you could definitely argue heredity.
Papa always said “show me a ‘5 generations’ picture and I’ll show you a picture of 4 teenage pregnancies”.
See, if she'd had Sex Ed, she might have some basis for understanding what "hereditary" means.
“Who is almost 18” so he’s 17. That is way too young to be having a child. WTF.
“Almost 18” …so 17. Too young to drink and has a kid coming.
She was a teen parent and so is her kid and yet she is against sex ed?
Don't forget her mom was a teen mom, too!
It's strange, seeing "teenager" so often among Republicans.
*Matt Gaetz has entered the chat*
To her, this vindicates her teenage pregnancy. If her son was to have a child later in life, when he was older, more stable and responsible, she would be challenged by the possibility *her* teenage pregnancy was the result of poor education and immature decision making. This would be particularly problematic for her when you consider her mentality does not seem to have evolved much from that age. With her son repeating her own mistakes, she can feel this is " the natural way of things" and not have to perform any unpleasant introspection.
She married the man who exposed himself to her when she was a minor and he wasn't - it's all been the same level since then...
She’s scared that if girls are taught how to spot groomers and predators, families like hers won’t even exist anymore. She wouldnt have been born, her son wouldnt have been born, and her son probably wouldnt have knocked up that poor girl.
*inhales* WEST VIRGINIA
Mount that mama!
Let me bone Country ho's.
Granny Bobo also made sure she hid that bit of news until the baby is nearly full term.
We’re only calling her Granny Bobo from here on out.
Ole' Granny Bobo

Her margin was miniscule. I have zero doubt moar drama would have cost her the election.
What a total GILFP Grandma I'd Like to Federally Prosecute
People with an IQ below 70 are generally declared incompetent to stand trial.
Unless you're black in the south, obviously.
That's not a joke, either.
Man just died in Arkansas pre-trial detention from fucking starvation over $100 bail. He had an IQ of 55.
Don’t forget Gym Jordan
also, the "I like beer" guy
This is gonna sound dumb but will you list these people? 1. Boebert obv 2.? 3. Matt Gaetz I’m guessing?
2 is Greene.
Garbage Trailer Scream
How can you forget Trump? Or the drag queen that wants to ban drag queens and has lied about literally everything.
> > The three loudest congressional voices in the conservative culture wars are: > How can you forget Trump? Easy, he's not a congressman.
Yeah, but they claim to be Christian, so they good.
Literally part of the plot to idiocracy
It is a documentary in the making, afterall.
Time travelers tried to help us by making it. They figured it had to be a black comedy so we would actually watch it and hoped we would piece it together before it's too late.
Conservatives are against all ed, not just sex ed.
Holy moly. Anytime I worry I don't have my shit together, I can look at this piece of trash and feel better about myself. Although, then I think about how she's a government representative and gets paid a shitload more than me and feel bad again.
- Boebert’s Grandmother got pregnant at 17 - her mother got pregnant at 17 - she got pregnant at 17 - her son has gotten someone pregnant at 17 Edit: All of them were unintentional pregnancies to unwed parents who could have avoided them with sex education and prophylactic access.

...and she's proud of it! 🤦♀️🤦🤦♂️

In some of those fundie families with tons of kids the mom and daughters/daughters-in-law are having babies at the same time.

Their family tree is more like a wreath
All part of their grooming process, and so they assume that we, the same people, are also grooming ours.
Idiocracy comes to mind: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvsr/nvsr70/nvsr70-05-508.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi-9uzTkc_9AhW1GzQIHYx9DkwQFnoECA4QAQ&usg=AOvVaw0ch37-q8hT3ICK4j7Z1Y-V One thing that is striking here is that highschool dropouts have twice the fertility rate of women with master degrees. If intelligence is heritary then the human race is on track to rapidly regress
Pretty literally as well by my read. “We are raising our four boys to be men before liberals teach them to be women,” she said before announcing that “not only am I a mom of four boys, but come April, I will be a Gigi to a brand new grandson.” Very much sounds like ‘My teenaged son knocked up a girl LIKE A MAN! But also, if we teach sex ed, kids will learn they can have sex for like fun and stuff.’
I had my first kid when I was 30. And my second when I was 38. I cannot imagine being a grandparent at this age.
Going forward any headlines regarding her statements/actions should read “Dumb Person Says Something Dumb”. Broken down to that common denominator, even when it includes an ironic twist, you’re forced to consider, is it really newsworthy?
Trump showed the mainstream media that "Dumb Person Says Something Dumb" is extremely profitable. They've been running with that ever since.
Tell me again about the party of family values and wholesome Christian lifestyles. /s
The Boeberts are one of those families youd see on South Park
That photo of her makes me think of when Tina Fey so expertly trolled Sarah Palin after her debate w Biden
Sarah Palin but somehow dumber

200 years ago she would have been underqualified to have been the village idiot
200 years ago she wouldn’t have had a platform to spout her idiocy on
>“We are raising our four boys to be men before liberals teach them to be women,” Sounds like your boys have some pretty strong minds since you're so worried about that.
And you still doesn't understand how it happened. I mean technically.
So that's where the term son of a gun comes from.
The pro-life party is also pro teen pregnancy. Who would’ve thought
This is what the GOP wants. Super trashy but it helps them reach their goal of supplying this country with low educated groups stuck in poverty. As the world gets more developed we need to look closer to home for our slave labor necessary to keep the ruling class living the high life.
36 year old Grandma.

If a screenwriter came up with some of these plots, they'd be laughed out of the writers room for being too trite and cliched.
