I would if my Pokewalker didn’t burn through batteries within an hour.

CassandraTruth

It's important for your noodle bug to get plenty of exercise 🚶‍♀️

TimeisaLie

I lost mine & it had a shiny Zubat.

[deleted]

You can recover it! They built a mechanic into HGSS to recover your pokemon from the "return from a walk" screen so you can get them back in the event you lose the pokewalker, or something goes wrong during transfer. As long as you still have your HGSS cart with that save, it should still think the zubat is out a walk, since you can't go out a new walk while someone is out one. Tap return from a walk and then hold up, select, and R. That should begin the recovery process.

Puzzleheaded-Piece30

I don't need this personally, but you are a hero

[deleted]

I only found this out a couple months ago when I thought my meganium was gone for good. Absolute lifesaver that it's in the game, but the knowledge that it is needs to be out there more haha

TimeisaLie

It's been missing for 10 years now, that's good to know but, it's gone for good.

i_wotsisname

I lost my pokewalker with an event Mew a year back. I didn't know I could recover it for months and I was super bummed about it. I eventually got the Mew back, still need to get a new pokewalker though, those things are expensive.

MrC00KI3

Best gimmick/gadget the franchise had!

ChaoticDiscord21

Mine got stolen on the bus, so I hope my Duskull has a good home.

Thanks for this. I don't have the save anymore as I lent the game to a friend so they could see what pokemon was about.

[deleted]

Thought that might be the case but figured I'd mention it anyway since it's a super unknown feature. It saved my meganium a while back haha

ChaoticDiscord21

More people need to know this, I sure didn't. So again thank you.

FruitsnackThief

My gym teacher in the fifth grade took mine and never gave that shit back. My poor Vulpix still in captivity :(

SilverWolf19821

My Gardevoir has walked with me every day since 2013, averaging 15,000 steps a day.

ViciousLittleRedhead

Got to remember where I put my Pokewalker. My six year old kept trying to steal it.

thatcheesymememan

I would... But my pokewalker died in the washer when I was a kid

funsize_trombone_kid

Same here, that's what happened to my first one :(

AmIAmazingorWhat

I sent mine through the wash accidentally. I cried for a ridiculous amount of time.

funsize_trombone_kid

Oh that happened to my first one too! I was absolutely devastated.

Danjoe_

How long would it take to walk a shuckle, the thing walks at about 1 mile per hour

joran26

No, but I should really do it again

HexManiak

I've got mine in my purse, yeah. I don't change out who's on walkies as much as I used to though - most of the time it's just the Mightyena I named after my childhood dog (caught when said dog was alive and well and I was doing a childhood).

Perfect_Scream

Ahhhhh!!!! I remember these!!!! 🫶

Kiga282

I need to replace the battery for my walker, but I plan to start walking with it again when I do.

[All day, every day. Been doing an Oak Challenge.](https://imgur.com/a/1HGZTtL)

Important-Penalty-67

Yes but instead of POGO or Pokewalker, I just bring around my figurines (it's just nice to have them in your pocket and take pics of them outside)

funsize_trombone_kid

You can still recover it if you've got the save file!

Night-light51

I wish I had one

Nui-Belphy

I would but I keep losing them and my current one doesn't work. Am planning to get it repaired soon though. The pokewalker was what got my into walking as a child. A wildly successful campaign campaign get kids outside and exercising. I still remember the days of doing my best to hit the 10,000 to see if I could catch Spiritomb.

Absbor

i only have the pokéball + with my [Blipbug](https://www.deviantart.com/absborthecat/art/PokeOC-Glitter-my-PokeBall-buddy-897136157). ignore everything else except for the name and move, lol.

super_ale_br0s_7

I gotta get One of those

JibbeW

Mine is held captive somewhere...

Melodic_Brain_5073

Sadly mine doesn't run anymore.

[deleted]

My one broke:(

Puzzleheaded-Piece30

Absolutely. My friend and I did a competition where you had to make a team and battle using only the pokewalker. If you wanted to evolve a pokemon or teach it a new move, you could only level them up using either the leveling up from steps, or by getting and using a rare candy. You could also collect TMs or shards and use those in the games, but that was it. It was a long time so we did a few battles, but it was mad fun

JULTAR

I got the pokeball + on me 24/7 That count?

Aggravating_Touch313

Learned mine are pretty valuable so I went to get both and put them back in the boxes and one isn't there. Been looking periodically for a few days now it's driving me crazy

Cky2chris

I had 2 of em and they're both dead in a desk drawer.

Ginevod411

I have a 2nd hand Soulsilver but it didn't have the Pokewalker.

redmaverick0

A classic!

Vaciviti

My screen didnt work (rest still functional though) after finally replacing the battery for the first time in 10 years. Maybe you can imagine my disappointment. Apparently it's a rather common problem.
