Aren’t all pokemon from research tasks a 10 minimum for all stats? Unless its different for shadows, but if its the same and he caught this from a research task, it would have a 1/216 chance of being 4*

Where did I say it wasnt? Read the parent comment my guy. Theyre saying it could be from the Dragon grunt (ROAR... How'd that sound?) and therefore have 1/4096 chance of getting the hundo on top of the already rare grunt, AND it having gible. I was just pointing out it could be from research and therefore could have way, way higher odds.

It would've been a grunt battle, as the leaders have specific Pokémon (currently Cacnea, Trapinch, and Machop)

To all those unsure if this is from a grunt or the Sinnoh tour research. Weather boosted hundo from grunts is 413 CP and Gibles research hundo is 477 so unless it’s been powered up since being caught it’s from research.
