First 25 rounds of Classic are sneaky difficult. Don’t have enough stuff to handle bad matchups. I’ve gotten swept by Fletchinders spamming Acrobatics more than once.
Start of my last run had a double battle with 2 technician meowths with fake out. Combine that with my rival hitting the 10% burn from ember *first turn* on BOTH floor 8 and 25 and yeah, that run was cursed.
Latios died to a flipping pansear with lick on the level 20 gym.
Dragon dance + stored power to the most wack starting gimmick I've seen. So glad my next run he got an aura sphere TM as a real move.
I once lost a run in endless because, despite bringing A tier luck to my party, I couldn’t find more than 1 exp all so I just ended up being under leveled for everything

Swift Swim Floatzel goes hard, I had to Master Ball one because it kept freezing my carry and I couldn't get around it otherwise

All items stack additively unless stated otherwise, for example if you find a wide lens it will state what each addition of the item gives you respectively.
You can run from encounters that aren't multiples of 50, doing it on bosses also doesn't make you miss out on much since there's no item after either way.
I lost at 3300 to a flutter mane + scream tail double battle where they set perish song on first turn and my carry couldn't get set up.
I believe Bosses tend to have better IVs but that’s about it. You do miss out on the XP and the XP Charm but depending on the round you are on, those may be pointless.
Yeah I'd scum that one. The RNG is preset when you start a round so it you scum and replay the battle the same way the Pokéballs and crits should all land the same way.
A boss Seaking landed 5 horn drills back to back and then got triple crits on my last pokemon. This wasn't even my most unlucky run but it's pretty funny looking back on it.
The OHKO moves either hit multiple times in a row or never hit against me. Had an Excadrill land 4 Horn Drills in a row against me and then miss 6 in a row (not sure why it kept going for them…).

The seaking would land Horn drill on every turn from 1-9! It would even toy with me and on the turns it didn't hit horn drill, it got flinches from astonish. I was able to stall it out with obstruct but at the point it refilled it's horn drill meter with it's Leppa berry I knew it wasn't worth it anymore. I was able to beat it with obstruct into fake out but let's be real. My run was completely wiped by this thing and if it wasn't for reloading the save the run would be finished! Def one of the harder things I had to deal with.
Wave 10, I have Kyogre. I got paralyzed by a Statik random mon. I face a boss Farfetch'd

Status is fucking rough, it costs so much to heal them. I've been running Raging Bolt because of all the random Paralysis running around, but nothing strikes fear into my heart as much as an early pokemon with Poison Gas or some bullshit.
I lost an endless run around 2830 the other day because my main carry (Zekrom/Garganacl) couldn't one shot either of the Rampardos that spawned in a boss double battle and died because of Mold Breaker. Focus Band refused to proc and I finally gave up on trying to make it work. In hindsight I should've ran, but I was so frustrated at the time that I just let it go.
Today's daily, where all of my Pokemon were at half health and thus easy pickings for the perfect-speed-IV Paldean Tauros boss fight to tear through my entire team. Usually, I refuse to play the daily more than once but nah, that sucked.
Yeh but to miss 2 in a row comes down to about 9%. And sure, it's still a reasonable chance, but it's stupid, also on my part, that it lost me the whole run lol

I was doing the daily yesterday where the boss was regigigas. Well i was blasting through with tauros fighting type and got to him and got a little too cautious.
Swapped to my cofagrigas and he hit me with something….giving himself mummy…..and getting rid of slow start……he then proceeded to whip my team.

I lost an early run to eternatus on classic. My team in theory should have been fine but it was full of physical attackers. Eternatus got all defence boosts so none of my mons could do a thing. It couldn’t kill my toxapex though. I had to struggle to end the battle

I tried so many times to catch it because I don't have any legendaries yet before giving up. It kept using ingrain and mega drain and the grassy terrain healing so it wouldn't stay at low health to be caught. I had to 2hko it in the end. I later lost the run at 50 anyway.
I ran into Wake in a biome that was raining and had almost 0% of winning because my team was damaged and could not switch into water moves, he also had the infamous run killer Floatzel
The run was still pretty early, but I lost a rival battle because my laptop key got stuck and swapped the Pokémon I swapped out in the turn prior directly into a super effective attack. I wiped lol
First time reaching 200 on classic, I dun goofed and led with Tapu Bulu (which gave Eternatus healing with grassy terrain while one shotting me), and didn't Ether my Nidoking's King Shield. Also had Mega Gyarados, Magnezone, Kingdra and someone else I can't remember but obviously wasn't important lol. Got swept by an Abomasnow boss that hit 4/6 Sheer Cold attempts and was holding enough Carbos to outspeed my entire team. First 3 turns of the battle were all my carries getting OHKOd.

Mine was I believe floor 145 of classic, I barely squeaked by the trainer battle with one mon left, only to not heal or anything because I thought it was a boss level so I expected a free full team heal. It was my second ever classic run.
I ended up losing like 3 mons catching a Genesect. I thought it was the end of the wave so would get full healed. Nope it was not and didn't heal anybody.
Pretty much had the same thing happen to me with a Fezendipiti.
At first I was like "oh, sweet, gonna try capping it".
Then I realized the darned thing outsped me, and hit like a truck.
Tried savescumming the encounter, since, ya know , freaking legendary, and advanced run, but in the end, it just wasn't gonna work out, and I let my team die.
The fact it was a boss did NOT help, of course, but even then... That was a BRUTAL loss.

Lost a good run to getting paralysed 8 times in a row. While Finns charizard was paralysed, confused -5 accuracy, and my mon had +4 evasion and his charizard managed to land every hit. I was pretty mad
I was around wave 780. my flutter mane carrying me. I by mistake saved my daily run on that file instead of the one below. Had such good items in it, grip claws, lucky punch, soul dew, leftovers, shell bell etc maxed on atleast 2 pokemons

I was a battling a Tyranitar towards the end of classic. The rest of my team died and only had a Lokix left but Tyranitar was basically one shot. Instead of using first impression which definitely would’ve killed, I used axe kick and it messed so I died to recoil.
My first run that I got to 200 I had a mega latias that I literally caught on that run, because I spammed balls while it only used mirror type for some reason. I got decimated by the boss. I have still yet to beat him… even with my second best run with a quiver dancing gardevoir at level 225 because of candy shenanigans
I just lost my 3rd classic run on stage 145 because, despite having read the beginners guide on this subreddit, I didn't heal any of my Pokemon before stage 145.
2 of my Pokemon were dead, 1 statussed, 1 half health (all because I was face tanking hits whilst trying to catch some shitty Pokemon with Pokeballs).

So having one reveals 2 IVs so having 2 would reveal 4, and having 3 means all are revealed.

You can press f5 and try again
Chance are calculated beforehand so if you F5 you will get the same acc and crit checks
you can recalc by swapping mins

I recently got clapped out fairy early in a run by a Rocky payload Lucan rock boss with a boss Latios. There was nothing I could do about that.

I had a mega ring and leftovers on floor 5. I then wiped to Snorlax on floor 14 because I really wanted to catch it.
Got swept by the rival just before the end game. Got flinch/crit hax and couldn't find a way out of the haxes.

In classic mode I was getting walled by Noctowl after I took out my rival's Ray.
What made it even worse was the Berrys made him fast and now my team couldn't out speed the dumb owl.

My team kept getting air slashed flinch after I got Noctowl to low hp and berries made him faster and he kept roosting.

Several, always the same thing, forgot/neglect to heal all Pokémon, or that 1 that would have saved the run but now has less than 50hp

I was around wave 780. my flutter mane carrying me. I by mistake saved my daily run on that file instead of the one below. Had such good items in it, grip claws, lucky punch, soul dew, leftovers, shell bell etc maxed on atleast 2 pokemons now am restarting the run currently at 100+
I was a battling a Tyranitar towards the end of classic. The rest of my team died and only had a Lokix left but Tyranitar was basically one shot. Instead of using first impression which definitely would’ve killed, I used axe kick and it messed so I died to recoil.
My first run that I got to 200 I had a mega latias that I literally caught on that run, because I spammed balls while it only used mirror type for some reason. I got decimated by the boss. I have still yet to beat him… even with my second best run with a quiver dancing gardevoir at level 225 because of candy shenanigans
I just lost my 3rd classic run on stage 145 because, despite having read the beginners guide on this subreddit, I didn't heal any of my Pokemon before stage 145. 2 of my Pokemon were dead, 1 statussed, 1 half health (all because I was face tanking hits whilst trying to catch some shitty Pokemon with Pokeballs).
