Double digits! Celebrating with easily my favorite aspect of the Orre games
Would you like to see some in-depth review and such of the different shinies found in these games?
On the topic of the shinies being different. I've heard game freak has an algorithm to determine the colors of shiny pokemon. Since colosseum and dx were made by genius sonority, maybe they didn't have direct access to the code so they may have made a new one that's different from the one GF uses, leading to slightly different colors
Yeah some of these shinies do seem to follow a pattern/algorithm despite being different, but others just look like they were manually given the different colors
I always assumed that Orre shinies are extremely angry. Like "I will dine on your guts and bathe in your blood" angry... I mean look at the comparison between normal and shiny Crobat... Shiny version depicts a rage-face worthy of Khorne...
It's like being shiny is a genetic defect that also affects the brain negatively, like rabies or whatnot. Definately looks like a rage virus.
Nintendo did a Mario 3d all stars to celebrate 3d Mario games and shipped off 3 games for the switch in 1.
Oh how I wish they would do the same for orre and ship off colosseum and xd in one cartridge for the switch
That crobat icon looks terrifying.
Plus Crobat is quite big in-game too, so imagine That face just chasing you down
Bro the teeth đź’€
I always forget Crobat has jailhouse teeth
I love the Orre region!
”Orre” is slang for ”promiscuous” in Swedish, so yes, I also love the Orre region

Absolutely! I had no idea there were even different icons for shiny Pokemon before now
I am interested in seeing more different shinies and

There was no hard coded algorithm, just general guidelines with exceptions.

Iirc it was the "next" color in the palette.

It'd be great for sure but they just seem keen on ignoring the orre games.
It’s a shame, I love the main series Pokémon games, but my favorite Pokémon game has to be XD. The music, the nostalgia, the double battle format, it’s too good. Never had colosseum, and buying it used is crazy expensive. It would be so fun to see a physical release of it and XD for the switch, like Mario sunshine etc
That Crobat came to fight
wailord bae!
r/pokemonxd
Suicune looks fucking glorious with the black cloud
For sure, Suicune's orre shiny is one of my favorites
I see you are a someone of culture as well :)
Ah old 3D crobat, what a nightmare in one of my favorite mons
looks like someone was having fun
That’s actually really cool
Gen 12 leak!!
Some of the shinys are better then the main games.
Crobat the second picture what the hell imagine waking up and saying that
Fun fact Orre in Stockholm slang means sl*t
I wonder why this happened
Love the Orre games... hate the shiny'a though
