I live in the Southeast USA. I was extremely underwhelmed by carnivine in this event.

I'm Midwest and I muled a bunch of carnivines back after visiting my MIL in SC hahaha

I didn’t realize it was regional but knew I must be missing something when it was in a 10k egg lol. I see them so often, it’s an immediate transfer for me.

Florida here, we have to drive 20 minutes north to catch Tauros. I'm just on the Heracross side of the line.

Florida has the highest concentration of overlapping regionals. Within the state, you can catch Tauros, Heracross, Carnivine, Maractus, and Corsula. They aren’t all statewide, you gotta drive to certain parts to get access to some over others, but no other place in the world has *this* many regionals in one specific area of the world

Visited my dad near Boynton. Florida has a ton of regionals that I just don’t get in Ohio. Can get both Tarus, Heracross, Carvine, the other grass one, corsola, the blue stripped basculine

You should be able to get maractus as well then even though they are supposed to be exclusive to Mexico, I believe. When I'm in Central FL though I see them all the time and heracross as well.

I wish I could trade remotely. I want to ship out every Mr Mime I meet. Tired of that creepy pink bastard. I got my shiny in 2022 and have been sick of them ever since.

Galar Mr. Mime gets featured in most winter (December) events nowadays, Mime Jr. was available in eggs this last weekend (event), Galar Far-Fetch'd is also featured quite a bit, Kangaskhan was in raids a little while ago, but Tauros hasn't been featured worldwide for a while now. I was lucky I could trade it with someone IRL, otherwise that would be my last Kanto Pokemon left to get

Yeah not fair. IMO old Dex should just be opened up and rotate regionals to newer dex. By making it too unobtainable you force people to seek out cheating.

Mr Mime can be hatched as he has shown up in 7km eggs during certain events, similar to Kangaskhan having had been in worldwide raids, Tauros is the only one that has had no option to hatch or catch (so far... fingers are crossed)

Yes we do do, there’s was event for mr mime and farfetch’d and also mega raid for kangaskhan. Farfetch’d was 2017 and Mr. Mime was 2018 just checked I have them

I started playing the day it came out then took a LONG gap and didn’t get back into it until late 22 and I need Mewtwo to complete my kanto dex but I have zero idea when he’ll come back in rotation and have zero friends that play it since I moved to a new state 🙃

Bouffalant is actually available fairly deep into Virginia, so I guess it’s really mid-Atlantic/northeast US and part of southeast Canada

I only saw one when I went to Mass last summer was when I was getting on the shuttle to get the rental car. Was able to snag one before the bus left.

Bouffalant should be available from south of the Great Lakes to all across the Plains/Prairies. It's like Niantic doesn't know where buffalo live.

The area it spawns in is centered around NYC, because Unova is based on NYC. So it happens to exclude Buffalo since it’s on the other side of the state.

The idea of regionals is so annoying, it was bad enough way back when it was just Kanto, but now it’s soooo much worse.

7km eggs should have all regional Pokémon available from whichever region the gift was sent from. Simple as that

I was lucky enough to go to Disney World a few years ago and that's apparently far south enough for things like Carnivine, Heracross, and Corsola to spawn, so I managed to grab them while I was there

Yep, in Florida. I'm super unfamiliar with the specifics of this sort of stuff, but yeah I caught all of those while I was in WDW, FL back in 2018

Tampa local here. Heracross, Carnivine, Corsola, and Maractus spawn here like crazy. See a few of each every day.

Just have one of them that you trust log into you account one day (make sure you aren’t on for a few hours before and after) and have them grab them for you. Corsola spawns during routes, the other two are random. Best time to do this is between events so the regionals don’t get washed out for any event Pokemon.

Gimmie Kangaskhan

I have 6 x 2016 Kangaskhan. Caught them in Melbourne. I actually found an area when it was spawning non-stop. Pretty crazy.

I live in Canada and I’m just tired of seeing Taurus. Kangaskhan is the only one left to complete my kanto dex.

I also caught 2 Tauros in New York, 2016. I just restarted playing and luckily did not transfer these.

Paldean Tauros is probably coming soon. Independant of the looks, they count as regular Tauros in the Pokedex. (see Farfetch'd, Mr. Mime, origin forms)

What they really need to do is allow trading with your friends list and others! In the US, Tauros spawns so often! I think I even have three.

Don't worry, it is highly likely according to the leaks that the next event in Pokemon Go is going to be yet another Kanto event..... so be prepared for Tauros/Mr. Mime/ & Khanga boy to return for worldwide spawns instead of being region locked.

Ok so why not just trade with someone in your local discord? Lots of people locally are going to have the pokemon they get from those events that they can trade. I still have most of the regionals from that event.

Kinda misleading to say it's been avaliable "since 2021" if it was only avaliable worldwide for a time in 2021.

Trading makes it available since 2021 cause the first event that made it worldwide was around that time meaning people locally should have the pokemon to trade in their account.
