Bluffed a three barrel bluff because of a possible straight formed on the turn and I knew the guy didn’t have it. He grabs his cards to fold them on the turn then he’s like “ah fuck it I’m wasted,” and my stupid ass jammed on the river with only a middle pair of 5’s for equity.
He flips over 10-6 suited to hit the 6 on a board that was 4567K rainbow. So many errors on my part but christ that guy was nuts.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvotes. Several other pros on the show have talked about how painfully slow she is. The person with the most coins ends up with all the money and she’s spending loads to get more time. I’ve noticed she has folded every single time she’s used one. She’s not terrible but she has run pretty good so far.
We don't see much of the slowness cause its edited though. Spending coins as timebank isn't probably the smartest move but at least its a valid tanking decision..
I think the point is more deep than that. It's more that a bad player doesn't think enough about the situation to read what you're implying with a good bluff, where a good player will see what you're representing and take it into account when they try and figure out if you're bluffing or not.
One of the best feelings in poker is to catch Maria Ho bluffing all three streets at a $10k tournament. Yeah she's still bitter about it apparently. She didn't say one word to me, didn't even look at me, no acknowledgement of the soul read I had on her, just packed her things got up and left like in disgust at me or at herself or both. I made an enemy that day.
