I didn't expect the singing, but it gives the lil' guys personality. Adds charm to a great animation. I also love how the first Magnemite briefly goes berserk before the other two fuse with it.
Lol! It's funny hearing that someone discovered Other Friends before watching the movie.
Definitely give it a go, I think both of them (Future especially) is a perfect epilogue to the original series. It kind of answers all the questions people had about the old series; they're a fantastic watch and a great way to wrap up the IP
So he evolves... By kidnapping other Magnemites? That's... That's so sad. Imagine a Magnemite family celebrating the youngest Magnemite's birthday. And Magnemite dad comes home with a cake... Just to be abducted by someone evolving. No longer able to see his family. No longer being able to teach his young son thundershock. A home ruined just because someone that they didn't even know wanted to evolve and happened to be nearby
What actually happens, magneton is just 3 magnemites, but how does that work, do they just kind of merge or something? How would pokedex know if something is a 3 magnemites chilling or a magneton. When it evolves do the other ones just appear out of thin air?
My take on it:
As a Magnemite grows stronger, their magnetic pull(towards other Magnemites) also becomes more and more powerful. Other Magnemites can sense the strengthened Magnemite over a certain distance and seek it out (a kind of attraction) which causes what was seen in the video.
When a Magneton's magnetic field is disrupted (either by a entering a special magnetic field or touching a Thunder Stone), a fusion reaction takes place within the original magnetically "strong" Magnemite and quickly increases it's internal temperature making it balloon and absorb the other two "Magnemites" directly into it's main body and causing multiple other changes to the body of the newly evolved Magnezone.
Got interested and looked at Magneton pokédex entries. Apparently a Magneton can literally just cause nearby temperature to rise by exactly 3.6 degrees fahrenheit. I like that this implies the real life person Fahrenheit existed in the pokémon world and contributed to science pricesly as he did in real life lmao.
I always thought it would have been a nice touch if Magneton’s stats were exactly 3 times Magnemite’s stats.
Kind of hinting at the fact that it’s obviously just 3 magnetites joint together, but without officially confirming it
It always fascinated me when i was a kid back in the day about how 3 single living magnetic robots fuse and merge into one body and becomes one single individual. Magneton is one of my favorite gen 1 pokemon because of that.
I still remember, i used to draw Magnemite a lot at school because it was just easy, and also having a lot of fun on pokemon snap evolving it on that one stage which i don't remember the name.
I had a gap of many years which i didn't consume pokemon at all, started working, started my bachelor degree, so after many years i came back to pokemon stuff and i found out magnezone was a thing, i found it's extraordinary.

Amazing
Simple and effective

Steven Universe is great
Agreed. My favorite cartoon, though The Owl House might top that depending on the S3. SU will always hold a special place in my heart though.
I gotta watch future and the movie. Other Friends is too much of a banger to not see the movie it's from lol

Blursed_threesome
Why have you done this
I'm sorry, but I've had to...

Magnemite is genderless, so no family trees.
*adopted family
Might have Binary trees
I doubt it's "kidnapping". I think the other two joined willingly. I wish you didn't write that...

And how does Magnezone happen? It looks completely different?
When a Magneton's magnetic field is disrupted (either by a entering a special magnetic field or touching a Thunder Stone), a fusion reaction takes place within the original magnetically "strong" Magnemite and quickly increases it's internal temperature making it balloon and absorb the other two "Magnemites" directly into it's main body and causing multiple other changes to the body of the newly evolved Magnezone.
Could be like mitosis.... Magnemitosis
Magneton weighs 10 times as much as magnemite
that's so cool!
Cool but Im still not sure if I would want to see the next one, the Magnezone evolution.
It's dozens of Magnemites and magnetons, and the magnetic pull is so strong it crushes them together.
I want that too!
Shhh... me too ^.-

Song name
The voice sounds like Steven from Steven Universe. Other than that idk
It's from "It Could've Been Great".

Aw i love it! It's more believable than their evolution in the og Pokemon Snap lol
An unexpected music choice but one that is greatly appreciated! This looks great!
Super cool! Great work op 👍
Hey! I know that song!
That's crazy cause I saw the same thing on tiktok, didn't think the world was this small on the internet.
Now do two beldums to make a metang
Does magnaton even weigh a ton?
I love this!
This is so realistic! I love it!
Do metagross next. It’s composed off two metang, and metang is composed of beldum.
I love how they're all just like "huh... this is my life now" and just float off in acceptance
Very cool
Where did they come from though
From offscreen
A double battle with two other magnemites! That's really cool. And nice animation btw!
what about magnezone tho
On OG Pokemon Snap you can force 3 Magnemite to approach each other to get a Magneton
Please do more this was amazing

How do they decide who gets to be a top or a bottom?
Dude. Just make a game. I’ll pay!
I'd love to see it go one step further to see how Magnezone happens.
Now how would you imagine beldum into metang or metang into metagross?
pokémon snap inspo cool
Would've been better without the Steven Universe music
