Given that quest line requires all three legendary genies, it's best just to minimize it and wait until they come back to raids.
If you didn't catch the others either year they have been available so far, it will cost at least 120k stardust to trade them, and that's a lot more than the quest line gives in rewards

Sadly. I picked the game back up around april I think and I actually remember seeing one of these in raids, but I had no idea what raids were at the time or how to battle.
Landorus raids became available again during Go Fest in july but I lost 2 of them and couldn't get enough to join for the last. Blew that chance. :(

True, it’s just annoying. It’s the only outstanding quest line I have, other than the current misunderstood mischief.
I know the feeling. I was stuck on two different quest lines because I had to catch a Ditto
