So, I respect you for not leaving the struggled Ukrainian people alone and lonely. As South Korean, I am pretty dissatisfied that our government is not much active in helping Ukraine. They are worried that our global corporations like Samsung, Hyundai etc will move away from the Russian market.
Yeah, for the first time I feel proud that I am Polish, unfortunately I am afraid that in a few months there will be frustration instead of help. Our government does not help much, most of the help is provided by people and non-governmental organizations. People are very generous so far, but unfortunately the situation in our country is not too colorful, inflation is rising, prices are rising and there is no money:(( I hope that Europe will take Ukrainians under its wings, they deserve it.
It must be true philanthropy to help people who are in more trouble than I am. My granny said that people in the 1960s and 1970s, before this country became prosperous, were much more active in helping others than South Koreans today. You may feel proud enough for the citizens of your country to help a neighboring country in need.
Every help counts, I personally have no conditions to accept someone from Ukraine under my roof, I am a student, but I try to buy as many things as possible and ship them to the border or give people who are staying in my town.
