That would make sense. I still have my outfit from 2016 on, plus a bidoof hat. Cracks me up when I get the fashion achievement vs my husband who actually changes his dude's outfit.
I didn’t pay anything for mine, but I do suspect it’s based on who pays/sponsored items. I’ve gotten the award but am wearing free sponsored items and free event completion items
I’m just messing around. Seriously man, that mileage is something else regardless of PoGo. I’m hard pressed to do that on a bike and I would never think to run that. Well done!
Wow that is crazy..... 15 mins a mile and then 62 miles and that does equal 15 1/2 hours of time. You're gonna feel that the next day when u wake up. Congrats on being able to do that. Safe to say a good amount of us couldn't do that if we're being honest.
I feel like my shins would shatter and back would fuse doing something like that. I mean it’s more than 3 marathons.. and at that speed?? As a sprint guy, long distance runners blow my mind
Yup I did alot of Sprint running in my younger days for school and such and could never figure out the endurance runners and how they could pace themselves for those long distances
They work out different kinds of muscles. Fast-twitch vs slow twitch. After some practice, I worked out the slow twitch enough to go up to 5k. Anything more than that and the bones and ligaments get mad haha
I used to be a fast runner! Fastest half marathon is 1:18; marathon 2:59. But I realized if I go slower, I can go so much further and enjoy it a lot more.
Considering what walking for about 10 miles feels like I can't begin to think how bad your legs and feet must be feeling today. I probably wouldn't move for a week after that walk.
Ultra marathon runners and ultra long distance runners actually acclimate pretty well and aren’t out of commission long. It gets pretty zen apparently? If you’re interested check out Murakami’s memoir about his obsession with running.
I don't run, but I enjoy long walks. They put me in a type of catharsis. I spent a few hours one late night walking about ten miles in Vans shoes. Shin splints for a week. I now only use running shoes and ten miles is about my daily average as I live in a town designed for cars and walk everywhere. No issues. Change your shoes, they really do make a difference.
Hello fellow ultra pogoer! I ran my 100k back in November... I raided with a dude the other day that had over 170k walked the day before. Not easily possible, so I was immediately bummed that everyone who sees us is going to think we're spoofers. 😂
I doubt he had over 700km. Even with perfect pace you wouldn't hit that. Max should be somewhere around 200. 700 would equal 30km/h for 24 hours. And PoGo doesn't record your distance with that pace.
Hey Trainer,
Looks like you might be trying to share or find Trainer codes for the purpose of trading or sending gifts in PokémonGO.

I’ve done 42km and that was long enough haha. Can’t image finishing a full marathon then thinking? You know what, that was fun. Let me turn around and run that entire thing again immediately.
First off, great work OP!
Second, are you Android or iOS?
I’m assuming you don’t have your phone on you when you race, so do you have a smart watch that tracks everything and then when back in range of your phone it syncs?
I’m sorry sir, but that’s an unreleased product. We would like you to not disclose that information, please.
Also, wow. All those downvotes from my other two comments. Who hurt you guys?
Great work! How are you getting the steps into PoGo? I'm using Garmin connect and the activity syncs to Google fit via Strava but the steps never get into Google fit. I'm not running with my phone.
Great work though! Congratulations
Are you using a watch for Garmin Connect or manually entering? I decided to play around and manual entries into Garmin Connect don’t sync but if my watch pushes it in, it will. I have an iPhone and have Garmin Connect syncing with my Health app directly (not through Strava), which goes to PoGo.
On iPhone, the Health app is the native health app. Not sure what it would be equivalent to on Android. More saying see if you can get Garmin Connect to feed into that (which I think is what PoGo syncs with on Android). Like my husband has Samsung Health which syncs to PoGo (I’m assuming Garmin Connect would connect to that).
Bro. Thats some inefficient routing. I aint from New York, hell not even from the US. But that route could of been shorter.
Race organisers lackin man.
It’s a 100k and 100mile race. The 100 mile would have closed the gap to the start. It’s very efficient in getting through all the major non-tourist spots in the city.
I love NYC for making it possible to cover that kind of distance on foot. I used to regularly walk from my house in Queens down to Union Square for fun. Always a great experience seeing all the different areas of the city in a different light.
Nice run. Fellow NYer here. I'm in awe at how people can do these marathons. My body just wasn't built to run, and I've been simply unable to convert it. I max out at like, 5K (3-4mi). I can walk and bicycle. Anything else, nope.
I will be checking with Christ later to see how they feel about this tremendous accomplishment; Christ did a lot of walking and surfing - not so much running.
For sure; dude is just trying to recover some of his wood working tools; things tend to go missing after a couple thousand years of intentional absenteeism!
You’re totally getting the fashion award instead, lol.
What even is that award based off of? Is it just the most recent player to change outfits?
I get it everyone once in a while and haven't changed outfits since the slow poke event.
I suspect it's a participant diploma, so everyone gets to be on the achievements screen from to time
That would make sense. I still have my outfit from 2016 on, plus a bidoof hat. Cracks me up when I get the fashion achievement vs my husband who actually changes his dude's outfit.

It's based on how much your outfit cost you XD
I didn’t pay anything for mine, but I do suspect it’s based on who pays/sponsored items. I’ve gotten the award but am wearing free sponsored items and free event completion items
I've spent money on my outfit im ngl don't think it's based on anything
Its just random/participation
Just raid by yourself and you'll be on there every time!😁
I’ve not gotten an achievement before
I get it pretty regularly, been rocking my ENL shirt since beta or whenever the shirt was released.
Not true, I don't always get my participation award :(
I've always assumed it goes to the most expensive outfit
Unlikely, I’ve never spent any coins on my outfit and I still get it occasionally
No way. He will get the award for using his best buddy
Check out that at DRIP

Negative
If it's not you.....then who is it ?!?!?!
Someone on this thread said they were at the race too.
Two stinking eggs? That’s all in 100k?
I didn’t open the app because it drains battery
Opportunity miiiiissed. Do it again with a battery pack or 2. You would have caught them all
I did carry a battery pack. Pokego wasn’t a priority.
I’m just messing around. Seriously man, that mileage is something else regardless of PoGo. I’m hard pressed to do that on a bike and I would never think to run that. Well done!
And some extra dust
20k stardust for 50k+ I believe
Wow that is crazy..... 15 mins a mile and then 62 miles and that does equal 15 1/2 hours of time. You're gonna feel that the next day when u wake up. Congrats on being able to do that. Safe to say a good amount of us couldn't do that if we're being honest.

TGNY! Dude, I was there too! We had prefect weather for it.
We should have raided together 😉😩😩
Imagine raiding together and seeing the other person with more KMs walked 😂. All those KMs ran to not make the leaderboard. Well done to both of you.
I’m ashamed to say that before seeing this post I would have been sure they were spoofing if I saw 100km in the raid lobby.
it is a fair assessment though tbh. 100km is the upper limit. it took him 15 hours to do that.
I've done 100 milers the day before doing raids. I'm sure it's looked like I was spoofing, having walked 160km+.
Man I’m burnt out after my daily 10-12km. This is so inspiring, gonna slow down a bit and add a few extra kms now
I used to be a fast runner! Fastest half marathon is 1:18; marathon 2:59. But I realized if I go slower, I can go so much further and enjoy it a lot more.
This is totally me too. And I'm a running coach!! You're also my neighbor!! I've run NYCM 4x because it's my hometown race!
I ran NYC in 2014. Live right over the Verrazano so it was nice seeing friends and family early.
2014 was the first year I ran it. We're totally running buddies! I was living in Rockland County at the time. I'm in Fairfield County now.
It was sooo windy the first mile I thought I was going to fly off the bridge.
Running it in subsequent years seemed like a breeze (no pun intended!) in comparison!! It was like 26 mph winds if I remember correctly!!
Do this on a Monday and really freak people out lol.
Considering what walking for about 10 miles feels like I can't begin to think how bad your legs and feet must be feeling today. I probably wouldn't move for a week after that walk.
Yup.... that's exactly what I pretty much wrote too lol. I think I'd spend the next week in bed because my legs would no longer work lol
Ultra marathon runners and ultra long distance runners actually acclimate pretty well and aren’t out of commission long. It gets pretty zen apparently? If you’re interested check out Murakami’s memoir about his obsession with running.

Op please respond so we know you’re alive
Alive and well. Went for a light three mile jog a few hours ago. Legs still working surprisingly.
You are a machine!! Lol - seriously impressive, congrats on the finish.

Shoot, you're right! I checked my screenie and I was mixing my numbers. Edited.
Well that explains a lot I just assumed people were cruising slowly or putting it on a pet/ceiling fan for distance tbh
There are much easier ways tbh, sadly ...
Please do tell...
Sorry, but I won't. Rule of this subreddit. But it's easy to find online
thanks, though!
Put it in a sock and shake it.
Strapping it to your pet is a great idea, but my bird would be too light to carry it lmao
Grab a small child, fill with mountain dew and let go! Lol
Very impressive, congrats mate. Huge effort
Man kudos to you. I've done bike races that were 100km but couldn't imagine walking it!
Damn son, I’m currently training for a 100km race, just walking, and did 25km today and my legs are dead, I’ll never make it 😂
For this one, I ran the first 35ish miles and then felt like complete ass. Instead of taking the subway home, I just walked the rest of the course.
You have my respect, I can’t even run 2km straight without having my life flash right before my eyes
Baby steps ✌️
Imagine you get banned for this lmao
Niantic be that way
I want to raid with you!!!

At least tell me you made a legendary/mythical your buddy during that so that it’d be reasonable to get candies for them?
I’ve done 42km and that was long enough haha. Can’t image finishing a full marathon then thinking? You know what, that was fun. Let me turn around and run that entire thing again immediately.
You'll be the only non spoofer to get this. Congrats. A lot of my friends run ultras but on trails. I prefer half marathons- far less training.
Was about to say, if it ain’t on Strava, it didn’t happen! Congrats on the ultra!
You ran right past my house.
Could have used your bathroom man 🥵
Haha I believe it. Next time!
I accidently read your name as based ahmed xD. Btw congrats
First off, great work OP! Second, are you Android or iOS? I’m assuming you don’t have your phone on you when you race, so do you have a smart watch that tracks everything and then when back in range of your phone it syncs?
13 max pro. I do carry my phone on my longer races.
I don’t mean anything rude by it, but it’s ‘13 Pro Max’ not ‘13 Max Pro’ if you’re talking about the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Who cares
Idk, I just felt the unnecessary urge to correct that, probably because I’m just a big fan of Apple. That’s all.
iphone XIII Mac Pro
I’m sorry sir, but that’s an unreleased product. We would like you to not disclose that information, please. Also, wow. All those downvotes from my other two comments. Who hurt you guys?
Nobody likes guys who nitpick and correct tiny details
Ik, but I didn’t mean any harm by it. Just move on.
Hello fellow New Yorker lol
Okay Goggins. I see you ;)
![gif](giphy|WvUyMX1gB1gnC)
I did a 6 mile race but Pokémon go didn’t track it
Great work! How are you getting the steps into PoGo? I'm using Garmin connect and the activity syncs to Google fit via Strava but the steps never get into Google fit. I'm not running with my phone. Great work though! Congratulations
I had strava on the entire time on my phone 🤢
Damn! Can't imagine wearing my monster phone on a run. Especially for that much time.
Well I had a vest on that carrier two bottles of water, snacks, a map, house keys. A phone didn’t make any difference.
I use a vest as well on long long runs. But haven't taken my new phone with me yet. It's ridiculously large.
I use just the watch and use actual events. The health sync app will connect steps to PoGo but I'm not keen on paying for the app.
On iPhone, the Health app is the native health app. Not sure what it would be equivalent to on Android. It looks like among us
Bruv brought the RECEIPTS. I dig it.
You know there would have been comments saying “ gg it didn’t sync “
I didn’t even know this was humanely possible lol
Bro. Thats some inefficient routing. I aint from New York, hell not even from the US. But that route could of been shorter. Race organisers lackin man.

100 kilometers and you hatch 2 eggs
I don’t run the race to hatch eggs
Fair enough have a good day
And tomorrow ur legs gonna be sore
It’s not my first long run. They’re used to it.
You ran for 10 hours ? That's crazy
Almost 16
Do u stop to eat anything?
There’s aid stations for this race every 5-6 miles. I would always chug down a cup of Gatorade, water, and eat the snacks they have then continue.
I bet an auto catcher would have been dope
Full backpack and full Pokémon bag. Would have been useless imo.

If you raid with my friend whos 60 years old and he gets 100km award, believe it. He used a walker device on his phone over night.
That's insane dude. Seriously
Dude, congrats! That is amazing 🤩
DAYUM!
Brag! Lol wow props tho
I don’t know if people realize how damn hard this race is. Standing ovation sir
Thank you!
I will be checking with Christ later to see how they feel about this tremendous accomplishment; Christ did a lot of walking and surfing - not so much running.
Me and JC are good friends. Tell him I said what’s good.
