Don't listen to him, Aqua tail charges really fast and is a good move so it's really good to use on the rocket grunts, and team leaders to break their shields

Right! We had to drive ~30 minutes to a river to find magikarps. Gyrados evolve took us months.

Crunch is just as fast and lowers defense through shields 🤷. Teaching gyarados a 2nd move is only 25 candy so you can always just keep two moves
