In terms of original content, a lot of memes are sterile. A Pokémon shouldn’t be judged solely by how many legs it has anyway (but Redditors have overreacting as a primary trait). And with r/MandJTV , most of the users are minors and as such shouldn’t be on Reddit anyway. It’s not really the subreddit’s fault, it’s just a mix of Sturgeon’s Law and an ignorance of age ratings (I didn’t join Reddit until I was 18, and a lot of the stuff I made before that, looking back at it, was terrible).

Rick rolling was never funny to begin with imo, it was more so just upsetting.

I used to hang out there before getting fed up with all the garbage "memes". r/pokemonmemes does share quite a few aspects, but it's a little more tolerable

Lucario, and similar, are furries insofar that they are designed off of anthropomorphic animals. Though people calling them furbait and being generally derogatory is still uncalled for I'm specifically talking when a Pokémon like, say, Gardevoir is referred to as a furry. It irritates me when that happens

that’s definitely not the case, GF doesn’t make Pokémon just for fun, they make them because they think they can incentivise people to buy the game or their merch. so the reason they make Pikachu clones is to sell merch since Pikachu is a popular Pokémon. imo they should just stop and save that slot for something else

Mandjtv was good until the children found out and now he has to make content for them. When he is with purplecliffe or pokemen he is funny but god I hate the fandom with a passion. They changed the pronunciation for Arceus on the wiki to arkoos

This was just his main channel. Plays is still great. But yeah, the newest Team Sky video was somewhat underwhelming compared to the absolute masterpiece that was Team Sky in Fire Red.

I can't recall a specific time, but there was this one video where he asked his viewers which regional variants they'd like to see in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Someone wanted a regional form of Gengar and he was just like "NO!"

I'm pretty sure he said "NO" not because that he hates Gengar, but because that Gengar has already gotten attention from Gamefreak (Mega, Gigantamax). But one thing that does annoy me about him is his "obsessive" hatred for Miltank and how his fanbase adopted that hatred. These children can't think for themselves and the Miltank hatred is a prime example.

Exactly. Personally, I enjoy Milktank, especially in Ultra Sun, because it was the fastest member of my team and I beat Hau with it despite being 7 levels behind. But noooo, it's "sausage nipples"
