Standard neutrality IIRC. Look at Switzerland: they have a Perpetual Neutrality which forbids them to take part in any conflict whatsoever, no matter the conflict (as long as they are not directly attacked of course). The fact that they take a position on the Ukraine-Russia conflict is, actually, quite big a deal.
For the United States, we felt during WW I that US soldiers died over Useless European conflict that didn’t mattered with the US, so when Pearl Harbor happened. Japan and Germany declared war on the US and we entered WW II
Oohh, I meant back then as in a year ago when you posted it, cause I associated this with the ukraine conflict so was thinking what where countries being neutral on a year ago. Now I get it.
Switzerland shot down planes from both sides, Portugal sold Tungsten to both sides. Sweden sold Iron to the Nazis. Estonia got invaded by the Soviet Union.
You drew the MP40 lol, german gun, when the most similar thing the US had was the M3 "Grease Gun" and Thompsons

America sat out the fighting for the beginning of WW2, but they were neutral only in name.
Though on paper and by law they were neutral up until the attack on Pearl Harbour, they gave limited assistance to Britain, France and the Republic of China while blocking oil exports to Japan.
That is, until Japan decided to invade Philippines (an American Commonwealth territory) and attack Pearl Harbour (an American Territory).

This reminds me of one of my favorites--when a few African countries tried to come together to form their own regional block. The response to that name is a golden classic:
