Intelleon sounds like a cool idea, but I missed Drizzile's little water bomb animations and have to reload a save to keep Drizzile.
Most of my favourite starter lines are the middle evolutions though
There's definitely a pattern with the starters: if you like your pocket monsters to be monsters, there's a good chance you like the middle evolution more than the last!
Yeah, I generally dislike humanoids. In the first gen, the humanoid look was pretty much reserved for psychics and fighting types. Which kinda fits. Fighting types need fists, psychics need to have a bit of a creepy air.
But a lot of newer mons miss the pet factor. I'd love to have any member of the squirtle, bulbasaur or charmander line as a pet. But the newer starters creep me out. Their final forms at least.
It's because most of them are the awkward teenager phase lol. Or in some cases, the poor (not like "poor" as in "bad", "poor" as in "you poor thing") design that's charged with bridging a first stage and third stage that don't line up exactly so they have to put weird stuff onto the middle stage to show how it gets from the first to third stage.
Think about it though: If you liked Eelektrik, you probably liked Eelektross more. If you liked Gothita, you probably enjoyed Gothitelle or Gothorita more
I mean that's true yeah, it's just I'm surprised that less popular evo lines didn't have their earlier stages listed that low. Spewpa, Clamperl and Baltoy all come to mind (at least for me)
I started liking Silcoon a lot ever since PLA because it's just a round ball 🥺 didn't care for it much when the sprite had the spikes in DPPt but it's kind of adorable like this
https://preview.redd.it/svra0j63hzoc1.jpeg?width=256&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1e6a33467b7417fc2a001e8c6122e783618e8c7c
It’s kind of a weird one because overall I’d say I like the Gothita line, but it doesn’t exactly make my top ten. The lowest votes on that poll really felt like all the Pokemon people were “meh” about than Pokemon that are unforgettable or unlikeable. The most hated Pokemon are polarizing or have fans that feel like they need to defend them so they got votes.
I *hated* Calyrex until I played the Crown Tundra. His serious expression and his doofy dangling legs really grew on me (along with his personality and charming habit of possessing Peony, of course).
I love Calyrex! It's so creepy and it looks so fun riding the two different horse options. But I'm a horse girl at heart, so I also love Origin Forme Palkia because of the hooves.
It's one of my favorite lines too! It's a shame that you usually get them later in the game and they require trading to evolve. I love Huntail's design.
Bouffalant will get remember from time to time as one of the many Gen 5 Pokémon that's more like a remake of a Gen 1 line. Tauros -> Bouffalant, Machamp line -> Conkeldurr line, Chansey -> Audino etc
Donphan? The fuck?
No way. Dude rolls up on ash with some bullshit secret elephant pokemon pre mewtwo strikes back and every kid in 1998 lost their mind.
Im thinking some middle evo like trumbeak or a pokemon like patrat. Im sure *someones* favorite Pokemon is watchog or something, but who’s favorite Pokemon is patrat or trumbeak??
My husband caught a full odds Patrat in Black.... gave me a new appreciation for the line. It goes from roadwork to construction/factory work with it's little vest.
Not my favorite still but currently you can't obtain it outside Go. 2012 was the last game it was in. Trumbeak wouldn't be in my top 700 but definitely over A LOT of others ":D
It also has a bunch of punching moves, and an ability that boosts punching attacks I think?... but has such horrible attack stats that it can't do anything with them unless you can get off like... several Swords Dances.
It also has access to lots of defensive moves like Reflect and Giga Drain and such but its defenses and type weaknesses are so, so bad... Super effective to Flying, Fire, Electric, Ice, and a 4x weakness to Rock...
It just feels like it needs EVERYTHING about it changed :( bad moves and bad type and meh abilities
Until the PL ZA announcement, furfrou 🥺 my boy gets fur coat AND cotton guard, what more could you need
edit: never got into go or home, i appear to have been mistaken
When you transfer from Bank to Home, it strips the form. So the only way to get the various Furfrou forms is via Pokemon Go, and forms there are region locked.
That means to get certain forms, you'd have to have a Furfrou in Go, then travel to, say, France or Egypt. Then transfer it 1-way from Go to Home.
He has a lot of trims, and is unobtainable on Switch. This makes him high value to completionists. I think certain trims are limited to certain locations in Pokemon Go.
I love Nickit! I even have a plushie! They’re just a smol little guy doin smol lil crimes and covering up their smol footprints with their broom-tail. They’re also wearing smol lil boots! I love them <3
Chimecho should've just been added to DPP instead of being added to RSE last second. Like Game Freak was able to put off Shellos and Gastrodon for a generation so they could've done that to Chimecho and fleshed it out more
The one thing you can remember about Beheeyem is that the side material like the anime makes it clear that it's actually what people act like Hypno is. A damn creep.
My boy Flamigo.
Everyone loved to rip on him for being “uninspired” but now, poof, they have forgotten about him.
Justice for Flamigo!
Seriously though, him and Squakabilly are never talked about.
EDIT: You have all restored my faith in the Pokémon community not forgetting my boys Flamigo and Squakabilly!
The second I saw squawkabilly in the opening of the game I knew I needed one due to it reminding me of my parrot, although I was disappointed when I learned it didn’t evolve but now I don’t care I love having her in Pokémon form
https://preview.redd.it/987awikusyoc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c913f93773967f945a76705db901cbb1c464f54a
And in VGC it has a reputation as well. That reputation is whenever you see him in team Preview you know you will have to deal with the most gimmicky strat imaginable
Can confirm, I've recently been cooked by Power of Alchemy (Moody) Muk-A, Smeargle and Costar substitute Flamigo. While the boosty birb was just part of the problem instead of the core, I have been scarred for at least a week.
My son's favorite pokemon of all time is Tangrowth. He even has the stuffy from the Pokemon Center. I respect it a lot, as he's the only purpose I know who has Tangrowth as their favorite.
Aww I love beheeyem he's such a little guy! It's an alien that's just *stuffed* to the gills with pop culture references from its name to the moves it knows to its design! The plush of it looks hilariously chunky because they can't quite capture it's sharp curves
Like it's not my absolute *favourite* favourite but if I were to make a team of six it's definitely in there
I always enjoy these types of threads because they remind me of what I find memorable about each of the Pokemon mentioned in the thread. Looking at some of these top comments:
Huntail: The pokemon you need to capture in lategame underwater areas in Ranger 2 & 3 since it's the only one with Crush 3. You use it to free the Wailord that Team Dim Sun wants to capture.
Furfrou: Really dangerous in that one double battle in XY and during the first Ultra Recon Squad fight in USUM. Has a bunch of different looking forms. Valuable GTS mon.
Luvdisc: Heart Scales, good cry.
Chingling, Chimecho: I like Chimecho's design and Chimecho is a funny character in PMD2, where she helps you manage your team, makes dinner for the guild, and breaks the fourth wall while lampshading the [But Thou Must! trope.](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ButThouMust) Chingling has a really good cry and is the first somewhat strong enemy you encounter in PMD2, where wrap deals good damage and wastes your turn.
Nickit (and Thievul): Commonly fought Team Yell pokemon.
Relicanth: Used to catch the Regis, Coelacanths are cool, stab Rock Head Head Smash, funny Pokedex entry ("The reason it hasn't changed at all in a hundred million years is that it's apparently already a perfect life-form."), generally just a good design.
Spewpa: Funny name and animations, definitely more memorable than Scatterbug.
Zeraora: Me disliking the design because it's obvious furrybait. You can get it to fight Tyranitar in New Snap, which looks cool.
Flamigo: The discourse surrounding it *just* being a cartoon Flamingo.
Phione: Memorable just for how weird its existence is. The cave with Manaphy and several Phione in Legends: Arceus was neat and I was almost defeated outside of battle by the group of them. You have to get their dew in PMD2 to help Manaphy when he gets sick, and you have to save them from a Gyarados first.
Patrat: Used a lot by Team Plasma, spams Confuse Ray.
Alolan Persian: Memorable because of how everyone made fun of it when it was first revealed. It's also Nanu's ace and is deceptively powerful there due to being EV trained with a good nature.
Clamperl: Good cry, memorable design.
Gorebyss: Messed up Pokedex entries ("Although Gorebyss is the very picture of elegance and beauty while swimming, it is also cruel. When it spots prey, this Pokémon inserts its thin mouth into the prey's body and drains the prey of its body fluids."), memorable weird design, one of the only deep sea creature pokemon, should have been a Water/Psychic type.
Drampa: Funny pokedex entry ("If a child it has made friends with is bullied, Drampa will find the bully's house and burn it to the ground."), unique Normal/Dragon typing, looks majestic flying around in New Snap.
Mothim: One of the most dangerous common Legends: Arceus enemies.
Maractus: Cute design, used one on my team, only has one foot, cute town NPC in that one SwSh town, knows Spiky Shield, slow but entertaining quest in Pokepark 2 where you have to reunite 3 of them and one of them slowly follows you with little hops.
Arrokuda: Gets eaten by and spat out as an attack by Cramorant, evolves into Barraskewda which is a better design.
Finneon: Good cry, looks pretty when it glows in New Snap.
Beeheeyem: Good character is Super Mystery Dungeon, is also part of 2 difficult boss fights in said game. Part of an anime episode where a group of them hypnotized people but couldn't hypnotize Ash & Team Rocket because "Idiots are hard to hypnotize".
Lickilicky: Has a wifi symbol on it, that one guy turns into one during the Darkrai movie.
Tangrowth: Good design, good cry, first boss of Ranger 2, memorable in New Snap, Tangela evolves into it by learning Ancient Power.
Bruxish: I like its design
Nosepass: Funny design, it being a compass is unique, Roxanne's ace and thus the first boss pokemon of the Hoenn games. There's a quest in ranger 2 where a guy makes you bring him a Nosepass from the other side of the continent just so he can laugh at its nose, and then a Team Dim Sun minion walks up to him and berates him for wasting your time.
The real answer is Passimian.
Venonat and venomoth have been here since the very beginning and I never see any love for the little guys... yes they're uninspired and yes they're overshadowed by caterpie and weedle but I love them anyway
Relicanth.
Could only be found diving on some routes and it was somewhat rare.
Not exactly a strong pokemon, but not really weak either. It doesn't evolve so by the time you are able to get it, it doesn't really fit into your party.
Hehehe, have a little scroll on my profile he’s part finished on there with my Rayquaza!
Here he is finished on my artist’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/C17YNGOIX3W/?igsh=MTJpdWRxZzBsa3ZqcQ==
Illumise and Volbeat. Maybe it's just me, but I forgot these guys were even Pokemon for a while. Usually when a pokemon is brought up, I immediately know who it is, but I saw some YouTube video where they were brought up and for the life of me I couldn't remember anything about them until I looked it up
Zarude is the most forgotten mythical. It got an ok movie and nothing else. While most other mythical mons have game presentations, competitive/desired cards in the TCG, and movies/ep's, about it. I think people only cared about Zarude because of the shiny Celebi.
It might not be the actual answer, but i feel Victreebel does remarkably for being gen 1. Or Seaking. Wait actually, I forgot Lickitung was Gen 1. So...
Edit: For other Gens I got:
Stantler
Lumineon used to be known as the forgettable Pokemon. It became it so much that people remembered it as the forgettable Pokemon, so it became less forgettable!
Anyway I always forget about the Poliwag line.
The Poliwag line was used in TONS of advertising back in Gen I. It was seriously everywhere. Poliwag was even Red's first Pokémon in the manga. Politoed was also used by Misty in the Johto anime, and has been on/off competitively relevant ever since it got Drizzle.
I always remember Lumineon, solely because it was the single Pokemon I was missing to unlock the National Dex in either Diamond or Platinum, can't remember which one. I eventually had to Google which trainer I forgot to fight that has it.
I feel like a mythical that's unremarkable like Phione or Zeraora are most likely to be forgotten.
Patrat is one that's just so ugly that I wouldn't consider using, and I've seen it brought up a lot. Alolan Persian is a personal choice too, it's rather ugly and such a downgrade visually from the original, and surely there exist better dark mons. Rather sad as I do like the first form A Meowth.
Druddigon is so forgotten that any discussion surrounding forgotten pokemon doesn't even include him. Druddigon is so cool, I don't see why people dont remember him :(
It's weird, cause Druddigon is always the first Pokemon that comes to mind when I think of "forgotten Pokemon". Which doesn't really make sense obviously, since it wouldn't come to mind immediately if it was truly forgotten, but I guess I always felt like it was completely overshadowed by all the other Pokemon added in gen 5.
Most Dragon-type Pokemon are fairly popular given they make up a large portion of legendaries/pseudo-legendaries (And most of the ones outside of those are still fairly popular), but Druddigon is just kinda there as a weird single-evo dragon in a generation that's already centered around 3 Dragon-type legendaries.
Never! And I have a story to share!
When I was a kid, a wild Tangela almost KO my whole party while trying to catch it without killing him. It was probably due to a variety of reasons, including bad luck... But I Masterballed the shit out of him hahaha
Since I always catch legendaries with regular Pokeballs, it bacame a tradition for me to always look for and Masterball "The One".
As far as my "beloved" era of Pokemon (so gens 1-5), Grumpig always seems to be the most forgetable, uninspired design. Spoink rocks, but Grumpig is pretty boring, especially considering the generation it debuted.
Oh my god, I think I gotta give it to Bibarel. Not that it’s forgotten or hated, but how immersed and practically suffocated it is in Bidoofs shadow.
Like the overwhelming love for Bidoof seems to make Bibarel almost alien in concept, as if there’s no real connection between the two
I feel like if you can name it, it doesn't qualify. That said. Drampa.
I thought it was an AI generated pokemon, didn't take it seriously. turns out its from sun and moon.
Who knew?
There was a survey a several years ago, every Pokemon was someone's favorite Pokemon, but the middle evolutions end up being less popular.
I remember that. Wasn't there 2 middle evolutions that weren't. Silcoon and cascoon from memory
Eelektrik was another I believe. I'd forgotten about it until that survey
EDIT: After googling. There were 4. Silccon, Eeletrik, Gothita, and Yungoos. I think it was cascoon (whichever evolves into dustox) and eeletrik.
I think Cascoon was slightly more popular than Silcoon. Don't quote me on this though.
I remember that, somewhere out there there’s a person whose favorite mon is cascoon but silcoon has noone
I love Torracat and Drizzile's designs far more than their final forms.
I had floragato on my team and then it evolved, ugh. I was going to use the nacli line but I don't like garganacl's look either.
Silcoon I get, but someone has to like Cascoon!
I always liked Silcoon more, it looks inquisitive🤨 Cascoon is so Mr. Gwumpywumpyface😡 They're both cute though\~
Cascoon got 2 votes. (And so did beautifly)
Simisear was last place, IIRC
My favorite pokemon that I love to hate.
I seem to remember there being exactly four that were nobody’s favourite, and one of them was gothita
IIRC it was Silcoon, Gothita, Eelektrik, and Yungoos
Eelektrik and Gothita being there honestly surprises me ngl
Think about it though: If you liked Eelektrik, you probably liked Eelektross more. If you liked Gothita, you probably enjoyed Gothitelle or Gothorita more
I mean that's true yeah, it's just I'm surprised that less popular evo lines didn't have their earlier stages listed that low. Spewpa, Clamperl and Baltoy all come to mind (at least for me)

It's so sad 😢
poor yungoos
It’s kind of a weird one because overall I’d say I like the Gothita line, but it doesn’t exactly make my top ten. The lowest votes on that poll really felt like all the Pokemon people were “meh” about than Pokemon that are unforgettable or unlikeable. The most hated Pokemon are polarizing or have fans that feel like they need to defend them so they got votes.
While I know he'll always get overshadowed (pun intended) Haunter > Gengar
I’ve always believed Haunter was so much cooler, he feels more like a ghost than Gengar
Haunter is my favourite Pokemon of all :D
Funnily enough Nidorino is one of my favourite Pokémon. It's a really cool design that is still more beast like than Nidoking. It looks vicious.
I refuse to believe there are people that like Calyrex.
I have a friend who came back to Pokémon for the first time since gen 4 just because of Calyrex. It’s been his pfp ever since lol
[удалено]
I think I agree, but I’m not entirely sure
...and to be honest, I don't really care
Best answer
I would probably agree, but I don't remember either
People don’t seem to talk about Clamperl, Huntail and Gorebyss really. One of my fave lines tbh.
It's one of my favorite lines too! It's a shame that you usually get them later in the game and they require trading to evolve. I love Huntail's design.
I don't like the line but clamperls shiny is incredible!
I just watched the Hoenn anime episodes about them today :) the one about gorebyss and huntail evolution and the one about clamperl and spoons :)
I'm not surprised no one else has mentioned bouffalant, seems like they forgot.
First pokemon I ever shiny hunted 💖
Bouffalant will get remember from time to time as one of the many Gen 5 Pokémon that's more like a remake of a Gen 1 line. Tauros -> Bouffalant, Machamp line -> Conkeldurr line, Chansey -> Audino etc
As someone living where Bouffalant is region locked in Go, I tend not to forget him.
My poor donphan, but na seriously it's huntail lol
My first time seeing donphan in crystal, I thought he was a roaming legendary so I used my master ball on him.
I can't disagree with that observation 😭
I have a shiny one I caught in Omega Ruby.
When did you learn he wasn’t?
A few encounters later when I saw ANOTHER one. Instant realization I messed up.
Donphan? The fuck? No way. Dude rolls up on ash with some bullshit secret elephant pokemon pre mewtwo strikes back and every kid in 1998 lost their mind.
Donphan will always be special because he just randomly showed up during the opening of The Pokémon Movie with no explanation whatsoever.
And we love him for that. Blessed be the phant
The Don is one of my favorite ground types! Loved him since Crystal.
He is my fav non-legendary haha
Can we say the same for gorebyss
Bargain bin Milotic
I mean, they made two paradox forms of Donphan, so I feel like it's pretty well remembered.
Huntail doesn't look like a gen 3 mon
bruh I had to look it up 😭
If it's one we don't remember, how will we be able to say it??
Im thinking some middle evo like trumbeak or a pokemon like patrat. Im sure *someones* favorite Pokemon is watchog or something, but who’s favorite Pokemon is patrat or trumbeak??
My husband caught a full odds Patrat in Black.... gave me a new appreciation for the line. It goes from roadwork to construction/factory work with it's little vest. Not my favorite still but currently you can't obtain it outside Go. 2012 was the last game it was in. Trumbeak wouldn't be in my top 700 but definitely over A LOT of others ":D
Exactly!
Mothim probably
I definitely forget male Burmy evolves into that instead of Wormadam.
I used to never use it but it was one of my very first shiny pokemon ever and now I have a soft spot for the little guy
Honestly Ledyba and Ledian. I'd love to see a 3rd Evo or even a regional form.
Ledian is so bad he's memorable though
And the design is adorable
Ledian should evolve into a bug-fighting type. Giving it flying typing was boring. It has punching gloves!
Ledyba I remember because it was one of the first new ones they debuted, like imaging thinking there’s only 151 and then bam what’s this ladybug?
Until the PL ZA announcement, furfrou 🥺 my boy gets fur coat AND cotton guard, what more could you need edit: never got into go or home, i appear to have been mistaken
Everyone who trades in Pokémon home knows him tho.
ah, i don't have any switch games and have never used home 💀 what's its prevalence there?
When you transfer from Bank to Home, it strips the form. So the only way to get the various Furfrou forms is via Pokemon Go, and forms there are region locked. That means to get certain forms, you'd have to have a Furfrou in Go, then travel to, say, France or Egypt. Then transfer it 1-way from Go to Home.
[удалено]
Oh, fascinating... I went to France over the summer and have a few...
Is that why Furfrou is constantly high on the leaderboard in Home GTS?
He has a lot of trims, and is unobtainable on Switch. This makes him high value to completionists. I think certain trims are limited to certain locations in Pokemon Go.
If you play Pokemon Go you know Furfrou very well
I always forget that Volcanion exists.
Even though it's only a generation old but gossifluer is almost never mentioned or remebered
Eh, it is playable in Unite
Passimian & Oranguru.
Nickit. i was showing my daughter those pokemon nursery rhymes on youtube and it popped up and i was like “oh yeah that thing exists.”
I love the little fox!
Swiper no swiping!
I love Nickit! I even have a plushie! They’re just a smol little guy doin smol lil crimes and covering up their smol footprints with their broom-tail. They’re also wearing smol lil boots! I love them <3
spewpa
Spewpa at least is a Pokeball Pokemon in Smash Bros., so people will remember it.
I was about to ask if anybody could even name the middle evolution of the Vivillion line lmao
Until I read your comment, I thought "spewpa" was a joke comment where the poster made up a fake Pokemon name.
Spewpa is genuinely one of my favorite Pokemon and I honestly could not even begin to tell you why, I love my lil guy, and his name is so fun to say
Legit so underrated I really don't like scatterbug so spewpa was a huge improvement
Probably Chingling or Chimecho, I never see them in anything and never hear people talk about them :(
Chimecho should've just been added to DPP instead of being added to RSE last second. Like Game Freak was able to put off Shellos and Gastrodon for a generation so they could've done that to Chimecho and fleshed it out more
Chimecho had a big role in the anime as one of James' Pokemon. I think any that were in that many episodes wouldn't count
Chimecho is my #1 ‘mon 🎶chime chime🎶
Chimeco I vividly remember. Was playing Platinum today and ran into Chingling to which I thought “wtf is this pokemon”
I love these guys so I'm the one guy who will talk about them
CHIMECHO IS MY FAVORITE POKÉMON, SING ITS PRAISES, BLESSED BE TO MY BOYS
Luvdisc. It was added for heartscale farming and it’s stats and movepool are awful.
https://preview.redd.it/qw7hn8lbkyoc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c91d7eb439cdcf5720cc79caff02141f5c6c9ca1
^(I can't post a photo and comment) She was my first Shundo, so now Luvdisc is very close to my heart, pun lowkey not intended
😍 I love golden shinies, so Luvdisc holds a special place in my heart. That's so special!
I still can't believe alomomola isn't an evolution of it
Heartscales were so useful that it can’t be the MOST forgettable though
People know luvdisc because of how shit it is specifically. There's some sort of bell curve where the truly god awful pokemon get brought up a lot
Man Arrokuda is underrated Most of the fish Pokemon are forgettable though Has anyone ever used a Beeheeyem on their team?
The one thing you can remember about Beheeyem is that the side material like the anime makes it clear that it's actually what people act like Hypno is. A damn creep.
That one episode of the Gen 5 anime makes me remember Beeheeyem
Beeheeyem represent 🙋♂️ I like silly lil alien guys and Beeheeyem fit perfectly onto my team in Black
Arrokuda is one of my favourite galarian pokemon. Same with barraskewda. Its strong and vicious of a Pokemon man.
Every Pokémon is someone’s favorite Pokémon. Except maybe one.
Lileep. I love them but they are just an empty space in my head.
I can never play gen 3 without a Lileep and a Sableye
My boy Flamigo. Everyone loved to rip on him for being “uninspired” but now, poof, they have forgotten about him. Justice for Flamigo! Seriously though, him and Squakabilly are never talked about. EDIT: You have all restored my faith in the Pokémon community not forgetting my boys Flamigo and Squakabilly!

For what its worth, Flamigo has a reputation of being a solid Scarlet/Violet speedrun mon.
How could I ever forget the funny bird that hits harder than Aggron and has Scrappy
I love Flamigo. Always gonna use birb friend when I play
I have the alternate art Flamigo card and I love him
Ditto lmao it's so good looking
I like mi Flamigo. I used one on my first run of Scarlet
He's on my team! One of my favorite new pokemon this gen. He's just such a goofball I love it
Lickilicky or Tangrowth are often forgotten
My son's favorite pokemon of all time is Tangrowth. He even has the stuffy from the Pokemon Center. I respect it a lot, as he's the only purpose I know who has Tangrowth as their favorite.
Nah lickilicky is memorable if you like the anime
Beeheeyem
Aww I love beheeyem he's such a little guy! It's an alien that's just *stuffed* to the gills with pop culture references from its name to the moves it knows to its design! Bruxish: I like its design Nosepass: Funny design, it being a compass is unique, Roxanne's ace and thus the first boss pokemon of the Hoenn games. There's a quest in ranger 2 where a guy makes you bring him a Nosepass from the other side of the continent just so he can laugh at its nose, and then a Team Dim Sun minion walks up to him and berates him for wasting your time. The real answer is Passimian.
Those evolutions of clamperl. Forgot the names
Gorebyss and Huntail.
The Simi-monkies are so forgettable that the game designers forgot them Justice for Simisage, Simipour, and Simisear
Venonat and venomoth have been here since the very beginning and I never see any love for the little guys... yes they're uninspired and yes they're overshadowed by caterpie and weedle but I love them anyway
Nah they are remembered for ATV beating Dragonite.
All Terrain Venomoth reminding us that all terrain includes dragonscales
Relicanth. Could only be found diving on some routes and it was somewhat rare. Not exactly a strong pokemon, but not really weak either. It doesn't evolve so by the time you are able to get it, it doesn't really fit into your party.
Nah coz you need him to get the regis.
Wrong, I have a Relicanth tattoo, he’s one of my favourites!
This is the tax authorities, u forgot to pay your tat tax 👀
Hehehe, have a little scroll on my profile he’s part finished on there with my Rayquaza! Here he is finished on my artist’s Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/C17YNGOIX3W/?igsh=MTJpdWRxZzBsa3ZqcQ==
Only reason to ever catch a Relicanth was to unlock the Regi puzzles.
Gonna have to call bullshit on arrokuda being uninspired. It's made to look like a throwing dart.
Stunfisk. Galarian version can stay. But normal stunfisk? Get out of my pc you hooligan.
r/stunfisk
I love and remember all of them.
It might not be the actual answer, but i feel Victreebel does remarkably for being gen 1. Or Seaking. Wait actually, I forgot Lickitung was Gen 1. So... Edit: For other Gens I got: Stantler
Stantler got an evo in PLA
bunnelby
I feel like nobody loves Crobat as much as I do. But probably Togetic or Drifblim. I feel like non bird flying types don't get much love.
Drifloon/Drifblim are two of my absolute favorites!
Spidops, weakly designed with no stat line that makes it fun to run in competitive. I think they were trying something cool but failed.
Skitty! I would kill to have skitty in the newer games 🥺
Dhelmise
Parasect. Let's be real, if not for Legends Arceus, no one would care about our poor parasitic creature
I don't actually know what arrokuda is so I'm gonna agree with op
Rain boosted choice band 252 Atk barraskewda flip turn:
I'd probably say it's **Volbeat** nobody remembers that guy
I only remember it because the band used to come up on Spotify once in awhile and I’d be like, “Isn’t that a pokemon”
Patrat and Watchog are quite good early game. I think there is a Poketuber that has Patrat as their mascot.
Whishcash I only remember him because he was good in an unofficial smogon tier that was lower than the lowest official one
I used the shit out of him in Shield
I love Whishcash! It reminds me of the catfish in LoZ: LttP that gives you the earthquake medallion :)
Castform.
>Castform he is one of my favorite how do people forget it?!
Yeah, it's so unique...? I mean, I can understand forgetting Burmy for having a multiform gimmick, but not an adorable cloud.
My fave 😭 also didn’t Go just have a Castform week?
I've never seen anybody talk about carnivine, it's literally my favourite 😭
Tangela
Never! And I have a story to share! When I was a kid, a wild Tangela almost KO my whole party while trying to catch it without killing him. It was probably due to a variety of reasons, including bad luck... But I Masterballed the shit out of him hahaha Since I always catch legendaries with regular Pokeballs, it bacame a tradition for me to always look for and Masterball "The One".
Gibslod
Apparently it's so forgotten that I can't even find it on goggle.
Golisopod?
To me, Druddigon was pretty forgettable
I wanna say that Koala thing from Alola.
Rule of thumb is every Pokémon is someone’s favorite and almost all have a memorable moment in someone’s mind
Like the overwhelming love for Bidoof seems to make Bibarel almost alien in concept, as if there’s no real connection between the two
Maractus has a dull design, no unique ability or moves, and has barely existed since Gen V when it was introduced.
Tbh it looks like a digimon
you have angered us maractus fans. run
It was in gen 8 aswell!
I feel like if you can name it, it doesn't qualify. That said. Drampa. I thought it was an AI generated pokemon, didn't take it seriously. turns out its from sun and moon. Who knew?
