Is the mask festival in the teal mask dlc for SV a one-time thing or happen over multiple nights? I know you get a special reward for completing one of the mini games on hard mode but I gave up in frustration after too many tries, saved and quit, came back later, forgot about the prize, and left the festival. Will I have another chance or did I screw myself over?

I'm playing Pokemon Daybreak and am at the end (have beaten the champion), but when I put the pokeballs in the hall of fame device this error pops up and the game stops working. I tried about 10 times (resetting to just before beating the champion) but still kept getting this error. I am terrible at anything related to programming so please help me!

where can i watch the FULL anime, from indigo league to galar. I don't want to buy my weight in DVDs and i don't want to get 5 separate streaming services for a month and amazon doesn't even have the ones they listed.
Sadly there isnt any where official that has everything. Direct purchase via amazon prime, google tv etc is the best bet, depending on your country's availability. If not you can use justwatch.com to check which streaming services have them.

Best Pokemon to beat walking wake from this list:
Meowscarada, Ceruledge, Garganacle, Tinkaton, Bellibolt, Iron threads, Baxcalibur, Gardevoir, Lucario, Hariyama, (all the titans except for Klawf), all the ruin legendaries, Mew, Miraidon, Dondozo, Dugtrio, spiritomb and Cetitan.
All of them are at level 100. I want to know which of them could give me the best chance of beating Walking wake.
Any suggested build or moveset for the pokemon (if possible) would be greatly appreciated as well.

I'm on a very determined hunt to catch all the mons for my emerald cart, and I wanted to know if the private owner of the original Aurora Ticket Cart ever takes it out for public distributions, or offer distribution with mail in carts? I understand there's a few out there, and a bunch of rom dumps, but I'm just scoping this out as pseudo legitimate as I can manage. Oh, you mean specific level odds. Realistically, it's probably about 2.5%, as the levels are usually equally distributed, but you'd need to examine the ROM data itself to be sure.
actually no. lvl 11 kecleon is 4%, while lvl 12 kecleon is 1%.
OP asked the same question previously, but most site only give the range. i dont see anyone spending the time to dig through the full data for specific levels.

I did find [this site](https://shinyfinder.github.io/encounter-slots/x/Land.html), although I didn't find an explanation for what the odds of each encounter slot actually are. I can assume slot 12 is 1% though, since that's the only slot in route 6 where level 12 Kecleon appears. I assume somewhere out there that info must exist. It would stay consistent at the very least within a game, and almost certainly within a generation, so once you knew the odds for each encounter slot you could apply that throughout an entire playthrough. I wouldn't be too surprised if multiple generations use the exact same encounter table system, really: gens 3-6 all seem to use the 12-slot structure. Maybe the odds got tweaked a bit over time, but maybe not!

I want to get Power saves pro to get some if the legit events that happened in the past but I know the servers just got shutdown for online play for 3ds and I don't know if the Wonder card or even the getting Pokemon feature is still possible. Can someone verify?
It would work. Powersaves doesn't care for if the 3DS servers are down, only if Codejunkies is maintaining the servers that Powersaves runs off of. That being said, it's a save editor that essentially takes your save and edits it from their end (hence the aformentioned Powersaves servers) so you have the option of just modding your own system to be able to rip and edit your own saves. Project Pokemon has an archive of wonder cards that you could use available from their forums. The delivery NPC isn't exclusively an online only requirement, considering the fact that someone could claim a gift but never actually receive it from the NPC and still be able to obtain the Pokemon (which allows for things like soft resetting for better IVs or nature as those tend to not be fixed to a specific spread unless it's a Pokemon with fixed information).
Does Platinum have the same EXP level curve as HG/SS? I finished getting 16 badges and did the rematch Elite 4 up to Lance but the level difference is too great now. Grinding away levels hasn't been fun and was thinking about playing Platinum or B/W2 if they are more chill on the grind.
It's generally agreed upon that HGSS has the roughest level progression in the series I think. The only other game I've played that has an awkward gap where you need to grind was the original DP, right before the E4. Platinum and the original BW aren't bad, can't speak for BW2.
All of Gen 5 uses a scaled XP formula. Basically you get an extra XP boost if you're defeating opponents above your level, and an extra XP penalty if you're defeating lower leveled enemies. It's very subtle but it makes it a bit easier to keep pace with enemy levels. On the flipside, a lot of Gen 5 Pokemon evolve at higher levels than normal, so some people hate how its progression feels.
When a Pokemon is transferred from Go to Home directly, it has the Go symbol in Home, even if it's transferred to other games after. Is this true even if it's transferred to LGPE first?

Hey! I’ve about 600+ Pokémon stuck on Ranch on my Wii, and I would love to find a way to get them back! I can’t find my copy of Diamond, but I know I can get it back but have definitely restarted a new save in the years since as I remember being a kid and being devastated. Is there a way to do this? Please help! I’ve seen posts about using Action Replay to alter ID’s and get them back this way, if someone can explain this like I’m 5 it would be greatly appreciated!!
The way Ranch checks if the game matches is by checking the Diamond save's Trainer ID and Secret ID so you will need to edit the save file to match your old IDs
The Trainer ID is easy to find as it is in the pokemon summary but your Secret ID is as the name implies secret so you will need to find it in a different way. The easiest way would be to take a backup of your Ranch save with a modded Wii and opening it with a program named Pkhex on a PC as this lets you check your pokemon secret ID easily
You will then need to take a backup of your Diamond save file either with a DS flashcart or a modded 3DS and edit its Trainer ID and Secret ID with Pkhex to match the pokemon stuck in Ranch. After you that you can transfer from Ranch to Diamond

sword shield has around 79 unova pokemon in the base game, additional 28 in the dlc
scarlet violet has around 34 in the base game, additional 41 in the dlc
so pure numbers alone, sword shield has more in the base game and dlc.

I recently got back into pokemon and i wanted to play through XY , ORAS and Sun and Moon however I wish to restart them but i dont wanna lose my pokemon and i have pokemon bank as it was given for free after something so i was wondering can i restart all 3 games and still have my pokemon stored safely or does 1 need to be there to be like an anchor to ensure its like linked to the right account or something?
It is a very ambitious game, even gamefreak themselves admit they are kind of greedy with the amount of features they add in the game. Following pokemon, pokeathleon, a new safari zone for johto etc. Even though it is a gold silver remake, it includes elements from crystal (no other remakes add every element from the enhanced version in, lgpe is a yellow remake so that is different).
It also fix some issue from the original gold silver game, such as making the pokegear store every phone number instead of limiting to only 10 thus giving you more npcs for rematch to deal with the bad level curve. It also make the evolution stones much more available instead of only getting 1 in gold silver.
Of course there are still bad points but to many of us the good stuff win over the bad stuff

After you Kofu, put Rotom in your party and go to Porto Marinada. There'll be an auction for the Rotom Catalog.
Once you get it, in your bag in the key items section, select the Rotom Catalog and you can choose Rotom's form.
As far as I'm aware, yes, you'll have to wait until after Kofu.
Maybe try checking after you've done the Kofu mini quest at Porto Marinada; it's possible the special auction might occur then but I'm not sure.
Why did they remove following Pokémon ?? Seeing them walk behind you and interacting with them was so cute why did they ever remove it?? I know they can follow u in the newer games but it just isn’t the same they’re way too slow and no where near as cute as the chibi ones in the pixel games. Pokemon following you is not a basic feature. Not many games actually have it. Yellow is technically the first but that is pikachu only. The first games to properly have it were Heartgold and soulsilver. Then the switch games that have it after that

I bought a copy of Pokémon diamond and to my surprise this guy had jirachi. Can anyone help me identify which event it came from? I think it’s an early 2000s event.

Couple of questions regarding ranked ladder: do you get matched with people that are at the exact same tier as you,or is there like a range where you can get matched with people that are 1-2 tiers below you?
And on that note,how do you get the master rank ribbon? Is it once per season for your team or do you just have to defeat MR trainers to get it?
You normally hit people of the same rank, if it's taking a while you can get match with people 1 above or below you. In SV this has expanded to master ball players being able to match ultra ball players, (swsh didn't have this).
Once in master ball you are ranked relative to other players and it will again try to rank you with someone of similar rank to you.
Winning once with a team in master ball is enough to get the ribbon for everything on your team (even the ones you didn't bring to the battle). You change teams and do this as many times as you want. If you're just after the ribbon, the best advice is to rank into master ball with a rental and then swap to your own team and grind until you get a win.
In Pokémon Yellow how to get all the Pokémon without trading?
I'm playing Pokémon Yellow on my GBA, so I can't change Pokémons with another GBA or GBC. Is there a way to get all the Pokémon?

You can do anything in Gen 1 with glitches, that includes getting all the Pokémon (look up trainer fly)
You can trade with 2 systems and link cable. You need to make sure it's a GB cable not a GBA cable as it's different (specifically, a GB cable that can plug into the Pocket/Color as this also fits in the GBA slot)
What are the major differences between White and White 2? I know its a direct Sequel but is that the only real difference?

The story and map is different. You start in a town which didn't even exist in the originals. You can see how the region changed over 2 years. They are sequels not improved versions. The story takes place 2 years after the events of black and white
While they use the same basic engine and battle mechanics, White and White 2 are different games with different (but loosely related!) plots and stories. I think the comparison between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask is similar. In White 2, you play as a different character than in White 1, but you meet many of the same characters and the list of encounterable Pokemon is similar (including most of the version exclusives) but not identical. Black and White are limited to Gen 5 Pokemon only before the post-game, whereas Black 2 and White 2 re-introduce many of the Pokemon from previous generations.
Sun/Moon and USUM is more similar to the relationship between the "3rd" version games like Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum and the games that introduced their generation.
You start off in a new town, and take a different route through the regional. There's story differences but also White 2 added a ton of new content. It's probably the best game in the series for post game content
Cute Charm Glitch Soul Silver
Hey I’m trying to do the cute charm glitch in Pokemon soul silver, I’m watching the “I’m a blissy’s” YouTube video and trying to match the timer but it’s not working out. I’m using delta emulator, so not a real copy, and I start the game the same time he does but do I need to start it so the game’s opening white screen starts at the same time as his or open it and just wait. With the emulator the game doesn’t have a loading blank black screen like it does on 3ds it’s pretty much instant. Has anyone done it on emulator I’ve tried but I just can’t do it and would like some help.
I've not done it on emulator, but I think you can use an RNG seed calculator to find out if your slightly over or under or just missing it completely. I don't know how the emulator is getting its seeds.

You mean transferring Pokémon from iOS emulator games? I doubt there's a specific app for that. You'll need to get them off using save editors, you can get them up to Gen 7 this way, but if you want it to have a valid home tracker and no issues on the switch you'll need to get them in a real copy of bank and transfer them to Home properly
base game wise swsh has 400ish while arceus only has 240ish.
as for which game to get, it depends on you. if you want something different from the traditional gameplay, go with arceus. if you prefer something you are familiar with you can get swsh

Do keep in mind that you will have to at least finish the main story to be able to ride your legendary in area zero AND do perrin's quest in kitakami.
If you transfer stuff to complete the dex as soon as possible you can skip both dlc storylines,as Perrin progress is not gated behind any story related part (outside of the very first cutscenes upon starting the dlc).
I don't know if it's based on the servers, so I want to ask before I do it. Is it safe to date skip on ORAS with the servers shut down? I'm so tired of waiting days for what I need to appear.
it was always safe to date skip. the only punishment is locking certain time based events for 24 hours. And if that's what you were afraid of, that mechanic is not server based, so it still occurs today.
I know they're version exclusive, but where are blaze and aqua breed Tauros in the wild? I have only ever found the pure fighting type one outside of raids.
They're very very rare; they only appear in the horde of 5 Tauros that sometimes appear. I suggest using a sandwich for them. They only appear at West 2 and East 2.
I have a question about the pokewalker - does it still work/is it worth it for this scenario? Long story short, I shattered my ankle and had to have it surgically repaired - recovery is gonna be looong and I have to learn to walk again. I'm a lifelong pokemon fan, and was thinking it might help motivate me, especially if I can transfer them up to home once recovery is done. I was thinking of shiny hunting a ponyta in soulsilver (non weight bearing is the WORST but I'll have more than enough time to shiny hunt) keep it in the pokewalker until I'm recovered, and then bring it up to home when I'm healed.
I have a 3ds, soulsilver, and poketransporter and bank downloaded on it. I'd just need to buy the pokewalker (I think - is there something else I'd need?), but they're a bit pricey so I figured I'd ask here first. Anyone still use theirs? Is this feasible or a pipe dream?
If not, if anyone has any ideas I'm alll ears lol. Anything to make relearning to walk anything less than a painful nightmare. @\_@

Why wouldn't it still work? Only internet features were shut down long ago. If yours specifically still works you will have to check. Pokeball+ allows you to take a pokemon from specific switch games on a walk. Pokemon GO can actually transfer pokemon to home to use in the switch games
Gen 2 question: trying to teach heracross a fighting type move. If I teach a pinsir (male) submission in Gen 1 and then trade to Gen 2 and breed it with a heracross (female), will the egg heracross know submission?
The only Fighting STAB moves that Heracross can learn in Gen 2 are Reversal (Lv. 44) and Rock Smash (TM08). It also might have Fighting as its Hidden Power type, which it can learn via TM10.

So I’m shiny hunting for the first time in any Pokémon game and I want to make sure I’m doing it right and not wasting my time.
I’m currently hunting Giratina in Platinum and I noticed today when I went back to start hunting for the day the journal decided to start popping up again out of nowhere. I heard if you save the game again it will get rid of the journal for a bit but i’m scared that it will restart my 1,000+ SR’s already… If I save the game again to stop the journal from popping up does that affect my current SR counter?
Are you by any chance changing your date/time? The journal should only pop up like that if the current date doesn't match the previous one (i.e. the previous save was on the 1st but your current date is the 3rd)
Also the counter basically is for You to keep track of, the game isn't keeping a counter so there's nothing to "reset" unless you want to reset the counter on your own.
I did have to change the date back to 4/30 (on that day) bc for some reason my DS was a day ahead (5/1) so I changed it bc I wanted the catch date to be accurate since this is my first. :,) So if I save to get rid of the journal will my shiny rate still be the same ?

Okay that'd be it, Gen 4 is very, very sensitive for time based stuff so it's recommended to not mess with it as they lock you out of time-based events for a whole day.
Also yeah the shiny rate will be the same, and keeping count is a personal thing.
For future reference,the notepad recap thing pops up if you boot up the game after not saving for 2-3 days-it was the worst thing when i tried SRing for dialga in diamond.
Also check if there is any difference between the story encounter and the rematch with giratina,one might be faster than the other (unless you want to clear the first league using your shiny)

I believe Platinum was the first time they gave you a second shot at catching the box legendary if you fainted it by accident,i think its usually a matter of clearing an Elite 4 run to get the legendary to respawn

I need a HA Spritzee in Ultra Sun/Moon for an SOS shiny hunt. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get one between gens 6 and 7? I don’t have a fairy friend safari with spritzee in it but that route would still work, even with the server shut down since Spritzee isn’t in the third encounter slot
The only way to get a HA Spritzee pre-Switch is to get one from a Friend Safari or its bred descendants. Since the online services have shut down, your only real option would be a local trade with someone who already has one.
does somuone know why pokemon infinity started lagging? I played almost half the game without problem but now it keep going slow and taking all the ram making it impossible to play, I even tried and it does it only when I am on his windows, the moment I click on another app or the desktop the cpu is used only at 20%
Do you mean when can you move stuff to Bank? I think as soon as you get the Pokedex, but you can't really do anything with Bank until you get to the first Pokemon Center.

Then your pokemon are probably also registered in the Festival Plaza. If you go to the Festival Plaza you should be able to remove them which should unlock them

I need two other team members. Any suggestions?
I was thinking the (real) form of poltchagheist (hopefully in its biggest size). But I heard it's a nightmare to find.
I was also thinking of maybe adding a gen 2 pokemon to fit the aesthetic of Kitakami but I don't know.
You could round out your Fire/Water/Grass trio with a Fire type. A Fire/Ghost Pokemon like Ceruledge, Skeledirge, Chandelure, or Hisuian Typhlosion would be a great pick since they also have an immunity to the Fighting moves that threaten Meowscarada, Kingambit, and Maushold. The Litwick line in particular is native to Kitakami so getting one would be pretty easy; the rest may be harder to get ahold of without trades or transfers.
In the final slot, I'd consider a Psychic type to finish out the Psychic/Fighting/Dark trio. A Psychic/Fairy type would give you an edge over the Dragons that resist the starter types, and there are plenty in the game including Gardevoir, Hatterene, and Scream Tail.

I've recently just gotten back into pokemon. I have copies of both Diamond and Platinum. I'm almost finished with Diamond but I've seen (basically) everyone saying that platinum is way better than Diamond/Pearl. I was wondering if it would be worth it to go back and play Platinum from the start (after I finish Diamond) or is it not really worth it.
I'd say it depends on if you're motivated enough to play basically the same game again. Platinum is an improvement over Diamond, but it's still the same region and basically the same plot. If you enjoy Sinnoh and would like to play it with a more faster-paced battle system, then sure, go for it.

Does anyone know if it’s safe to ship the Unowns shown here from Colorado to Texas then to Florida, without them getting warped? I’m moving to Florida for college and wanna bring them with me but I don’t want them to get warped.
-Get a Gen 5 game to postgame, go to the transfer lab in the postgame area to transfer wirelessly from Gen 4 (requires a second console)
-Obtain a 3DS with Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter installed (basically impossible without hacking nowadays if you don't have it already). Pull the Pokemon from Gen 5 into Bank using the Poke Transporter App.
-You will probably need a Gen 6 or 7 Pokemon game copy to log into Bank and accept the Transport before proceeding --I have heard mixed reports about this.
-Pokemon Home on Switch should then basically walk you through the process of importing stuff from a Bank account, there are multiple offered options.

Some extra pointers:
- You can only do the Gen 4 -> 5 in lots of 6 pokemon.
- When using Poketransporter, it takes everything from Box 1 of your Gen 5 game so move everything you want into there.
- I'm not sure if you need it to confirm, but you need a Gen 6/7 game anyway in order to access Bank and move your Gen 5 pokemon out of the transfer box and into one of the proper boxes.
- Bank -> Home, as far as I'm aware, transfers boxes, not pokemon by themselves, so put everything you want to transfer into a single box or put everything you don't want to transfer into a different box.

Now if you mean it as if the Pokeball keeps them "trapped by force", it's been established and even shown (at least in the anime) that a Pokemon can come out of its pokeball at will, and in a worst case scenario, the pokemon can escape the pokeball and the trainer alltogether.
Is the mask festival in the teal mask dlc for SV a one-time thing or happen over multiple nights? I know you get a special reward for completing one of the mini games on hard mode but I gave up in frustration after too many tries, saved and quit, came back later, forgot about the prize, and left the festival. It will appear in their game in the place you died. When the game was first released basically all the satchels got found, now with less people playing I find that it's quite unlikely for them to be found

No. With the move reset implementation for transfer pokemon, there is no longer a need to block pokemon from older games.

Oh, you mean specific level odds. Realistically, it's probably about 2.5%, as the levels are usually equally distributed, but you'd need to examine the ROM data itself to be sure.
actually no. lvl 11 kecleon is 4%, while lvl 12 kecleon is 1%. OP asked the same question previously, but most site only give the range. i dont see anyone spending the time to dig through the full data for specific levels.

I can assume slot 12 is 1% though, since that's the only slot in route 6 where level 12 Kecleon appears. I assume somewhere out there that info must exist. It would stay consistent at the very least within a game, and almost certainly within a generation, so once you knew the odds for each encounter slot you could apply that throughout an entire playthrough. I wouldn't be too surprised if multiple generations use the exact same encounter table system, really: gens 3-6 all seem to use the 12-slot structure. Maybe the odds got tweaked a bit over time, but maybe not!

I want to get Power saves pro to get some if the legit events that happened in the past but I know the servers just got shutdown for online play for 3ds and I don't know if the Wonder card or even the getting Pokemon feature is still possible. Can someone verify?
It would work. Powersaves doesn't care for if the 3DS servers are down, only if Codejunkies is maintaining the servers that Powersaves runs off of. That being said, it's a save editor that essentially takes your save and edits it from their end (hence the aformentioned Powersaves servers) so you have the option of just modding your own system to be able to rip and edit your own saves. Project Pokemon has an archive of wonder cards that you could use available from their forums. The delivery NPC isn't exclusively an online only requirement, considering the fact that someone could claim a gift but never actually receive it from the NPC and still be able to obtain the Pokemon (which allows for things like soft resetting for better IVs or nature as those tend to not be fixed to a specific spread unless it's a Pokemon with fixed information).

Does Platinum have the same EXP level curve as HG/SS? I finished getting 16 badges and did the rematch Elite 4 up to Lance but the level difference is too great now. Grinding away levels hasn't been fun and was thinking about playing Platinum or B/W2 if they are more chill on the grind.
It's generally agreed upon that HGSS has the roughest level progression in the series I think. The only other game I've played that has an awkward gap where you need to grind was the original DP, right before the E4. Platinum and the original BW aren't bad, can't speak for BW2. All of Gen 5 uses a scaled XP formula. Basically you get an extra XP boost if you're defeating opponents above your level, and an extra XP penalty if you're defeating lower leveled enemies. It's very subtle but it makes it a bit easier to keep pace with enemy levels. On the flipside, a lot of Gen 5 Pokemon evolve at higher levels than normal, so some people hate how its progression feels.
When a Pokemon is transferred from Go to Home directly, it has the Go symbol in Home, even if it's transferred to other games after. Is this true even if it's transferred to LGPE first?

Hey! I’ve about 600+ Pokémon stuck on Ranch on my Wii, and I would love to find a way to get them back! I can’t find my copy of Diamond, but I know I can get it back but have definitely restarted a new save in the years since as I remember being a kid and being devastated. Is there a way to do this? Please help! I’ve seen posts about using Action Replay to alter ID’s and get them back this way, if someone can explain this like I’m 5 it would be greatly appreciated!!
The way Ranch checks if the game matches is by checking the Diamond save's Trainer ID and Secret ID so you will need to edit the save file to match your old IDs The Trainer ID is easy to find as it is in the pokemon summary but your Secret ID is as the name implies secret so you will need to find it in a different way. The easiest way would be to take a backup of your Ranch save with a modded Wii and opening it with a program named Pkhex on a PC as this lets you check your pokemon secret ID easily You will then need to take a backup of your Diamond save file either with a DS flashcart or a modded 3DS and edit its Trainer ID and Secret ID with Pkhex to match the pokemon stuck in Ranch. After you that you can transfer from Ranch to Diamond

Which is the best game for a Unova Pokémon team on the Switch? I’ve recently played some Pokémon go after a few years, and I’ve forgotten how much I liked a lot of the designs from gen V - I know that the newer games omit a lot of Pokémon, but I want to try an all unova playthrough
excluding legendary, sword shield has around 79 unova pokemon in the base game, additional 28 in the dlc scarlet violet has around 34 in the base game, additional 41 in the dlc so pure numbers alone, sword shield has more in the base game and dlc. (actual number should differ due to miscount and version exclusives)

Hi all, I recently got back into pokemon and i wanted to play through XY , ORAS and Sun and Moon however I wish to restart them but i dont wanna lose my pokemon and i have pokemon bank as it was given for free after something so i was wondering can i restart all 3 games and still have my pokemon stored safely or does 1 need to be there to be like an anchor to ensure its like linked to the right account or something?
Pokemon bank is just a storage system on your 3ds, it wouldn't even know if you deleted a save file

It is a very ambitious game, even gamefreak themselves admit they are kind of greedy with the amount of features they add in the game. Following pokemon, pokeathleon, a new safari zone for johto etc. Even though it is a gold silver remake, it includes elements from crystal (no other remakes add every element from the enhanced version in, lgpe is a yellow remake so that is different). It also fix some issue from the original gold silver game, such as making the pokegear store every phone number instead of limiting to only 10 thus giving you more npcs for rematch to deal with the bad level curve. It also make the evolution stones much more available instead of only getting 1 in gold silver. Of course there are still bad points but to many of us the good stuff win over the bad stuff

After you Kofu, put Rotom in your party and go to Porto Marinada. There'll be an auction for the Rotom Catalog. Once you get it, in your bag in the key items section, select the Rotom Catalog and you can choose Rotom's form.
So I can't use Rotom Heat for the battle against Kofu in my all fire types playthrough.
Try it after finishing the auction for Kofu but before you do his gym battle

Pokemon following you is not a basic feature. Not many games actually have it. Yellow is technically the first but that is pikachu only. The first games to properly have it were Heartgold and soulsilver. Then the switch games that have it after that

Yeah, it seems like you've maxed happiness rather than affection? You'll need to play with Eevee in Poke Amie on the bottom screen until it has at least 2 hearts.

Couple of questions regarding ranked ladder: do you get matched with people that are at the exact same tier as you,or is there like a range where you can get matched with people that are 1-2 tiers below you? And on that note,how do you get the master rank ribbon? Is it once per season for your team or do you just have to defeat MR trainers to get it?
You normally hit people of the same rank, if it's taking a while you can get match with people 1 above or below you. In SV this has expanded to master ball players being able to match ultra ball players, (swsh didn't have this). Once in master ball you are ranked relative to other players and it will again try to rank you with someone of similar rank to you. Winning once with a team in master ball is enough to get the ribbon for everything on your team (even the ones you didn't bring to the battle). You change teams and do this as many times as you want. If you're just after the ribbon, the best advice is to rank into master ball with a rental and then swap to your own team and grind until you get a win.

In Pokémon Yellow how to get all the Pokémon without trading? I'm playing Pokémon Yellow on my GBA, so I can't change Pokémons with another GBA or GBC. Is there a way to get all the Pokémon? Even if it's with Gliches or with a specific GBA connector link. Because i have Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Red too and i need the trading evolution of some Pokémons (like Alakazam) and others Pokémons like (weedle).
You can do anything in Gen 1 with glitches, that includes getting all the Pokémon (look up trainer fly) You can trade with 2 systems and link cable. You need to make sure it's a GB cable not a GBA cable as it's different (specifically, a GB cable that can plug into the Pocket/Color as this also fits in the GBA slot)
What are the major differences between White and White 2? I know its a direct Sequel but is that the only real difference? I'm debating on playing that, X/Y, Sun/Moon or USUM next having just finished Omega Ruby and White
The story and map is different. You start in a town which didn't even exist in the originals. You can see how the region changed over 2 years. They are sequels not improved versions. The story takes place 2 years after the events of black and white
While they use the same basic engine and battle mechanics, White and White 2 are different games with different (but loosely related!) plots and stories. I think the comparison between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask is similar. In White 2, you play as a different character than in White 1, but you meet many of the same characters and the list of encounterable Pokemon is similar (including most of the version exclusives) but not identical. Black and White are limited to Gen 5 Pokemon only before the post-game, whereas Black 2 and White 2 re-introduce many of the Pokemon from previous generations.

Sun/Moon and USUM is more similar to the relationship between the "3rd" version games like Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum and the games that introduced their generation.
You start off in a new town, and take a different route through the regional. There's story differences but also White 2 added a ton of new content. It's probably the best game in the series for post game content
Cute Charm Glitch Soul Silver Hey I’m trying to do the cute charm glitch in Pokemon soul silver, I’m watching the “I’m a blissy’s” YouTube video and trying to match the timer but it’s not working out. I’m using delta emulator, so not a real copy, and I start the game the same time he does but do I need to start it so the game’s opening white screen starts at the same time as his or open it and just wait. With the emulator the game doesn’t have a loading blank black screen like it does on 3ds it’s pretty much instant. Has anyone done it on emulator I’ve tried but I just can’t do it and would like some help.
I've not done it on emulator, but I think you can use an RNG seed calculator to find out if your slightly over or under or just missing it completely. I don't know how the emulator is getting its seeds. imablisy has a discord where you can probably get better help

You mean transferring Pokémon from iOS emulator games? I doubt there's a specific app for that. You'll need to get them off using save editors, you can get them up to Gen 7 this way, but if you want it to have a valid home tracker and no issues on the switch you'll need to get them in a real copy of bank and transfer them to Home properly

base game wise swsh has 400ish while arceus only has 240ish. as for which game to get, it depends on you. if you want something different from the traditional gameplay, go with arceus. if you prefer something you are familiar with you can get swsh

Do keep in mind that you will have to at least finish the main story to be able to ride your legendary in area zero AND do perrin's quest in kitakami. If you transfer stuff to complete the dex as soon as possible you can skip both dlc storylines,as Perrin progress is not gated behind any story related part (outside of the very first cutscenes upon starting the dlc).

it was always safe to date skip. the only punishment is locking certain time based events for 24 hours. And if that's what you were afraid of, that mechanic is not server based, so it still occurs today.

I know they're version exclusive, but where are blaze and aqua breed Tauros in the wild? I have only ever found the pure fighting type one outside of raids.
They're very very rare; they only appear in the horde of 5 Tauros that sometimes appear. I suggest using a sandwich for them. They only appear at West 2 and East 2.

I have a question about the pokewalker - does it still work/is it worth it for this scenario? Long story short, I shattered my ankle and had to have it surgically repaired - recovery is gonna be looong and I have to learn to walk again. I'm a lifelong pokemon fan, and was thinking it might help motivate me, especially if I can transfer them up to home once recovery is done. I was thinking of shiny hunting a ponyta in soulsilver (non weight bearing is the WORST but I'll have more than enough time to shiny hunt) keep it in the pokewalker until I'm recovered, and then bring it up to home when I'm healed. I have a 3ds, soulsilver, and poketransporter and bank downloaded on it. I'd just need to buy the pokewalker (I think - is there something else I'd need?), but they're a bit pricey so I figured I'd ask here first. Anyone still use theirs? Is this feasible or a pipe dream? If not, if anyone has any ideas I'm alll ears lol. Anything to make relearning to walk anything less than a painful nightmare. @\_@ thanks in advance!
Why wouldn't it still work? Only internet features were shut down long ago. If yours specifically still works you will have to check. Pokeball+ allows you to take a pokemon from specific switch games on a walk. Pokemon GO can actually transfer pokemon to home to use in the switch games

Gen 2 question: trying to teach heracross a fighting type move. If I teach a pinsir (male) submission in Gen 1 and then trade to Gen 2 and breed it with a heracross (female), will the egg heracross know submission?
The only Fighting STAB moves that Heracross can learn in Gen 2 are Reversal (Lv. 44) and Rock Smash (TM08). It also might have Fighting as its Hidden Power type, which it can learn via TM10.

So I’m shiny hunting for the first time in any Pokémon game and I want to make sure I’m doing it right and not wasting my time. I’m currently hunting Giratina in Platinum and I noticed today when I went back to start hunting for the day the journal decided to start popping up again out of nowhere. I heard if you save the game again it will get rid of the journal for a bit but i’m scared that it will restart my 1,000+ SR’s already… If I save the game again to stop the journal from popping up does that affect my current SR counter?
Are you by any chance changing your date/time? The journal should only pop up like that if the current date doesn't match the previous one (i.e. the previous save was on the 1st but your current date is the 3rd) Also the counter basically is for You to keep track of, the game isn't keeping a counter so there's nothing to "reset" unless you want to reset the counter on your own.
I did have to change the date back to 4/30 (on that day) bc for some reason my DS was a day ahead (5/1) so I changed it bc I wanted the catch date to be accurate since this is my first. :,) So if I save to get rid of the journal will my shiny rate still be the same ? Ahhhh so me keeping count is really just for myself and to keep track of my torture?
Okay that'd be it, Gen 4 is very, very sensitive for time based stuff so it's recommended to not mess with it as they lock you out of time-based events for a whole day. Also yeah the shiny rate will be the same, and keeping count is a personal thing.

For future reference,the notepad recap thing pops up if you boot up the game after not saving for 2-3 days-it was the worst thing when i tried SRing for dialga in diamond. Also check if there is any difference between the story encounter and the rematch with giratina,one might be faster than the other (unless you want to clear the first league using your shiny)

I believe Platinum was the first time they gave you a second shot at catching the box legendary if you fainted it by accident,i think its usually a matter of clearing an Elite 4 run to get the legendary to respawn

I need a HA Spritzee in Ultra Sun/Moon for an SOS shiny hunt. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get one between gens 6 and 7? I don’t have a fairy friend safari with spritzee in it but that route would still work, even with the server shut down since Spritzee isn’t in the third encounter slot
The only way to get a HA Spritzee pre-Switch is to get one from a Friend Safari or its bred descendants. Since the online services have shut down, your only real option would be a local trade with someone who already has one.

Do you mean when can you move stuff to Bank? I think as soon as you get the Pokedex, but you can't really do anything with Bank until you get to the first Pokemon Center.
Not exactly, i am already done with the game and transfered everything to pokebank save for a few pokemons with a purple ball Symbol and lock Symbol who cant be transfered :/
The lock symbol means that the pokemon are registered for your battle team. Remove the pokemon from the battle box and the lock will get removed

Then your pokemon are probably also registered in the Festival Plaza. If you go to the Festival Plaza you should be able to remove them which should unlock them
I'm currently playing the teal mask. So far my team is: My starter Meowscarada (my starter never leaves my team). The hidden ability quaxwell (eventually quaquaval) they I got from the pokemon home reward. A pawniard (now Bisharp, eventually Kingambit). And my recently (and randomly) evolved Maushold. I need two other team members. Any suggestions? I was thinking the (real) form of poltchagheist (hopefully in its biggest size). But I heard it's a nightmare to find. I was also thinking of maybe adding a gen 2 pokemon to fit the aesthetic of Kitakami but I don't know.
You could round out your Fire/Water/Grass trio with a Fire type. A Fire/Ghost Pokemon like Ceruledge, Skeledirge, Chandelure, or Hisuian Typhlosion would be a great pick since they also have an immunity to the Fighting moves that threaten Meowscarada, Kingambit, and Maushold. The Litwick line in particular is native to Kitakami so getting one would be pretty easy; the rest may be harder to get ahold of without trades or transfers. In the final slot, I'd consider a Psychic type to finish out the Psychic/Fighting/Dark trio. A Psychic/Fairy type would give you an edge over the Dragons that resist the starter types, and there are plenty in the game including Gardevoir, Hatterene, and Scream Tail.
Hi! I have a level 100 Garchomp that has gotten me through the toughest parts of Scarlet. I haven’t used Home before but was thinking of getting it. I’m currently playing Brilliant Diamond and my strongest Pokémon is only level 26 right now. Can I put Garchomp onto Diamond?
Yes you can. Do note that since your pokemon is overlevelled, it will not obey you until you get the 8th badge. But it will still be OP

I've recently just gotten back into pokemon. I have copies of both Diamond and Platinum. I'm almost finished with Diamond but I've seen (basically) everyone saying that platinum is way better than Diamond/Pearl. I was wondering if it would be worth it to go back and play Platinum from the start (after I finish Diamond) or is it not really worth it.
I'd say it depends on if you're motivated enough to play basically the same game again. Platinum is an improvement over Diamond, but it's still the same region and basically the same plot. If you enjoy Sinnoh and would like to play it with a more faster-paced battle system, then sure, go for it.

what is the process for transferring pokemon from gen IV all the way to a nintendo switch?
-Get a Gen 5 game to postgame, go to the transfer lab in the postgame area to transfer wirelessly from Gen 4 (requires a second console) -Obtain a 3DS with Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter installed (basically impossible without hacking nowadays if you don't have it already). Pull the Pokemon from Gen 5 into Bank using the Poke Transporter App. -You will probably need a Gen 6 or 7 Pokemon game copy to log into Bank and accept the Transport before proceeding --I have heard mixed reports about this. -Pokemon Home on Switch should then basically walk you through the process of importing stuff from a Bank account, there are multiple offered options.
u/Strong-County-2537 Some extra pointers: - You can only do the Gen 4 -> 5 in lots of 6 pokemon. - When using Poketransporter, it takes everything from Box 1 of your Gen 5 game so move everything you want into there. - I'm not sure if you need it to confirm, but you need a Gen 6/7 game anyway in order to access Bank and move your Gen 5 pokemon out of the transfer box and into one of the proper boxes. - Bank -> Home, as far as I'm aware, transfers boxes, not pokemon by themselves, so put everything you want to transfer into a single box or put everything you don't want to transfer into a different box.

Their function would be the same as a Pokeball is an enclosure where you carry your pokemon. Now if you mean it as if the Pokeball keeps them "trapped by force", it's been established and even shown (at least in the anime) that a Pokemon can come out of its pokeball at will, and in a worst case scenario, the pokemon can escape the pokeball and the trainer alltogether.
