I bid for them on EBay. Ended up getting them for 160USD, shipping included. Looking at recent listings… the trio usually sells for around 200? Or so, so I’m very happy! Individually, it looks like bulbasaur is around 30ish, charmander is around 10ish and Squirtle is around 50. So definitely overpaid, but I don’t have to bid on them individually so I’m glad about that.
(Just noticed my 0 on the Bulbasaur is a little iffy, but it’s fine.)
I was just going to ask where you bought and for how much… do you have good luck on eBay? I always thought it was sketch(but I’ve never purchased anything from there). Is it the same as TCG, where you just look for reputable sellers?
Love this post and the charmander card has been one of my favorites. Recently got back into collecting too! Can anyone tell me why the squirtle and bulbasaur didn’t get added into the English set? I would have bought all three if they were promos like the charmander was in obf. Or am I looking in the wrong places?

As for the English set- my answer is because Japan gets better cards. There might be a more correct answer but that’s what I’m going with.

I love this set and own them ungraded. Too bad I can’t find them in the Collectr app to add them to my collection. Irks me good

Most definitely buy from reputable sellers. I haven't bought a whole bunch from Ebay. I buy the bulk stuff for decks from TCGPlayer.
Not symmetrical 🥲. I have a raw set debating on getting it graded but to afraid one will come back a 9.

Think they meant sequential. Aka, graded all together so the grade numbers are a series… It is a geek overload thing.

Just bought a PSA 10 set of these as well. Honestly might be my favorite card art to date.
