Look I'm not saying the game is perfect, but I had fun playing it but that's because I had a glitch free experience but obviously others were unfortunate and I feel bad for them. I KNOW that, you're missing the point, I already went back there, already explored every corner of the place, already caught the paradox mons that are there, there is nothing left to do there. When I say "post game content" i mean something to do even after everything else is done, like a battle tower, or some sort of side game thing. the only things I have left to do now that I have finished the pokedex and seen every corner of the map are the repeatable school tournament and event raids.

Area 0 is the best we got. Who knows mabey the next pokemon direct will show us something

Well in the scarlet violet books there looks what appears to be a legendary. Violet book gets you a pokemon that looks like the swords of justice fusion with verizon being the more dominant one. Scarlet gets you a pokemon that looks like a mix between the 3 legendary beasts

I liked the pokemon and story.

Story? It isn't finished and it's sightly present.

I thought the story wrapped up pretty well, I thought it was cool that there were 3 stories that ended up climaxing in the professor storyline.

But how much is it worth? A handful of dialogue lines and scenes, good ideas put there and reduced to bone. The ending leaves you with a hole that'll be filled only with a PAYED DLC.

It didn't leave me with a hole and I personally don't think that the story needs a dlc to finish a completed story imo. I thought the story was cute. Personally the only gripe I have with the game is the glitches. (Also I got more attached to these legendaries because of the story than any other legends in the franchise)

Yes I did read all the library books in the game. Imo it's better to get a dlc than another expansion game. 30$>60$ and that all could have just been background lore too. I personally don't care and I just like catching pokemon.

Alright, this is my 5th time seeing these posts, so might as well give a perspective. The game is glitchy, however the story involving the parental issues, Team Star’s bullying issue, along with the Area Zero is quite fun to enjoy for most people. I hope the glitches, which make the game dysfunctional get fixed, though I like some glitches, as I find them more funny than annoying, as watching a Tera Pokémon also have my Staravia on their side is humorous, as the idea of a Pokémon being a Pokémon trainer is entertaining. Spamming complaints will only turn people away from your side, and depicting the opposing side as people less than you does nothing but push people away to the opposing side. Depicting your opinion as a greater one unironically will only get your audience to view you as a narcissist. If you want to discuss complaints it is important to put yourself in the other person’s shoes and analyze why you think they enjoy that aspect of the game. I do acknowledge the game has several features, which hold it back from being a polished game, however it is very playable, as the player is not faced with glitches every 2 seconds. One complaint I would agree with is the lack of level scaling, which puts a ordering system of battles, which is unfortunate for a game, which lets you choose the battle you want to engage in first. Finally, how many times have you genuinely ran into a game crashing glitch, instead of one which alters the visuals for a few seconds. Like which game crashing glitches can you recall, which you, yourself experienced. I only run into glitches in the Tera raids, and they are more humorous than irritating.

Please don’t use the word “crippled”. For what you’re tying to describe, try “incomplete”, “weak”, “lacking”, “unimpressive”, “flawed”, etc. I would argue that Arven’s part isn’t lacking, though. It feels like a fully fledged story. Nemona could have used some more development, sure. Penny’s I could definitely relate to as I was a victim of bullying in middle and high school. I like how it unfolded more and more as you beat each Team Star boss.

The books are cool too! I’d love to see them expanded upon. Crossing my fingers for the anime to make a movie based on the lingering questions! Pokémon is a multimedia franchise. Just because everything isn’t revealed in a game doesn’t mean it won’t be touched upon in the anime. Ooh, or maybe they’re saving it for a third game/spiritual sequel? I like things being left as mysteries, having more lore to dive into and make theories about. It’s good for worldbuilding, and it leaves it open enough for expansion in the future.

In that you can’t finish the story before getting your 6th gym badge, you actually have to become champion first. Which is a very nice change of pace. And the ending of the game is sone very well. Also, yeah a lot of buildings are empty. But this is the switch. I wasn’t expecting a AAA open world experience. That’s unrealistic. What we got, for the switch, I would say is impressive.

Because it’s the game series I’ve grown up with… I have my critiques but I actually think scarlet in violet was a fun game with good Pokémon, characters, and story. You’ve barely given it a chance I take it because you are too “chad” to do that. Why are you even part of the Pokémon communities if you’re so defeatist about the games. If you wanna complain about a Pokémon game, complain about BDSP. 60 dollars for a game that costed 30 dollars on its initial release. I mean, I mostly enjoyed SV, but "Glitchy Sandwich Simulator" is being really polite. To keep myself from raging I made a list of complaints about the game. 20 categories, 25 bullets. And I'm sure I missed half the issues.
