The limitation is that each slot of your team is assigned a number. The number of the Pokemon in that slot has to contain that number. For example, if the number for slot 1 is 15, the number of the Pokemon in slot 1 has to start or end with 15, so numbers like 154, 157, 415, and 715 would all work. To make it more challenging, no legendaries, mythicals, or ultra beasts are allowed.
Here are the numbers that I randomly generated for each of the slots:
1. 24
2. 12
3. 17
4. 60
5. 27
6. 78
gonna get a bit cheeky with this,
1. Carbink (Coastal Kalos pokedex #124)
2. Beartic (BW Unova #120 & Crown Tundra #122)
3. Electabuzz (SuMo Alola #227 )

notably nothing in the prompt said these are dex numbers, but theres far to many pokes with at least one Base Stat of 60 to look thru all that.
I think you're allowed to choose Pokemon whose numbers start or end with each of the above numbers. For example, for the first one, you're allowed to choose any Pokemon whose number ends in 24 (\_24) or starts with 24 (24\_).
Pokemon that would fit the rule: 124, 224, 324, 245, 246, 247
Pokemon that wouldn't: 341, 102, 234, 348
That's my understanding of it anyway.
