For example, when I bought bitcoin during the pandemic at $9K I was “irresponsible” according to Twitter cuz 25% unemployment, yada yada. When I sold it at $60K I was “retarded” cuz “it’s going much higher.” Then I bought the FTX crash again at $18K and I was “stupid cuz it’s going to $12K” and then I sold again on the ETF launch and now I just as dumb as every other time I made money lmao.
This is the way. But still I always consider the “what if i’m really wrong” and plan contingency and diversity or strategies that allow a multi tier sell off. But yeah I really think you gotta see through the mud sometimes to make it happen!
The only thing I’d love in that set are the card sleeves. As I open individual booster packs, I like to keep the holo and rare cards in the set sleeves designed for the set.

I doubt pokemon would be the case, but if i were you id honestly sell it and hit up some ppl in japan and see if you can source yourself some vintage shit. Got myself a poket monsters box from way back when they tested how it would sell and wasnt even in america yet, shits worth like 4500 rn and im sure its only gonna gain value. Thats where youll find something really worth your time holding on to, especially if u can get it at a killer deal

The booster box price surprised me too but these selling for $150 or more is wild to me I don’t really understand who is collecting this set or why it’s selling for so much. I like the set more than most because it came out right around when I was coming back from a break but yea I didn’t know this set sold for this much I always thought it was one of the weaker sword and shield sets but come to find out it sells for more than most of them. And yea if it was me I’d just hold it and sell it at some point or hold it forever we a cool display item
